What kind of bodies did you use for the dolls in your comic? :0 I'm looking to get into doll customization and lps heads on doll bodies seems like a fun place to start

harper (lps spaniel head) was made with a barbie extra mini doll i got secondhand. theyre imo the ideal bodies to match with lps heads because theyre one of the few smaller scale dolls that have good articulation for posing and fit a lot of different outfits (the one piece shes wearing is from a lot of kelly doll clothing i got on mercari and the shoes were from a dollar store pack.)

boo (lps french bulldog head) was made with a capsule chix body which is smaller in scale so i had to use their "collar" (repurposed hoop earring from aforementioned barbie extra mini) to sorta improv a new neck joint to keep the head from sinking down. as a result the clothes arent quite as well fitting as id like, but i still really like the head to body proportions, and its hard to find cheap small-scale dolls in like fantasy skin colors so all things considered i think she turned out great.

if youre interested in custom lps dolls in general though i know a lot of folks use lol surprise bodies or, if youre willing to shell out the cash, ball jointed doll bodies. it all really depends on like the proportions youre looking for, the amount of money you want to spend, and the amount of customization you want to do. i intend to get more into painting custom dolls in the future but right now its still too scawy ;_;

We need to start making angels with “wings” on their back that are not from birds. I wanna see bat wings, spider legs, tentacles, bone spikes, ink jets, giant fingers, fungal colonies, trees, water in zero gravity, EM radiation zones, mini thunderclouds, insect swarms, statistically unlikely combinations of sunbeams, antlers, there’s plenty of possibilities you can give them more than just feathers!!!!!
