Whitlocktober- Day One: Decorating for Halloween
As I pulled Jasper by his hand behind me through the front yard, I felt so loved. I know Jasper didn’t care much for Halloween– but this was my favorite time of the year. I was pulling him to the car so we can go shopping to decorate the house for the spooky holiday.
“Calm down there, (Y/N), the store isn’t going anywhere,” he chuckled.
“Jas, I appreciate the input but honestly there is no absolute way to confirm that,” I giggle back at him.
He shakes his head and I pull a little faster now, as he thankfully lets me. We get in the car and head over to the store in high hopes of having the coolest house this Halloween. Thankfully, Esme and Alice were on board for the extravagant plans you’ve made thus far and agreed to help when the rest of the family returns from their hunting trip. As you get lost in your thoughts, Jasper begins to drive and before you know it, you arrive at the Halloween store in order to decorate this enormous house more than it ever has before. Your excitement was radiating off you so much that Jasper was beginning to laugh again.
“Listen here, don’t make fun of me because I like to have fun!”
“Darlin’, who says I’m making fun of you?” he says as he gives you a little smirk.
That smirk, it never failed to bring an intense blushing to your cheeks. Sometimes it was still so unreal that Jasper and you were bound to be together, you loved being his mate. Now you can just only count down the days until he changes you, to seal your forever timestamp permanently.
As time passed by, accompanied with some small talk later, we finally pulled into the store parking lot and I could barely contain my excitement enough to not jump out of the car too soon. Jasper parks the car and we go in enthusiastically, as he is thankfully enjoying and partaking in my positive energy. As we enter the store and choose the coolest decorations we can find, I feel a warm and loving sense wash over me. I feel so blessed to have found this man, as well as his entire welcoming “family.”
“I really love you too, doll.”
My cheeks immediately gained an immense warmth and pink tint, and I couldn’t stop the smile from creeping upon my face.
“Thank you Jas. For everything.” I truly meant that, he’s everything I could dream of and more.
His ice cold hand grabbed mine and brought it up to his lips, leaving a delicate kiss on my top knuckles. We finally load up the car and go home, listening to some calming music on our way home.
As we pull into the driveway we see an excited Alice, Esme, and even Emmett waiting to help. Emmett of course is more than willing to be the one to put the orange and purple lights up around the exterior of the house. Esme, Alice, and I set up the spookier lawn decorations up strategically to almost make the pathway to the house seem like a haunted walkthrough. It was coming together nicely, you were pretty much done thanks to the help of this supernatural family. Wondering where your boyfriend has departed off to, you begin to look around and find him putting fake spider webs in all of the trees surrounding the house. You smile up at him and he nods his head, inviting you over to him. It was getting dark and the lights on the house looked amazing.
You walk on over to him and he jumps down from the tree with his hands behind his back as per usual.
“Well hello there, darling.” He says extending his arms for you to enter his embrace.
“Hello love.” I say smiling.
“How would you like a quick tour, ya know from higher up?” He offers smiling graciously, offering a hand for you to take.
“Sounds great Jasper.”
“Hold on tight (Y/N).” You almost melt at the way your name rolls off his tongue. No matter how many times he’s said it, it always makes you feel like it’s a musical tune just for your ears only.
You hop onto his back and do as told. As you’re up in the enormous evergreen tree, life feels peaceful, it feels like heaven. No matter what was going on, Jasper’s arms felt like home and his soul was bound to yours forever. The gratitude you felt for him was immeasurable– and knowing he felt just as, if not more, intensely as you did was the most comforting thing on planet earth. You sit in his arms in these branches, head in his chest, almost falling asleep, unsure of what you did that made you deserve a partner as loving as him in your life.
“Let’s get you to bed, darlin’.” He says as he picks you up to get on his back before climbing down the tree gently.
After you get down the tree, he carries you against his chest into his room, placing you gently on the bed he got just to lay down with you, watching you and protecting you as you slept. His arms were home, and oh boy did you love your home.
“ I love you Jas.” I said sweetly, shutting my eyes and smiling.
“I love you too, goodnight (Y/N).” He sweetly says.
And as darkness crept through my eyes, my thoughts slowed, falling asleep to my lover’s voice. Everything is how it should be.

“we could have been happy. i know that, and it is perhaps the hardest thing to know.” ally condie
pairings: aaron hotchner x gender neutral ! reader
warnings: sad, deeply burdened aaron, unrequited love
word count: 1,954
author’s note: this started out one way, ended another… maybe a part two? also, to the anon that sent me a request- im working on it now !
You couldn’t quite recall how it had gotten to this point, your relationship with Aaron Hotchner.
You were a respite, someone outside of his job that was involved in his life. It began with a chance meeting at the grocery store, and a close friendship then blossomed quickly. You quickly learned the inner workings of him, how he operated, and how deeply he loved.
He always held the burden of the world on his shoulders. Furthermore, he would carry it without complaint, taking the weight as if it was light as air. It was admirable, of course, his self-sacrifice bringing comfort and ease to many people’s minds- most significantly, to his own team.
It wasn’t until a crisp, October night that you saw his resolve crumble.

I Should’ve Protected You
Pairing: Dean Winchester X Reader
Warnings: Cursing, alcohol consumption, slight mentions of torture, angst/fluff
Word Count: 1,854
Summary: Sam, reader, and Dean go on a hunt, but the reader gets a fairly serious injury, Dean is angry and blames himself for what happened.
A/N: This took hours to write, so I really hope you enjoy it! I would love requests and FEEDBACK here! Anything written in italics is a flashback. Seriously though, I would truly appreciate feedback! xx
Dean was more furious than you had ever imagined was possible. His jaw was clenched so tightly that his cheeks were quivering from the pressure. His knuckles were ghostly white from gripping the steering wheel so tightly. His face was stone cold and his eyes looked black by the way the shadows of the dark car casted on his face. No one dared to break this chilling silence, not you, not Sam, not even Dean had put on music for the two hour long car ride. No one dared to move so much as an inch for the fear of Dean finally losing his temper and exploding.
You had no idea that the hunt was going to go wrong. You didn’t know that you had fallen into a trap, how could you have? You thought everything was going according to the plan; you had no way of knowing that you were walking into a trap the second you split up and went on your own.
After what felt like an eternity of driving in tense silence, you finally arrived at the bunker and the second Dean had put the Impala in park, he was already out of the car, slamming the door so hard that the rest of the car shook from the impact. Dean hadn’t even looked in your direction since you had gotten in the car. Dean was already inside the bunker before you had even gotten your seatbelt off.
You sighed and began to get out of the Impala when a fiery pain seared throughout your ankle and your entire leg. Tears instantly brimmed your eyes as your body processed the pain. You gritted your teeth and squeezed your eyes shut as you let out a whimper of pain.
“Y/N, you can’t walk on your own.” Sam said sternly as he was instantly by your side, helping you out of the Impala so you didn’t have to put any pressure on your ankle.

Please Don’t Go
Pairing: Dean Winchester X Reader
Warnings: Cursing, angst
Word Count: 1,068
Summary: Dean and the reader are together but have been fighting a lot recently, they get into an argument and Dean says some things that he instantly regrets and begs the reader to stay with him. (Angst/ fluff).
A/N: This is my first imagine in a while, so I would greatly appreciate some feedback! I would also love for you guys to send some requests my way! Click here to do either! Hope you enjoy!
You and Dean had been together for about two years now, and things had always been incredible between the two of you. But recently, things were starting to change. It seemed like the two of you weren’t in sync anymore, like you were gradually drifting apart. You and Dean had begun fighting more often than not, and most of the time it was about something stupid or petty.
You walked into the kitchen and found Dean drinking a beer while doing some research on his computer; he glanced up and made eye contact with you, giving you a small nod. You sighed quietly to yourself and walked over to the fridge to look for something to make for dinner.
“Dean, are you hungry?” you asked while still looking in the fridge. There was a moment of silence as Dean continued looking on his computer instead of answering your question. You could feel yourself becoming slightly irritated and said loudly, “Hello? Dean? I said, are you hungry?” you placed emphasis on the last part of your sentence.
Dean glanced up at you with his eyebrow slightly raised and replied absently, “Yeah, I guess so,” as he turned back to his computer.
“Well I’m going to cook dinner, so what do you want to eat?” you asked, trying to keep the irritation out of your voice.
Once again, Dean chose not to respond to you, and instead kept his attention focused on his laptop. You waited for about a minute before your frustration got the best of you.
“Okay fine, just ignore me, don’t even worry about it.” You said loudly and began angrily grabbing ingredients from the fridge and slamming them on the counter.
“Oh my god.” You heard Dean sigh; you could practically hear his eye roll as he shut his laptop and turned to face you with his eyes closed while he pinched the bridge of his nose.

All Nighter
Pairing: Reader X Draco
Word Count: 1,209
Summary: Reader and Draco are best friends and spend a night together in the Slytherin Common Room where feelings develop; fluff
Warning(s): None
A/N: Feel free to send in a request guys, I love writing for you! Hope you enjoy! :)
Your name: submit What is this? document.getElementById("submit").addEventListener('click', function(){ walk(document.body, /\by\/n\b|\(y\/n\)/ig, document.getElementById("inputTxt").value); }); function walk(node, v, p){ var child, next; switch (node.nodeType){ case 1: // Element case 9: // Document case 11: // Document fragment child = node.firstChild; while (child){ next = child.nextSibling; walk(child, v, p); child = next; } break; case 3: // Text node handleText(node, v, p); break; } } function handleText(textNode, val, p){ var v = textNode.nodeValue; v = v.replace(val, p); textNode.nodeValue = v; }
You and Draco had been best friends ever since first year when you were both sorted into Slytherin. You and Draco were now in fifth year and had decided to go to Hogwarts a week before the term officially started, which meant that the two of you were the only ones in the Slytherin dorm rooms.
“Draco!” you yelled when you saw his platinum blonde hair about ten feet in front of you.
You saw Draco turn around, and smile widely when he saw you. Draco immediately began walking towards you and engulfed you in a big hug, picking you up and spinning you around as he said, “I missed you so much! You were supposed to come visit me at my manor for a few weeks. What happened?”
“My family decided to stay on vacation longer than we had planned, and they wouldn’t let me travel alone, so I couldn’t go visit you.” You said while rolling your eyes.
Draco nodded his head as the two of you continued walking towards the Slytherin Common Room, discussing what the two of you did over summer break.
When you got to the Common Room, you turned to Draco and said with a yawn, “I’m going to go take a nap before dinner, I’m freaking exhausted from the trip.”
“Alright, see you in a bit Y/N.” Draco replied.
You went upstairs and laid down on your bed, falling asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.
When you finally woke up it was already dark outside, you figured you had been asleep for at least three hours. You walked down to the Common Room and saw Draco sitting in an armchair beside the fire reading a book. The red and orange flames made Draco’s skin look even whiter than usual. You stood still for a moment, admiring how peaceful and charming Draco looked.
“What time is it?” You asked Draco softly, trying not to startle him.
Draco jumped slightly when he heard your voice but smiled when he saw that it was only you. He looked down at his watch and said, “It’s already almost nine.”
Your eyes opened dramatically and you looked at him in shock before exclaiming, “Nine!? Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?”
Draco looked at you with a smirk and said laughing, “I tried! But you were so passed out I’m not sure that even a dragon could have woken you up! You were snoring so loud I could hear you all the way down here, and there was a huge pile of drool on your pillow!”
You started laughing as you imagined how funny you must have looked while you were asleep. “Well I don’t think I’m going to bed anytime soon.” You joked while taking a seat next to Draco.
“We could pull an all-nighter.” Draco suggested.
“Yeah! It’ll be fun!” You said with excitement.
About four hours later you and Draco were not having fun with your all-nighter considering the two of you were both extremely exhausted, but neither of you wanted to be the first to admit that you wanted to go to bed.
“I’m going to go change into some pajamas.” Draco said with a yawn as he headed towards the Boy’s Dorm Room.
“Yeah me too, these robes are making my skin itch.” You said as you headed towards the Girl’s Dorm Room.
You were half way up the stairs when you heard Draco yell, “Y/N!”
“WHAT?” You yelled back.
“BRING YOUR MATTRESS DOWN THE STAIRS!” Draco shouted back at you.
You paused for a moment, wondering if you heard him correctly, “MY MATTRESS?” You clarified.
“YES!”
“uh, okaayy.” You mumbled to yourself.
After you made it back down the stairs with your mattress, you saw that Draco had made a makeshift fort with sheets magically draping around his mattress, snacks and drinks piled in a corner, and Christmas lights dangling around the sheets. The only thing that was missing was your mattress.
“Draco!” you exclaimed in shock, “This looks so amazing!” You said with a huge smile as you pointed your wand at your mattress, and magically dragged it towards the fort.
“Go big or go home, right?” Draco said with pride as he looked at the fort.
You both crawled into the little fort and laid next to each other on your backs, when you saw that Draco had even bewitched the inside of the fort so it seemed like you were looking up at the night sky.
“It looks so real.” You whispered as you reached your hand up, like you were trying to grab a star from the sky.
Draco stared at you for a moment, and suddenly began to see you in a way he had never seen you before. He marveled at your beauty and the aura of happiness that surrounded you. He smiled at the way your hair perfectly framed your face, and the way your eyes lit up when you were happy. He wanted nothing more than to stare into those eyes for the rest of his life. And in that moment, Draco felt that everything in his life had suddenly come together, and for every reason in the world at once, Draco realized that he was in love with his best friend.
You turned your head to look at Draco and saw that he was already staring at you. You gazed into his blinding blue eyes and felt everything that Draco had just felt. You continued staring at him, filled with a million things that you wanted to say, but couldn’t figure out how to put them into coherent sentences, and so you said nothing despite wanting to say everything.
You and Draco stayed staring at each other as everything around you faded away and time stood still as Draco lifted his hand to your face and softly caressed your skin, leaving goosebumps where his fingers once were. It seemed as though the two of you were in a trance, lost in each other’s eyes and the intense pressure of the emotions that had overcome you.
You slowly lifted your hand to Draco’s head and ran your fingers through his hair. Draco’s eyes softly closed and a small smile spread across his lips at your touch. He slowly opened his eyes and whispered as he stared into your eyes, “There’s so many things that I want to say to you right now, but there aren’t any words in existence that can captivate how I feel about you right now because I know that no one has ever experienced what we have in this moment.”
You didn’t want to cry, but tears began to fall onto your cheeks as you nodded your head to Draco, unable to find any words that could bring justice to this moment and how you felt for each other.
Draco smiled as tears of his own began to slowly fall, and he leaned into you and pressed his lips against yours. You closed your eyes and ran your fingers through Draco’s hair once again and you kissed him. Draco interlaced your fingers and continued kissing you, stopping only to catch his breath.
Draco looked at you and whispered, “I’m going to marry you one day Y/n.”
