Hello! I'm Phantom. I'm a Salem local and I've made this blog to talk about some of the best, worst, and middle of the earth places in Salem, as well as just talk about things I like and don't like.

Hello!
Welcome to the Phantom Apothecary! A place for all things Salem, MA! As a local for 20+ years, I've learned a thing or two about this area, and I want to share it with everyone!
Here's a bit about me, Phantom👻!
I'm a student in journalism and marketing, as writing is one of my passions. While studying, I'll use this as a resume builder to showcase what I learn, how I write about things, etc.
I've lived in and around Salem throughout my entire (albeit not that long) life.
I've worked the "spooky season" for 7+ years, most of which was in a haunted house.
I'm a queer person, so Salem Pride was one of the first places I felt at home.
I have a serious caffeine problem.
So what's this all about?
I'm incredibly nosy and opinionated. I have a lot of thoughts and rather than info-dumping constantly I figured I'd start a blog to document said opinions. While not EVERYTHING will be specific to Salem, I aim to keep things to the North Shore area, as that is what I'm familiar with.
I might also sprinkle in some other reviews as well- depending on how often I get out. While I have already been to many places in Salem (and the North Shore), I'd like to keep things current!
I hope to post at least once a week, maybe twice depending on how ~spicy~ I'm feeling.
If you have questions I am always happy to answer!
~Phantom 👻
