‘.✧Fantastical Whims Legacy Challenge✧.’

Have you been struggling with new ideas for your sims? Are you tired of making sims just to not play with them? Or maybe you just want something new?

Either way this challenge is for you!

Rules: Money Cheats ARE ALLOWED! (but not excessively) You may get a “loan from the bank” here and there but never motherlode. You may also use free real estate but only for generation one.

PS: Feel free to add any storyline you feel fits. This challenge is meant to expand the way you play, and open you up to new gameplay ideas. This challenge is not to restrict you. Overall this is YOUR GAME!

You may play on any lifespan you choose.

GENERATION ONE:

The Most Beautiful Thing we Can Experience.. is The Mysterious.

Ever since you we’re a little kid, you’ve always been the competitive type.. Nobody ever wanted to play with you because you’d always make it a big deal if you lost. Let’s be honest, you were a little bit of a sore loser, but after all that you’ve learned to lay back and relax for once..

You’re now a writer with a dream to have a big family.

You never had luck with relationships…

So you often try to avoid them.

You move to a new town. You were ready to give up your dream and live a single life alone in a quiet town, with normal friends and a normal job… Until..

You stumble across someone who catches your eye. They’re perfect. You two end up falling in love. This changed your whole outlook on life. You no longer wanted to spend your life alone, you now wanted this person to live it with you. There’s only one thing..

THEY’RE AN ALIEN!?

After finding out your lover’s secret. It only brought you closer to them. You knew there was something special about them. Even with their secret you find them just as perfect as before. The two of you are unstoppable.

You later find yourself with a large alien-hybrid family. The perfect family. Everything is looking up for you now.

- Complete Big Happy Family Aspiration.

- Complete the Writer Career. (Either Branch)

- Have 4-5 Children.

- Have a Hobby of Your Choice.

- Name a Book After Every Child. (ex. if you have a child named Juniper their book may be called “Juniper on Jupiter”.)

Your household as a child was always packed with loud kids, your parent’s conspiracy theories, and your own thoughts.. All at once!

You’d always try and escape to your room right after school to do your homework, play dress up, and decorate houses in ‘simsforever’.

Even though your childhood home was full of chaos, you loved every moment. Out of everyone in your household, you were the one with the best style! You always knew how to match different patterns, fabrics, and colors together..

It felt like it came naturally to you.

When you reached young adulthood you took style to a whole new level!

YOU BECAME A STYLE INFLUENCER.

There’s always new ideas clicking in your head, so you decided that THIS WAS YOUR PASSION! Not some boring school work, where the professors force assignments and tests on you! This way you didn’t need school to make money, you didn’t have to worry about your parents having to pay for your college because you found your calling!

Ever since you can remember, you’ve always been the black sheep of your family.. You were always alone. After school was the only time you socialized.. This was because you were in scouts and loved talking to the other kids about plants, hiking, and running away to live in the forest..

They never believed you’d actually do it..

But you did.

After one big argument with your sibling, you run away! Into the forest, there’s nothing but fresh air and trees surrounding you. You finally had peace and quiet, well… besides those darn crickets! It’s official..

YOU’RE A RUNAWAY TEEN, but this doesn’t scare you..

Being one with nature is your dream so being stranded in the middle of the woods doesn’t seem that bad. You come across a shop down in the little town buy yourself a little tent, and a cooler! You are set for survival.

- Eventually Move Back to Home Town in a Large Family Home.

GENERATION FOUR:

True Love.. Isn’t Always in the Form of Romance..

Growing up you admired your parents. They had something that you longed for, they had true love. Something that you thought you couldn’t find.

It’s not because you’re so boring no one wants to date you.. It’s the exact opposite, you’re a charismatic, video game loving, hopeless romantic.

You could never find someone to make you smile as big as your parents made one another. Maybe you’re being too harsh on them..

Or maybe romance just isn’t in the cards for you. You often spend your time on dating apps looking for the right one to settle down with..

One day while scrolling on Simder, you find someone that strikes your attention. You end up going on a date with them to a bar.. One thing leads to another and you two are now back at your place..

The next morning you wake up and something’s not feeling right.. You feel lightheaded.. You take a few tests…

YOU’RE PREGNANT!

What’re you going to do? Are you going to form a deeper connection with the parent of your child? Become a single parent? Co-Parent?

Will you even tell them that you’re pregnant!? The choice is yours.

Remember, true love isn’t in the form of romance. It can be the love a parent feels for their bundles of joy.

GENERATION FIVE:

If it’s Not Perfect it is Imperfect.. But Imperfect is Good Enough.

From the outside looking in, everyone thought your family was picture perfect. You and your siblings were popular at school and your parents were well known.

Yeah yeah everything looked perfect.. but it wasn’t.

Your house was always messy; with your parent’s tracking paint through the house, your siblings throwing footballs, plus your pets leaving footprints all over your carpet! It was all so hectic..

Especially since you were the one that cleaned it all up. You didn’t mind though, you enjoy cleaning. You also enjoy cooking and baking.

It makes you the happiest.

Dating hasn’t been the easiest for you. Let’s be honest it hasn’t been the easiest for your whole family. Most of the people you dated in the past hate how neat you are, they loved calling you a neat-freak.

This was until you came across a sim who is your exact opposite.

One Thing I’ll Say About Stardom.. It Gave Me Everything I Wanted.

You’ve always been inside. You rarely ever leave the house because of your parents! They don’t want you to get hurt or “fall into the wrong crowd”

They think that you’re still a baby. You’re not a kid anymore. You get to make your own decisions and nobody gets to tell you anything!

Little did your parents know you’ve been saving money from your secret babysitting job. One day, you just up and left, you ran away to a beautiful city by the name of Del Sol Valley!

Where all dreams come true!

You were finally free! You love your parents, but being inside that home at all times was torture. You felt so angry looking outside your bedroom window seeing other kids play, other parties go on down the street, and just overall fun!

Even though you couldn’t touch it..

You wanted it! You wanted to be out there, you wanted to be seen!

So now’s your chance! You started out with a few commercials, and singing at karaoke bars for fame. You later started getting gigs from actual performing arts corporations! Later down the line you climbed up to the top.

Now you’re living the dream!

Love is So Hard.. That’s What Makes it Interesting..

Being the child of a A-lister celebrity is fun yes.. but it’s hard being in your parents shadow. Sometimes your parent would take you out on meet and greets with them and all the kids would hang out with you and tell you how much they loved you and your parents. You loved the attention, but the attention wasn’t for you and it wasn’t love..

It was just greedy fan-girls obsessing over your family but not for the right reasons. You just wanted love.. which is weird because you are the worst at flirting.. sometimes it even makes you frustrated.

When you were a child your parents took you to Sulani, a beautiful place with lots and lots of water. You loved swimming! When your parents use to take you, all you remember is looking out of your window and seeing these beautiful tails pop out of the water..

You believe they were mermaids but everyone else tells you that your delusional. So..

When you hit young adulthood you take a plane with a little bit of your parents fortune and head to Sulani, you want to prove to your family and everyone else who doubted you that these majestic creatures exist!

Your siblings always mock you, they love to call you Ariel… you get it? Because you’re a mermaid hybrid..

Anyways, they make fun of you because you believe in happy endings and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

They don’t think it’s realistic, but you know it can happen for you. You spend most of your time in the lab, running tests, and hypothesizing.

You’ve always been the odd one out in your family, you’re parents say your gifted but your siblings just say your lame. Who cares what they say anyway.. Your family has a history of getting caught up in their job, that’s sometimes a good thing..

but most times it’s a bad thing!

That’s not you though, you know how to handle both family and work. You’re actually really good at it! Scientist during the day, surrounded by family during the night! Until…

You suddenly realize that your spouse has been a little distant for the last few months… but why?

Well, you found out why.. Are you happy you found out? Yes and no..

You’re happy you found out that your spouse was cheating on you because, you’re still surrounded by family and you have let go of that dead weight!

Will you ever get married again? Probably not.. But you will always be with your beautiful family..

In the original version of The Little Mermaid, Ariel needed a Prince Eric.. but you don’t.. You have your family. At least some of your family..

After your siblings death, you felt lost.

What were you supposed to do without them? They were your bestfriend.

Your teen years were nothing but parties, failing grades and multiple relationships. Ever since your sibling died it motivated you to do more with your time that you have.

You prove everyone wrong my maintaining the party life and your career.

You eventually find love, settle down and raise a family….. That was until..

Your spouse died too.

You were left taking care of your children on your own and making it work. Your children could tell you were struggling, but you still put on your best face.

I mean, you are a comedian after all. You started telling jokes once your sibling passed away. It helped you cope with the pain. Now that your spouse is dead.

Life is Like a Puzzle… and I’m Still Putting Mines Together.

Ever since you can remember you’ve always been able to do anything you put your mind to. You are extremely intelligent.

Even though you’re very smart.. You have no idea what to do in life..

What career path do you want to be on? How many kids do you want? Will you get married. You don’t even know what you enjoy doing most.

You like pretty much everything and it’s hard to make a decision.

So why not do it all?

You develop skills and knowledge for pretty much everything. You love all sorts of activities. One thing you’re still trying to navigate is your love life.

You have a soft spot for children and want to have some of your own someday. You just cannot find someone to give you your dream.

So you take matters into your own hands.

You look into an adoption agency. You end up adopting three children.

Not all at once of course..

You stumble across someone while you’re at one of your toddlers daycare.

This person already has a child, but that doesn’t bother you. You two end up blending your families and even another little addition.

The Garden: A Legacy Challenge Version 2

Hi guys, and welcome to my first ever Legacy Challenge! I spent an hour or so writing this up quickly because I was feeling creative! I hope this challenge might seem fun to some of you, fun enough to pick it up and play it! Please tag me if you’re starting it, and use the tag #garden legacy if you post pics! So, without further delay, here we go!

The Garden Legacy Challenge is a challenge carried out across 10 generations of your Sims family of choice. This introduction to the challenge can only be used as a guideline if you wish, as I’d love for you to express your creativity by using this as a template. Please, sit back, relax and enjoy playing the game! :)

Rules:

Money Cheats are NOT allowed

Aesthetic CC and poses are FINE

Needs must be on decay AT ALL TIMES

Feel free to pause ageing ONLY FOR STORY PURPOSES

Your Sims must live on the SAME LOT for the whole 10 generations. A larger lot is recommended

Any world is fine

You may edit what your Sims look like in CAS if they fugly

Information:

Your entire 10 generations will be named after various plants you could find or have in your garden. This is inspired by the fact that your Sims will have a love for nature throughout all 10 generations, living their life on the family farm. Each generation also has a berry colour in case berry simmers would like to enjoy the challenge too!

Generation 1: ROSE

Traits: Ambitious, Loves the Outdoors, Vegetarian

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist

Berry Colour: Red

Information: This is the founder of your legacy! From living their entire childhood in the smelly and loud city, they have decided to begin a new lifestyle in the countryside. They dream of running a farm to support the generations to come.

Rules:

Compete the Aspiration

Have at least 2 children

Have 1 dog and 1 cat

Collect every base game plant

Reach level 10 of the Gardening career

Care for at least 2 cowplants throughout your life

Max out the friendship level with at least one bee hive

Reach level 10 of the gardening skill

Reach at least level 5 in: cooking, parenting and handiness

Generation 2: DAISY

Traits: Outgoing, Good, Self Assured

Aspiration: Friend of the World

Information: You were always the class clown, getting in trouble all the time. You pulled endless amounts of pranks on your siblings and parents. You never want to grow up.

Reach level 10 in the Entertainment Career: Comedian Branch

Reach at least level 7: charisma and mischief

Run a club called the Pranksters

Use a Voodoo Doll on your spouse at least 10 times

Information: Your parents were born entertainers, they lived to be on the stage. you share their talents but you are very shy and reserved. However, you still dream of being a well known and respected musician.

Information: You grew up confused and conflicted about your parent’s relationship. This made you a troubled child who had to visit many therapists and doctors. You found comfort in video games and rely on the throughout your life.

Naturally progress into the overweight section

Reach skill level 10: video games and programming

Information: After watching your parent struggle with health problems due to being overweight, you vowed to keep yourself and your own children healthy.

Do not feed the children unhealthy food or snacks

Generation 9: SNAPDRAGON

Traits: Foodie, Athletic, Insider

Information: You grew up being pushed to your limits and you loved every second of it. You love exercise and cooking and want to make your two hobbies work well together. You enjoy using fresh food found on your families farm.

Reach level 10 in the Athletic Career

Reach level 5 in the Cooking Career

Reach level 10: fitness, cooking, baking and wellness

Reach level 5: gourmet cooking

Marry another Foodie

Have triplets (once again, cheats are allowed for this)

Generation 10: HYDRANGER

Traits: Materialistic, Hot Headed, Perfectionist

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Berry Colour: Light Blue

Information: You finally decide that your family is worth more than living on a farm forever. It’s time for your legacy to move on. You want to move out into a penthouse in the city and create an exciting future for generations to come.

Complete the Aspiration

Marry someone wealthy and living in the City

Reach level 10 in the Business Career

Reach level 10 in 3 skills of your choice

Throw a party every weekend + every holiday

The generation (and challenge!) finished once you have completed the rules to generation 10! It’s up to you if you continue by moving your Sim to San Myshuno or stop there! the zodiac legacy challenge

info:

this challenge spans over 5 generations but feel free to stop whenever you’d like or continue onto making your own gens with the left out signs

ofc i’ve only used 5 signs so im sorry if yours is left out, it wasnt for any reason

some of the traits might seem a little “off” because i tried to not use the same trait twice and so went for something close but not exactly correct

i’ve planned another 5 gens to make the legacy a full 10-gen legacy but i’ll see how this is taken first!

rules:

your sims can look however you like

all cheats are allowed apart from giving your household extra moneys (yes even free real estate, but ONLY when moving heirs or giving siblings/parents new houses, not in the middle of a generation for a bigger house)

each generation should be completed before moving your heir (or previous heirs) out

gen 1: aries

your sim has come from a wealthy family that lived in willow creek. they ran a factory that brought in heaps of money. however, after your father passed away, and your mother became ill, the business fell into bankrupcy. unable to work due to caring for your mother, and being an only child, you struggle imesnley with money. when your mother passes away, you miss her greatley, but also feel a massive weight lift from your shoulders. you can finally live your life again. you decide to start fresh in a new city and dream of living the luxurious life that your parents had.

traits: hot-headed, confident, snob aspiration: fabulously wealthy

make one (1) young adult sim, male or female

move them into the city into a tlc aparment: unfurnished!!

use the cheat: testingcheats on, and then, money 5000 to set your household funds to 5,000 simoleans. these funds are your starting amount to decorate your house and give your sim their basic needs.*

your goal is to do anything and everything you can in order to make money… within reason

this includes your day job in the business career (either branch) up to level 10

you should have 1 enemy that is a co-worker

you should marry a co-worker and be married as an adult

once you marry your co-worker you are allowed to swap their job

if they stay in the business career try to have them choose different branches

you have 2 children as an adult

you must reach level 10 handiness and charisma

you must complete your aspiration

you must collect all snow globes

you may not move out of san myshuno but you can change apartments

*this took forever to work for me! i dont know what i did to make it work. i tried simply typing money 5000 so many times (which is what you’re supposed to do), then tried sims.modify_funds-5000, which didnt work, then sims.modify_funds - “money amount” without the quotation marks and then FINALLY simply typing in money 5000 worked! so idk if theres a need for sims.modify_funds to be entered before typing in money 5000??? who knows.

I’ve been working on this for a very long time, so let me just welcome you to my challenge. While playing some old challenges like Not So Berry and the 100 Baby Challenge, I realized that I have some ideas for a challenge myself. That’s how I came to create The Chromatic Legacy Challenge, and I’m excited to share it with everyone! This is a VERY colorful challenge that’s updated to May of 2021. This challenge is designed to get the very best out of the Sims 4, and I hope you like it! There are 15 beautiful generations with certain requirements to complete their generation! See how long it takes you to complete all the generations. When looking at the rules, if there are asterix’s next to a requirement, scroll to the bottom for more information! These generations require most of the sims 4 packs, so be prepared! Tag me at or @starrynightsimblr to share your beautiful creations with me! Thanks so much for playing, hope you have fun!

RULES FOR ALL GENERATIONS

-Like other colorful challenges, it is required that the hair, makeup, clothes, and house of your heirs ARE the color of the generation (which is listed in the rules of each generation) but skin tone can be a natural color

-Money cheats are not allowed! Promotion or skill cheats are also not allowed.

-The only kinds of cheats that are allowed are cheats that influence a babies gender/number and (if you wish) or need cheats.

-Script Mods are suggested, like MCCC, Slice of Life, and Wonderful Whims. To make it easier for the color part of the challenge, Custom Content is also suggested to make your gameplay more *bright and sparkly*

-Its suggested that no one else in the gamesave other than your chromatic family are color based. The idea if the challenge is there is this one crazy family that is color based and no one else is. In addition, spouses should not be based on colors because of this.

-You have to complete the requirements for all 15 generations to officially complete this challenge. Tag me on instagram @elyseeriksen with a picture of all of your generations in cas, and another picture of all your generations in CAS. You grew up in a poor home with your parents, searching your couch cushions for money. After your parents die, you have nowhere left to go but a small lot next to your old family home. Your parent’s old home where you learned to train and take care of animals was bulldozed in a unexpected event, and now all you can hope is that you can build a veterinary clinic on top of the foundation of the remains of your childhood home.

- Starts life in an empty lot without any more than 20,000 pounds.

You grew up with a loving family, and never had any reason to doubt yourself. You respect your family’s vet business but strive for something else. You’ve always been good at using technology and getting along with others. You are so excited for your future and can’t wait to become a parent. Your parents lend you some money and off you go to start a new life in the city- but things didn’t exactly go as planned. Your apartment is smaller than it looked on the House website, and your hopes are skyrocketing down. When you’re about ready to give up, you get an opportunity to be a secret agent for a company you only heard about in movies.

-must complete the computer whiz and super parent aspirations. Part of the computer whiz aspiration is getting to level 3 of the tech guru career. You must cheat this as part of the challenge, as this sim is not in the tech guru career

GENERATION THREE: cherry🍒

You can’t remember a time in your life without someone by your side. Ever since you were a child, you knew that forever you and your best friend would stick together for your whole lifetime. You are an aspiring actor, and a wonderful comedian - and your best friend… is not. You set off to Del Sol Valley the moment you turn 21 to pursue an acting career, leaving your friends and family behind.

-must complete the master actor and joke star aspirations. Part of the joke star aspiration is getting to level 3 of the entertainer career. You must cheat this as part of the challenge, as this sim is not in the entertainer career

-Be best friends with someone during childhood and teenhood. Grow apart during your young adulthood, and marry them in your adulthood

-Never date until you start dating your childhood best friend during your adulthood

-Move to Del Sol Valley when you age up into a young adult

You have always been proud of your parent, a successful actor who taught you to be the best you that you can be. Ever since you were a child, you’ve been playing all the instruments and making music. You struggle with love, and you just want to meet your special someone. Playing music for money outside of your apartment, you start your path to becoming a famous musician.

-Max three of the following skills: singing, dance, guitar, violin, piano, or DJ mixing.

GENERATION FIVE: rose gold💝

Unlike the rest of your family, who all aspire to be in the spotlight, you are unsure of what you want to do with your life. Being a barista and milking cows is the only thing you can think to do to support yourself. You always had a knack for the creative arts and seem to get along really well with llamas and bunnies, but never knew how to put that into a job. Finally, after long days of research, you decide to open your own retail store to sell your works- with a farm to support you at home.

You’re a photographer and mischievous partier at night, but you try to keep your persona clean as you head into your job as a business person.

You, yourself, want to have a big family while also juggling school and your dreams to become a famous criminal. When you become a teenager, you can’t shake the urge to meet your grandparents. You show up at the door of your grandparents’ doorstep looking for help following your dreams. But things don’t go as planned, and soon you have to be a young parent, too. Left with no other choice, you take up a career in critiquing work to support your small family. You fall in love with your child at first glance and you want the best for them, but you can never stop thinking about your hopes and dreams of being a deviant criminal.

Aesthetic Legacy Challenge

If you love Aesthetic and want to play with rules that match each generation, this is the perfect challenge for you, this is the Aesthetic Challenge in it you will play with ten generations (five extras if you want)

It’s just a game with rules based on stereotypes, so I’m sorry if I offend someone, I didn’t mean to

Basic Rules:

The extra five generations are optionals and you can organize the way you want within the challenge ( for example put “indie” between gen 2 and 3) be creative!!

Partners don’t have to be the same aesthetic

Money cheats can be used but don’t abuse it, you can use it to buy the required shell from the first generation

you should only complete the aspiration and career when it is necessary in the generation

Generation One: Dark Academia

Since you were a child you were always the type who spent all day in the library, always very organized and worried about the future, your parents died when you were a baby so you always tried to be the best at all to make them proud. To relax you love baking sweets for your friends, who are few, but the best; for you romance only existed in books, but deep down you always knew that you wanted someone like you, who might even be able to accompany you in the early morning readings.

Since you’ve been a child, you have a reading group that you meet weekly and make everything for every detail come out perfect, you just can’t avoid it, another thing you can’t avoid is feeling angry with a certain person, but is it really angry or is there anything else there?

Traits: Perfectionist, bookworm, insider

Not So Flower Legacy Challenge Gen I

Not So Flower is a revamp of lilsimsie’s Not So Berry Challenge. It makes use of occult sims (vampires, mermaids and spellcasters) and all Sims 4 dlcs released until the 6th of November 2021.

Dandelion Generation {White and Yellow}

Your parents were hardworking salarypersons at Farseer Data Corporation. When you and your twin became teenagers, your parents took you on a climbing expedition to Mt. Komorebi. Unfortunately, you were caught by an unforeseen avalanche. You and your twin were badly injured and were taken to the local hospital. It took the rescue team one week before they found your parents. Sadly, they didn’t make it.

Your mother’s older sister offered to take care of you with the condition that you moved in with her to Windenburg. You and your twin were reluctant to leave the beauty of Mt. Komoreby behind, but the prospect of a fresh life seemed to be just what you needed to help cope with your loss.

Gameplay:

Make a household with twins and their aunt.

Play both twins until young adult. They will have different traits, aspirations and part-time jobs depending on the colour chosen:

White Dandelion Twin:

Aspiration: Musical Genius

Traits: Lactose Intolerant, Erratic, Family-oriented

Part-time job: Lifeguard

Yellow Dandelion Twin:

Aspiration: Self-Care Specialist

Traits: Clumsy, Loner, Ambitious

Part-time job: Fast Food Employee

You can only choose the heir out of the twins once you’ve finished both Aspirations (ideally before the twins become young adults).

The heir will move back to Mt. Komorebi (perhaps due to nostalgia?) to peruse a career as an Interior Decorator.

Heir must mourn parents at least once during the Festival of Light.

The Delightful Desserts Legacy Challenge

A generational challenge based on the aesthetics of different milkshakes, sundaes and desserts! this challenge doesn’t require lots of different expansions in order to play, but will definitely need city living and some will require: get to work, get famous (and maybe parenthood) - but can be tailored to your specific set of expansions, as you so wish!

See General rules & author notes below cut!

Gen 1: Vanilla Bourbon

Ahead into a bright new future, or well, maybe just a modest future, as since you left home as soon as you could to escape to the big city, fame is just a far-off dream - it’d be good if it happens but you don’t hold out for it; instead you fall in love with being in the city, taking the good with the bad and get to know every part of it (when you’re not working hard).

Aspiration: City Native Traits: neat, creative, good

requirements:

must move into ‘needs TLC’ apartment first (& stay there until becoming an Adult)

cannot get cleaning or repair services when in the TLC apartment, household members must repair items themselves (and can complain to landlord)

max singing & another creative skill of choice

Reach lvl 5 of 3 different other skills

have career as a part-time barista or retail worker (can shift between the two, but can only get a better paid job/career once aged up to adult)

must complete ¾ of aspiration (completion is optional)

meet/romance future spouse at one of the festivals

collect snow globes

have only 1-2 children

have children reach lvl 3 in toddler skills and gain Bs or higher before aging up

spouse can either have a job OR be a full-time ‘house-spouse’ and only maintain house and family needs (aka: cannot make money from self-employment endeavours or scavenging) - must choose either option once spouse is moved into legacy household/marries ‘vanilla bourbon’

Gen 2: Chocolate Brownie

You grew up poor, but your situation improved as you got older, you feel like you know the city and you want to improve it further! You become an activist as soon as you become a young adult. Though you have a passion & causes, you have also become accustomed to the city lifestyle, you have always thrown wild parties even as a teen, and it has no signs of stopping as you reach adulthood, either - maybe you should feel a little bad about it, but then again everyone needs a little fun every now and again, right?

Aspiration: party animal Traits: outgoing, vegetarian

requirements:

master politics career, choose the 'charity organiser’ branch

max charisma & mixology skills

complete aspiration

have good relationship with siblings (if they have any)

make 4 good friends

have one BFF

have one party that ends with a fight (legacy/heir sim doesn’t have to be involved in fight, it just has to happen at their party)

become pregnant from a one night stand with someone you met at a party

Gen 3: Banana Split

You were from a slightly frantic family life, being raised by a single parent in the city you were always just one in a crowd, but you wanted to make it big! You want to be admired! If anyone was gonna be able to reach fame in this family, it’d be you. You moved to del sol to follow those dreams and make it reality.

Aspiration: world famous celebrity traits: ambitious, self-absorbed

requirements:

Choose one of these 3 careers: style influencer, actor, social media

master career of choice

move to del sol valley

max charisma and one other skill related to career

complete aspiration (reach 5 star celebrity status)

marry a celebrity

divorce & remarry during adulthood (can be same sim or a different sim, second spouse isn’t required to be a celebrity)

make 1 enemy

Gen 4: Salted Caramel

Your parents never had much time for you, one parent you didn’t get on with, the other doted on you, but mostly with gifts. You were pushed to excel from an early age, and you did, but - you wanted something other kids had but you didn’t, so instead you got the itch now and again to swipe something, whether big or small, you just can’t help it, but you strive to do better, as you have refined tastes; you’re elegant and love high society.

Aspiration: renaissance sim OR public enemy Traits: snob, genius OR music-lover, kleptomaniac

requirements:

complete aspiration, have career (s) related to aspiration chosen

max piano skill & compose 2 piano songs

have a collection of stolen goods in a private trophy room on lot

have one spouse cheat/divorce or leave ‘Salted Caramel’ at altar (up to you if they find love a second time after this)

have one child & have fairly good relationship with them

Gen 5: Cookies n’ Cream

One parent was absent and the other was trying their best, and tried not to control your path in life, you wanted to escape the limelight that ‘Salted Caramel’ inherited, though perhaps your parent’s ambition rubbed off on you a little anyway: you spent a lot of time at home cooking & baking that it becomes a passion. You inherit a sum of money from your family that can be put down on a business.

Aspiration: soulmate Traits: foodie, cheerful, clumsy

requirements:

max homestyle cooking and baking skills

move out of del sol valley & move into another world lot

opt out of fame/celebrity stars once moved out/young adult

run a successful bakery (get to work needed)

Gen 6: Strawberry Shortcake

You had an idillic childhood, and got on well with both your parents, so much so you decided to stick with them & take care of them in their old age. You want to pass the baton of a inspiring childhood on your own children once you settle down with someone, if only because you’re a child at heart yourself.

Aspiration: painter extraordinaire Traits: Art lover, childish

requirements:

Live with parents in household

Must have 'good childhood’ and high empathy (if you have parenthood expansion)

have good relationship with both parents

max painting & wellness skills

have three different love interests (same time or sequentially)

have child/children with one of the love interests & have them move into household

Gen 7: Peach melba

You are the wild child of the family - your childhood home was always way too tranquil and quiet for your tastes and you loved to play pranks on others in your household and were the torment of your sibling(s)!

have a BFF who you’ve been friends with since childhood (can’t be romantic interest)

Gen 8: Red Velvet

Life in your home was always chaotic & fun! and yet it always felt like something was missing, that is until you meet your high school sweetheart. But, you grew distant and ended breaking up, you strive to seek that kind of love again, and end up being the quite the heartbreaker, for better or for worse…

aspiration: serial romantic traits: romantic, non-committal, glutton

requirements:

have a relationship as a teen and have one of them break up with the other before reaching young adulthood

have any career and reach lvl 5 at least (suggested: culinary)

max gourmet cooking skill

must complete aspiration

after having 8 different romantic interests, fall in love & marry the person of your dreams (can be HS sweetheart or a different sim, but must be good friends with them before they become a love interest)

Gen 9: Matcha

You’re the mellow, laid back one in the family, not that you don’t have your own struggles, mind. The opposite of ‘Red Velvet’ you want to lose the stress and just be in the middle of nature, let life come to you and grow to flourish…

aspiration: freelance botanist OR the curator traits: loves outdoors, lazy, bookworm

requirements:

max gardening & writing

have well maintained garden

publish at least 2 best-selling books

have a complete collection of one type of collectable in the game (e.g. elements, frogs etc.)

Introducing A Literary Twist! A Sims 4 Legacy Challenge based around some of literature’s favorites! While designed for Berry Sims this challenge can be easily adapted to vanilla gameplay as well. Please feel free to change up this challenge to your story telling needs! I tried to make the rules fairly simple to give you as much freedom to create a world and story of your own as possible. The ‘Spice of Life’✨ Legacy Challenge

Sometimes playing the sims can get a little stale, and somewhat repetitive, especially The Sims 4. I know I can get stuck playing the same stories over and over again, so I decided to create this challenge to add a little excitement and variety to my, and hopefully your, game-play!

After all, variety is the spice of life!

Gen 1: The Wild Child

You’re a sim who loves to get down, go on adventures and spend time with other sims! You can be a bit of a handful for some sims, but that’s okay! You’ve been wild since the day you were born and you wouldn’t want to be any other way. You have about a million things you want to do in your life time and you’re gonna do them all!

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Traits: Dance Machine, Adventurous, Outgoing

Generation rules / goals:

Join the secret agent career and get to the top of it before your sim becomes an elder

Once your sim is an elder have them start a new job, keep them on their toes!

Complete the Friend of the Animals aspiration

Master the Dance & Pet training skills throughout your sims lifetime

Have five animals in your sims house-hold at one time (these should be cats, dogs, raccoon, foxes, etc.) - you don’t always have to have five but you should at some point

Have you sim have at least 10 friends and having a falling out with one of them and become enemies

Have a best-friend that is NOT your partner / spouse

Have your sim go out at least once every weekend to either the club, the bar or somewhere else they can dance! They’re a dance machine remember!

Your sim can have as many children as you like, but keep in mind that they have a lot of animals in the house

You must have at least one child in order for them to become heir, they can be adopted or biological, it doesn’t matter!

Go on at least two family vacations, one of these must be to Mt. Komorebi

Have your sim be a very relaxed parent, no rules, no pressure to get good grades, etc. (Parenthood is needed for this but if you don’t have it that’s okay just do your best without it!)

I was inspired to create this challenge by books that influenced me as a child. You do not need to have read them or even know what they are but if they somehow inspire you to read them that would be super cool! But maybe rushing into a marriage was not such a good idea…
