Meet The Orion Buckle, an Acid/Prog Rock band from the 90s. The last anyone ever heard of them, they were playing a show at the local radio station. The transmission went weird, and then the signal went silent.

Thanks to a combination of supernatural forces and a poorly-done spell by Indigo (last one on the right), they are trapped in a pocket dimension.

A new oc! Meet Genesis.

A creative collaboration between Dermis (the Undead) and O'Malley (the young scientist), Genesis is a sort of a mix between a Frankenstein's Monster and a cyborg. He's the newest member of Dermis's family (Dermis keeps collecting kids). Wide-eyed and curious, he tries to keep a chipper attitude. However, he hides a buried feeling of inadequacy and the question of whether he might one day accidentally turn on his creators, friends, and family. But it should be alright, he says. He hopes...

A little heads-up:

Mind Monday will now be every other week instead of every week. I've been struggling with motivation and ideas, and the posts haven't been getting the same amount of engagement that they used to. Either way, I don't feel as much connection to the source material as I used to, and my hyperfixations have most certainly shifted.

I'll still keep doing the Mind Mondays, just not as often.

In the meanwhile, I'm going to try to embrace my other hyperfixations a bit more freely. (I have to remind myself that I can do whatever I want to with this blog).

I wish people would understand that not everything is for everyone to get. you will be left out of some conversations, a lot of art will not apply to you, you will not like things that people you like enjoy, and just because you cannot add to the topic of discussion or relate does not mean that it is not valued or worthwhile. the internet has coddled people to such a concerning extent that everyone feels like they need to vocally disagree with something just because they don’t get it. Knowing something, and genuinely getting it are not the same. NOT EVERYTHING IS FOR YOUUUUU
