Escape the Pizzaplex (New FNAF book)
So recently, a new listing on Bookmanager came up for a new FNAF: Interactive Novel book, the third (technically fourth) entry in the series.
This one is called "Escape the Pizzaplex", and the synopsis includes Cassie being trapped inside of the Pizzaplex and needing to escape.
Tumblr media
Does anyone else think this is maybe a bit strange? Cassie doesn't seem to fear the animatronics at all in RUIN, but she also has no qualms with running into an abandoned Pizzaplex to save her friend, so I suppose maybe she isn't all that unfamiliar with the Pizzaplex being dangerous. Besides- if she never gets caught, then why would she think they're trying to kill her? A very interesting book none-the-less.
This also oddly lines up with some of her thoughts about the daycare attendant AR items, and a cut line of Freddy talking about "lock-ins". (If your curious, it's apparently where they would have a sleepover in the Pizzaplex, while all the doors are locked. They had to be cancelled due to legal issues, apparently.)

As stated in image 2, the price for the steam version of myPOPGOES will be $4.99 / $3.99. Why is there a slash? Don't worry about it :) (I have no clue why)

Eight Nights at Freddy's.
Recently, the official FNAF twitter account announced that in the days leading up to the anniversary (August 8th), that starting August 1st, there would be a new FNAF based release each day. We have the schedule for the releases now, and it's REALLY good. The releases are:
August 1st- MyPopgoes, Full Game Release
August 2nd- The Joy of Creation (remake), Demo
August 3rd- VIP- Interactive Novel (free)
August 4th- Steel Wool Announcement
August 5th- Scott Cawthon Interview with Dawko 2.0
August 6th- ??? Collab Announcement
August 7th- Five Laps at Freddy's (by Clickteam), Demo
August 8th- Into the Pit, Full Game Release
(There may also be movie updates sprinkled in as well!)
This is honestly really cool, and it's awesome to see the anniversary get so much attention. I'm also personally happy about fanverse content being included, because there's lots of cool stuff going on there.
Also, if it matters... Fortnite has planned downtime on the 6th of August. I think I may know what the mystery collab is.

ALERT: INTO THE PIT IS IMMINENT!!
As of speaking, not long ago, Mega Cat Studios updated their Discord and Twitter to be themed after Pizza.
Now, as of writing this, 2 minutes ago, Mega Cat Studios announced "Into the Pepperoni" will be at the Guerilla Collective 2024 showcase tomorrow.
This is almost 100% a tease for the upcoming Into The Pit game we know they're working on, and it's likely they'll fake out with this "Into the Pepperoni" before revealing the true title. If this is the case, we very well could be getting even more information about Into The Pit, and perhaps even a release date (I'm betting August 8th).

Faz-Fact: Fazbear Enterprises
You may know about Fazbear Entertainment, but do you know about Fazbear Enterprises?
In Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, at the end of the completion ending Tutorial Unit informs us that we "will not need to come into work tomorrow, as Fazbear Entertainment is no longer a corporate entity." However, come Help Wanted, Fazbear Entertainment is the company making the VR game. How? Well, what if I told you Fazbear Entertainment ISN'T the parent company?
In Tales from the Pizzaplex #6, specifically in the story "The Mimic", we learn about how Edwin Murray sold his company to Fazbear Enterprises. This likely isn't a misinterpretation or mistake, as Fazbear Entertainment is mentioned just a few lines earlier, making it difficult to mess up.
Tumblr media
So, if F.E has a parent company, then it's easy to assume that after the events of FFPS, Fazbear Enterprises reformed F.E as a company. In fact, there is evidence for this. In all games before Help Wanted, F.E is referred to as corporation, meanwhile in the Balloon World arcade cabinet in Security Breach, F.E is referred to as Fazbear Entertainment LLC. That is a different company, solidifying the idea that F.E reformed.
That's all for today! And remember, we don't know if Fazbear Entertainment is the ONLY child company of Fazbear Enterprises!

Into The Pit: The Game: The Book.
Introducing Into The Pit, the... book?
Not long ago, we got our first look at a new series by Scholastic for FNAF, interactive novels. Working as a choose your own adventure story, the first one we got was called The Week Before, written by E.C Myers, it centered around Phone Guy's shift from FNAF 1, stated to be occurring the week before Mike's shift in FNAF 1.
Shortly after, we've gotten a look at the second book in this series, Return to the Pit. Return to the Pit really does seem to be just an interactive retelling of the Into The Pit story. Notably, it description claims that it's "just in time" for the 10th anniversary, which might mean it will release august 8th, the release date of FNAF 1.
Now, the weird part to me personally, is that we already have an interactive ITP coming out, the Into The Pit game that's supposed to release this year as well. So, whether or not this retelling will be consistent with the endings and story of the game, or if it will be another source of lore and endings.
One more thing to note is the books author- Adrienne Kress. Bendy fans will know her as the author of many Bendy books, and shes generally highly regarded in that aspect. I can't personally comment because I've never read any of the Bendy books, but I'm excited if it's getting ANOTHER whole community excited for this.
And lastly, here's a look at the official cover. Some people compared the springbonnie here to Scraptrap. That seems unintentional to me, but who knows.

Into The Pit: The Game.
I'm a bit late, but I want to talk a bit about the new game coming up.
A couple of months ago, scholastic posted an image of upcoming FNAF content, alongside a small footnote labelled "INTO THE PIT! -new game coming soon". Soon after, people found images in steam relating to a FNAF game labelled Into The Pit, and eventually through searching Mega Cat Studios website, they found a trailer for the new game.
Tumblr media
Eventually, Scott Cawthon confirmed in a reddit comment that the leaks were indeed real, and this is a new game that has been worked on for quite a while.
Tumblr media
So, what IS this game, and what is Into The Pit?
The trailer seems to depict a pixel art-style game based off of the Fazbear Fright's story of the same name, Fazbear Fright's: Into The Pit #1. It DOES seem to differ a bit in straight events, but it does seem to be the same general story. This is a first time for FNAF, having a game be ENTIRELY in pixel art rather than just a short segment, but I think it looks really good. Check out the trailer for yourself!
In case you have never read Into The Pit (spoilers ahead), it's a story about a young boy named Oswald who goes to a restaurant every day called Jeff's Pizza. This pizza place in question is actually a renovated version of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Eventually, bored from the lack of things to do in his town during summer, Oswald crawls into a dingy old ballpit quarantined off in the corner of Jeff's Pizza, and ends up reliving the memory of the missing childrens incident that occurred many years ago. Eventually, after witnessing what the yellow rabbit had done, he attempts to escape the ballpit, only for the rabbit to follow him out, and drag his dad into the ballpit. Afterwards, he seems to replace Oswalds dad, with no one else around him noticing. After a while back at school, he gains the courage to go back to Jeff's Pizza in the dead of night and rescue his dad. He pulls his dad out, and ends up getting in a fight with the yellow rabbit, who promptly ends up tangling itself in the ballpits netting and strangling itself.
Now, that's the original story, but this version of ITP seems to have a few notable differences, mainly people finding a teaser photo of Oswald at The Mill, a location in Fright's notable for being where The Agony is formed, a trash amalgamate controlled by Eleanor and William Afton. The fact that this area is never visited in the original story, but IS visited here might imply we'll get to see more of Fright's in this game then what we see in the book.
So, that's cool and all, but what does this mean for the lore?
Honestly not much? Besides confirming that the StitchlineGames theory is canon (for those uninformed, StitchlineGames is the theory that every story in Fazbear Fright's connected to the epilogues is canon and within the games continuity). This would also confirm that all stories in Tales from the Pizzaplex are canon. Which they are... because The Mimic appears in RUIN. What's interesting to me, however, is that Oswald's house looks exceedingly like the Afton's house from FNAF 4. That would explain why in the original story, Oswald draws characters from Freddy's before he ever first goes into the ballpit. If he lived in the Afton house, then the memories of Freddy's and Fredbear's would be affecting him and his mind, and explain why he draws them.
Another notable thing is it seems likely that this will be the game releasing for the 10th anniversary of FNAF. It makes sense, ITP seems like it's one of the stories Scott thinks is the most "FNAF" like in a sense. I also do like ITP a fair bit, so I'm not complaining. It should also be noted, however, that it's not confirmed if it will just be the story of ITP, as it could easily also include the stories of To Be Beautiful and Count The Ways, both stories from Fright's #1.
And lastly, here's a look at the official banner for the game!
