Ally's eyes narrowed, not liking the fact that she didn't pass this test. his wink was reassuring, at least; it almost seemed like she wasn't supposed to pass.

"every single one? seriously?" ally didn't think there was that much hydra left, let alone so many agents in a concentrated area. as steve explained the signs and ally continued to watch below, she did start to notice what he pointed out. "a lot of them have stiff hands," she said, her own coming up to rest on her knee. "how did you find them here?"

lips curled into a soft grin. "i was testing your observation skills." somethings rogers had YEARS to master. he winked at allison.

nodding his head towards the masses below, steve continued. "i wanted to KNOW if they seemed odd to you. different than normal, mundane citizens. every single person you see down there is a hydra affiliated agent. maybe even actual hydra. can you spot how stiff their gait is? how they CONSTANTLY are looking for trouble?" the movements were subtle. hardly noticeable if you weren't sure what to look for.

Ally didn't even attempt to deign that response with a response, and she simply raised an eyebrow. "Spill it, Kate."

ally knelt next to steve, still looking just as tiny next to him as her eyes followed the people below them. his question had her eyebrows scrunching ever so slightly as she focused.

while one hand rested on a knee, her other one stayed at her side as she started to move her fingers. air currents below them became beacons, an extra sense that ally honed in on to try and find anything unusual about these people; steve wouldn't have asked if there wasn't anything unusual. "do you know something i don't?" she finally asked, her fingers stilling and the air dissipating from her control. "i can't tell what i'm supposed to be looking for."
