Hi everyone, as you all know I am the creator of Mush/Coral. I have been considering redoing my ocs lore and doing a complete rewrite, also since school is back in session it might be a bit time consuming. So I’ll be taking a bit of a Hitaus while doing so. Please remember that my oc isn’t apart of the pressure universe, they are a character that was made purely out of fun. (For a certain time)

My oc’s lore is simple I guess.

Mushroom on =Mush

Mushroom off= Coral

Mushroom on top of Bandage: Coral pretending to be Mush/avoiding eye contact with Eyeinfestation.

It was supposed to be written like they got arrested and falsely accused kinda like Sebastian, however due to the crime I was thinking how would their father do that? Which caused me to wonder further if my oc’s lore could be more accurate to the sentence. Including age. I said they were 19, which now thinking about it, I wanna bump it up to ether 25 or 27.

I’m still going to do a getting their life together however story is going to be different. Instead of being arrested I decided to have them work as a recently hired scientist for NightShade, and discover something they shouldn’t, ending up locked away and told they died during they’re time at the lab due to a “freak accident.”

Yes I’ve have a lot to think upon the lore during my time away from roleplay, and little to no asks.

Long story short they became a lab rat. The DiVine having the mushroom due to a dead prisoner, is still in there since mushroom usually grow from decay.

Coral’s name will be changed since the last name I felt didn’t fit right for some time.

Yes Mush will be changed to.

I’ve been thinking of new designs anyways.

Know I will come back at some point in time, but for now. I’m here to announce this in case if you’re wondering if I don’t respond for a long period of time.

I know about the devs drama, it’s not hard to miss. Honestly not surprised in the slightest. However separating the game from the developers at this point is considered hard since this is a game were talking about. How long has this been going on?

Coral shrugs.

“I’ve been ok, hm… although, I’ve been better.”

Coral looks around, the surroundings all too familiar y now. They sigh, looking at the mushroom in their bag, for some reason it’s color seems a bit off, was it dying?

“I think I might need to find the DiVine soon….”

Coral held their bag close. The feeling of the plush mushroom against them inside the bag, it felt so familiar and comforting… however the memory of how it confused many people upon their identity… it felt odd, but the name Mush… it felt connected…. In some way.

Deep in thought about this, how did they even survive? Did… did this mushroom unknowingly save them?

Coral felt more confused when thinking about it. Did it have some healing quality?

Coral would be caught off guard, then laughs a bit, shrugging off their injury likes it’s nothing to worry about.

“I’m fine, I just put on a fresh bandage. Got caught off guard a bit by Eyeinfestation. While looking away I ended up cutting my arm on something.”

They’d decided to change the subject. Clearing they’re throat a bit.

“Ahem! How have you been though?”

UrbanShade Hadal Division

The Mushroom

Z-### Codename: The Mushroom is considered to be a [REDACTED] nobody is to interact with it, for it seems to be guarded by the Divine for some unknown reason… however we have brought in a prisoner to test out and try to see what the mushroom does to see if it is safe or not. We shall see once the test is completed.

The test was successful, however the test subject known as [REDACTED] was unable to reach the Mushroom due to the Divine stoping them… this Mushroom appears to be important to the Divine for some reason…. More important than expected…. However we intend on proceeding to see what it does and how it will react to the future subjects. For now… we will see how things go for another test subject known as the [REDACTED].

The Mushroom seems to grow bigger by each passing day, long ago I mentioned about the test subject known as [REDACTED], unfortunately… the DiVine seemed to be more aggressive the more we try to get close. We recently brought in another test subject known as Coral Cordillera. They where going to study into further research upon plant science, they seemed to be very knowledgeable upon certain plants and decided to go into further study, at first we planned on using them for… other things… but this may be used to our advantage. We’ll have to wait and see how things go.

Coral Cordillera, has proven successful in gaining trust with the DiVine, and Coral seems to be interested upon what exactly the DiVine is. Ether way, we are now pondering if wether or not to give them the offer of a bit more freedom, if we gain more insight upon the mushroom. Although they seem to be less interested in getting out, in their file it says here they’re only care taker was they’re aunt and has not other living relatives, though 19, they wouldn’t be able to go anywhere or even try after they’re trial. Even if we give them a new identity, they seem less interested. It doesn’t hurt to attempt to offer such a deal. Maybe they can learn a thing or two under a certain “condition”.

Coral nods, even though they kinda knew that. They then go out the vent to clear they’re head and just wait till he had a plan.

They go walk around the facility, perhaps this is for best? Ether way, they weren’t going to back out, they want to take down UrbanShade, no matter the costs.

“You can call me whenever you need, I’d do anything to take down UrbanShade…”

Coral would go over to the vent, but pause… something was telling them not to go through with it but they made up their mind.

“Even though we can’t fully trust each other, it’s fine. I’ll just walk around a bit, maybe look for supplies.”

However hearing upon ruining at least something of UrbanShade, who caused probably other possible prisoners who were probably or probably not innocent through hell… it sounds crazy yet… they couldn’t help but think… if they did this… they would risk getting exposed and probably killed…

Remembering their own document, they opened it a bit. They knew… yet they kept them down here. Closing their file, they took a deep breath…

Their decision… was final…

“I don’t really have anywhere to go even if I were to supposedly be deemed innocent… but all I know is that, that file caused me trouble once…. I don’t want that to happen again. Can never be too careful now a days.”

They’d look over at Sebastian. The file in his hand practically exposed their lie. Coral looked at the floor arms crossed, a small smile on their face. They knew they were bad at lying… why try now? Especially since it was a high chance of him having their own file itself….

“You have the file so there’s no point in lying… I’ve already tried getting the crystal myself but… that didn’t end well…”

Coral would sigh in annoyance, seeming more tired. Not really caring anymore when talking.

“Can’t trust anyone who comes down here… I feel stupid for even thinking I had a chance to begin with… maybe when I was that… Mush person I was more a less given a new chance but I just had to wake up I guess.”

Coral would stop…. More shaken with sadness than rage.

“I just want to at least know… if I was ever capable enough to… at least try and get out…”

Their grip on their arms tightened a bit. The look at the Mushroom in the bag they had along with the drawings of the residents…

“Was… Mush… you’re friend or… something…? They seemed to have quite the words of amazement for you and how you run your shop. I.. never knew who you were exactly but… the picture did seem like they had a hard time getting a clear version of you.”

Coral would dig through and hold up a picture made by Mush. They were telling the truth… However Coral was more curious about what these guys thought of Mush themselves…

Coral would take their file, but not in much of a rush as they were in before to get it… They already decided they weren’t going to try again… but to think when getting it… it would cause everyone death… Coral didn’t like the sound of that… they already stained their hands with blood… they didn’t want to do it again.

“I wouldn’t like that at all, I don’t want to murder anyone… might as well be stuck than kill people.”

They’d however would look at their file, the painful reminder of reality to… no where to go, no one to turn to.

“Maybe it would be ok to have some allies, but I’m not the type to trust someone so easily. I’m just surprised you didn’t jump at the chance to lie about my file being here.”

Coral would seem a bit awkward. They were never one to say thank you a lot.

“I appreciate that. I don’t really have use for files but I can’t say I didn’t gather a few. If you’d like I could give you the drawing. I don’t really have any use for it. Might as well give it to you along with the files.”

They’d offer the files along with the attempted draw from Mush.

“You think? Also why even mention that, I doubt UrbanShade would’ve let me leave to begin with…”

The reason why Coral being framed for it was assumed to be because the victim was their own aunt who died to stabbing in the heart and lower stomach. The fingerprints were on the knife only looking at it now as Coral trying to help her. UrbanShade decided to keep them down at the Blacksite for they saw what value she had given. They were told they was still guilty, however never told they were indeed proven innocent.

It’s due to this information EXPs we’re sure this was evidence but only read how UrbanShade took them in as a test subject, not a person who took a deal.

As if they’d ever take a deal from them….

However they were going to plan to propose a deal to figure out a red mushroom tthe DiVine was growing, it was assumed to be due to an old test subject dying, however we’re very protective of it for some unknown reason.

They’re offer being freedom, however the offer was going to be presented to Coral in they’re last interview….

The file would have pinned note to it, along with the picture of the out of place mushroom. Perhaps by the last scientist that had interviewed them.

‘Something came up, perhaps the offer will come another day.’

They had no knowledge about the deal of obtaining and observing the mushroom for their freedom.

Coral crosses their arms deep in thought.

“Which also means I’d have to search more…”

They’d mumble… but eventually sigh in frustration. As mush as they wanted to explain their situation, they weren’t exactly sure if they means they’d think they’re someone not to be trusted or not… but they noticed something else to when meeting this guy.

“You sound familiar though……”

Coral would back up a bit, still intimidated by him. However the thought of someone finding their file and thinking the wrong idea… they don’t want to risk that.

“Let’s say… If! You find a file by the Coral Cordelia …. I would like to burn it myself... But considering how you don’t exactly have it…. I guess it’s ether destroyed or still out there….”

Coral crosses their arms deep in thought.

“Which also means I’d have to search more…”

They’d mumble… but eventually sigh in frustration. As mush as they wanted to explain their situation, they weren’t exactly sure if they means they’d think they’re someone not to be trusted or not… but they noticed something else to when meeting this guy.

If this guy has many of them, surely he would’ve probably found theirs. But regardless it’s worth a shot.

Coral would take the keycard, but would still feel uneasy about being alone with this guy, who wouldn’t? Upon first seeing him. Coral would take a breath trying to calm themselves down before they end up doing something stupid…

He’d catch a glimpse of red and white. Perhaps a mushroom? But Coral didn’t pay any mind to it.

“Anyways… um thank you but, I’m just gonna-“

They’d point to the vent as to say they’re leaving.
