I had to do an art project in which I take a song and give it an album cover. This was also a first attempt at digital painting. All in all, I think I did well. Also, the lettering is my own handwriting because we weren't allowed to use fonts.

You know, this is why content creators end up abandoning their works, right?

80 likes compared to 10 reblogs means that only 12% of people decided that what you did is worth showing other people.

If you like the thing, reblog it. You don’t even have to add tags, just spread it so that a) other people can see it, and b) the creator gets recognition for what they did.

Obviously, those numbers are never going to match, but the divide should not be that huge.

It’s even more important right now, because tumblr is garbage and they’ve stopped allowing anything with an outside link from appearing in tags. Writers/artists cannot tag things to their twitter/store/writing website. That can cause a significant drop in views, especially for newer creators.

Like… we aren’t asking for much. A few reblogs. Reviews/comments. No creator should have to beg for that much.

y’all… u dont understand how much writing in the tags of someone’s creation means to them.. whether it’s fanart, a graphic, fanfic..,, there’s a 99% chance that person looks through their tags and a single opinionated comment in the tags can rlly brighten their day it’s just a rlly wonderful thing to see

Hi, I’m Mitzi and I’ve been working two jobs to afford rent for a while, on top of going to school full time. 

I’ve recently lost one of those jobs, and the 5-10 hour week I’m working now doesn’t cover my rent or bills. This is my first apartment after leaving a bad family situation; I’m rooming with three other people and it’s MILES better than the homophobia and threats of homelessness I grew up under. 

On top of going back being terrible for me physically and mentally, it’d mean I have to pay off student loan debt early that I can afford even less. Please, please consider helping me out. 

A full color, full body anything ranges as follows:  15$ Sketch, 25$ Simple flat, 40$ rendered piece. 

Prices drop by up to ten dollars for anything less than full body. Lineart is available as well. (IE: 5$ sketch, 15$ flat, 30$ Rendering.) Extra characters won’t double the price, but will be charged extra.
