📍 Camotes Island 🏝️
Camotes Island is a hidden gem located in the central part of the Philippines. It's a place where you can experience a peaceful and laid-back island life, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And what better way to enjoy this slice of paradise than by spending a long weekend exploring its pristine beaches, clear blue waters, and lush greenery.
The island is small enough to explore in just a few days, yet it offers a variety of activities that will keep you entertained throughout your stay. Here are some highlights from our long weekend in Camotes Island:
Day 1: We made Binignit - it is a traditional Filipino dessert that is commonly eaten during the Holy Week, especially on Good Friday.
Enjoyed the peaceful province life
We have also visited Azure Resort
Later that evening, we bonded with the locals and enjoyed the bonfire under the bright moon.
Day 2: We went to Tulang Diot Island. Tulang Diot boasts a stunning and pristine white sandy beach that is fringed by swaying coconut palm trees. The clear blue waters of the Camotes Sea gently lap at the shore, making it an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing.
Day 3: Back to reality. We had to head back to the City to hustle harder again. And for the first time ever I have finally experienced what being stranded felt like. Sleepless and long queue of passengers are all worth the experience we.
Camotes Island may not be as popular as other Philippine destinations, but its beauty and charm will surely capture your heart. It's a perfect getaway for those who seek peace, serenity, and adventure. So pack your bags and head to Camotes Island for an unforgettable long weekend.

I recently saw this post and it makes really great sense. To an overthinker like me this post gives me a relief and reassurance.

Celebration by the Beach
Alas! we were able to make some time to get a short get-away that’s been long overdue. We realized that we deserve to experience the beach as we have been working hard with our day jobs.
This weekend was also a celebration of Apa’s Birthday and to all the blessings and opportunities that God has given us. So we thought ‘celebration by the beach’ just fits right.
Mga bagong gising yarn? lol
Come night time after all of us took a nap to recharge, we decided to go where the night life at. Our weekend isn't complete without getting a taste of alcohol and getting drunk haha, so we went to Bhing KTV Lounge Bar & Restaurant.
The next day Michie has to head back to the City, while the four us went snorkeling.
Before heading back to the City, we dropped by the house of Joshua's aunt who's also the owner of the resort where we stayed in - Pacita's Bearch Resort - to bid goodbye and to thank her personally for the hospitality.

Significant person.
A dear friend of ours, Michie, from Phat Pho had this simulation for their about-to-open branch in Robinsons Galleria and we were invited to participate.
Josh and I both work during the day so we had to finish work first before going to Phat Pho. John, our other dearest friend, was supposed to be with us however he can’t let go of his work yet. So it was like a date for Josh and I.
The food was really great and tasty but what I enjoyed more was the chicken. It was so delicious. Josh and I both loved it.
The place was cozy as it was semi-fine dining - that’s we’ve been told. The staff were great and there was this one staff, her name was Charise. She was lively and personable.
Overall, it was a really great experience for Josh and I. Looking forward for more dinner with this amazing person whom I call my significant other.

Siblings. <3
Had the chance to catch up with my siblings last July 9th and I’m just posting it now. Lol!
One of the best day of My July. Our eldest visited Cebu. He invited me and our youngest to catch up. We had dinner at Casa Verde, chilled at Jubans, then karaoke at Music One. Before we bid goodbye to each other we went to Starbucks to get ourselves a coffee. And all expenses paid by our eldest.
