i like that we had grace and frankie as a series long enough that we got to go on the full journey alongside the showrunners/writers/etc. of "we are telling the gayest story ever told between these two women but we don't know it" to "oh my god, people ship this on the internet???? abort! abort! they are platonic friends!" and then back to "ah, screw it, we liked it the original way, this is still the gayest story ever told between two women, make what you will of that. they won't kiss because we never envisioned that but here's everything else. including angel dolly parton. she also ships it."

this is why shows should have 7 seasons sometimes btw

Not feminist as in "women should be included in the draft" but feminist as in "being drafted is a violation of bodily autonomy for any gender".

The draft should not exist. Drafting people into the military is a violation of human rights. You should not be able to force someone to risk their life. If you can't find enough people who care about a conflict to keep it going then it simply shouldn't keep going. You can't even force someone to donate a kidney using government power, why the fuck can you force them to donate their whole body and life to a cause they don't agree with or don't care about?

Funniest thing about these images is that Janeway and Harry absolutely have these in-universe. Someone sees a lovingly framed picture of the captain in Harry's quarters and understandably goes "that's a bit...weird." and Harry 'I remember being in the womb' Kim would be like "What? No. How is it weird. She's the captain." Like that explains anything. Meanwhile Janeway has Baby's First Starship Portrait on her coffee table where she looks at it and has a quick guilt session because of the Horrors she inflicts on this person whose become a symbol of innocence and the journey home to her. Both of them think this is normal.
