This Quote is so beautiful i’m in love with this;
“when you get what you want, that's Allah's(ﷻ) direction. when you don't get what you want, that’s Allah's (ﷻ) protection.”

“Pray for others. Pray when you feel hopeless. Pray when you feel hopeful. Pray under all circumstances. Prayer is powerful. Pray and let the Almighty do the rest. He’s Omnipotent. He knows. He hears. He sees. He cares. You’re never alone. He’s always there for you.”

“One of shaytān’s traps is to encourage a person to excessively doubt their sincerity. We can never be sure of how sincere we are and it is important to not become complacent or overconfident but also to have balance. We are taught to work on our sincerity but not to let our self-doubt debilitate us. A practical way to assess our sincerity is to look at the consistency in our actions. Does our commitment waiver when we don’t get the results that we want? Or is it stable? Allah is always there. We always have the opportunity to direct our actions and worship to Him and so achieving stability in our worship is akin to achieving sincerity.”

“And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, ‘Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.’”

We have this constant hope that something out there will make us happy. And yet the Quran keeps saying again and again, there is nothing that will make you happy except the remembrance of Allah (swt). Why? Because We have wired you, We know exactly what it is you need, and We are telling you, your only cure is Allah (swt). Unless you connect through Him, you can keep running after things until your last day, and on your death bed you will realise that there was nothing that could’ve made you happy, except knowing Allah (swt). That is inner happiness and inner stillness.
— Khalil Jaffer
