Forgot where I came across this, but today (3/9) is ミクの日 or Miku Day apparently LOL. That's because ミ(mi) is read the same as 三, which is the number 3 in Japanese, and ク (ku) is read the same way as 九 which is the number 9 in Japanese. So today is Mi (三) Ku (九) day or 3-9 day, harr harr~ Anyways, I based my drawing of Miku on Tetsuya Nomura's design of her, creepy big anime android eyes included lol. I read somewhere that Luna's hairstyle was made to look like it would need the assistance of a handmaiden, so as to reflect her nobility. My favorite part of Nyx's design is those purple ribbons that hang off his jacket ;u;. I may or may not have watched Kingsglaive for like the 300th time yesterday >____<. . Can you tell I watched Omen way too any times? >____<. Drew Noct half-naked for science --I mean, anatomy practice (so science??). Of all the times to finally get his face shape right, it was this LOL. As a self-taught artist, I still have a lot to learn. Gave the inking pen a break today and decided to do some pencil sketching practice by drawing Gladio. Literally everything about his character design is very opposite from what I normally draw of characters, so drawing him was a good challenge! I'm super excited for Episode Gladiolus to come out >___<. . I've been working on a larger project lately, so I've been turning most of my attention towards that.
