Great. Just another one of those cruel nights. For your own reasons, you always avoided sleep. Not that you were a creature of the night, but you aren't necessarily a day-walker, either.

Oh well, at least you're awake and alive... there are times where you can say that isn't the case. That's normal, though. It happens.

Now that you ARE awake...

Through the broken window of your "home," you can tell dawn was creeping in ever so slowly. The strange birds outside began their usual, rather annoying serenade. It's a clear day.

Maybe that's your sign to stay awake. Otherwise, you would have just lied back down, said "fuck it," and succumbed to the cumbersome ritual that was sleep - and the constant nightmares that came with it.

That's a problem to be dealt with another day, you suppose.

So, now what? You're awake, and yet, something in your mind begs you to do something. For some strange reason, you can't help but decide to follow that thought...
