Hello friends and supporters, After more than 20 months fighting cancer amid a brutal genocide, Rewaa has developed new swelling in her neck. Doctors fear her cancer may be spreading. We are deeply worried. She is exhausted, in pain, and still waiting for evacuation. For six long weeks, her campaign was frozen under GoFundMe’s review, leaving her without the support she desperately needs. Now that the fundraising has resumed, donations haven’t picked up. We cannot let this family down. Whether Rewaa is able to evacuate or not, her family urgently needs financial stability. If her condition worsens, her sons Munir and Siraj will need care and protection. Right now, they are enduring famine. The family went a full month without flour and recently Mohamed managed to get only 2kg. Even when money can be withdrawn, high fees and soaring food prices make survival a daily struggle. They are starving. This campaign has been open for over a year. Rewaa has waited too long for treatment, for safety, for a chance at life. We don’t know how much longer she can hold on. I have been following this campaign for quite some time. Rewaa is my age and has two young sons. She is very sick and has had no access to proper treatment for 18 months. Her husband Muhammad is doing all he can for his family, but Gaza is under total siege and the situation is only getting worse.

Urgent Update: Total Blackout in Gaza — Rewaa and Her Family Are Cut Off and in Immediate Danger After nearly six weeks of being under review, Rewaa’s GoFundMe has finally been approved again. The platform had frozen $2,800, and we had to pause fundraising and weekly updates to avoid raising more money, because if GoFundMe had shut the account down completely, we risked losing even more funds. That meant donations slowed down significantly — the family didn’t stop receiving help entirely, but the support they usually receive has been severely reduced. We’ve now had no contact with Rewaa and her family for almost five days. The occupation bombed the communications center, cutting off internet to the north, and for the past two days, all of Gaza has been in complete blackout. We don’t know how they’re doing. We can’t reach them. This blackout is especially terrifying — usually, when the occupation cuts power and communication, it means they’re about to commit worse atrocities whilst preventing journalists and people from documenting it. The last time Rewaa was seen by her doctor, she had new swelling in her neck, and there are fears the cancer is spreading. Meanwhile, Gaza’s skyrocketing inflation means that half of whatever money the family receives is lost to the high interest rate upon withdrawal. The lack of food and resources is pushing the whole family toward starvation. This is all while being under constant heavy bombardment. It was only 2 weeks ago that a home next to theirs was bombed. – At least 48 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since dawn, including 33 people waiting for aid.

– Al-Awda Hospital reports 60 people wounded by occupation forces near the Netzarim Corridor aid distribution point.

– Israel continues bombing across Gaza, with occupation ground forces destroying what remains of homes and infrastructure in the north.

With everything going on, Gaza is being forgotten. The genocide has not stopped and the forced starvation, mass slaughter of civilians and destruction of homes and infrastructure continues.
