what a shock. He claims he's busy yet there's no customers in sight. Oh well, he's working with meat, there could be something he could eat, right? Lantern hadn't had any meat in a while since he started his diet. A new meal would be refreshing.

ah, but the person seemed a bit upset at Lantern calling the place cheap. After all, some good restaurants are more elegant than they seem.

❝ Ah? Are you the owner? ❞ he asks. eyeing the unfamiliar individual. ❝ Sorry lah, uh- think of it like a compliment. This place seems homey to me. ❞

Lantern takes a seat, eyeing the menu while muttering.

❝ Do you have beef? I won't be long. ❞

Lantern would walk inside, eyeing the inside of the restaurant like a mother scanning for leftover dust after cleaning.

He isn't interested in looking professional at all. He's just hungry. Turns out his new diet is more boring than he thought.

Ah, no. Stay calm... plebians have very broad taste—they will take anything over starving. You would know, Cleaver... You would know.

Just welcome them with open arms.

The place is pristine. The walls were clear of dust and the checkered floor shone as if it had just been recently bleached. The whole bistro had an 80s diner look, refined, elegant, old, but most of all, clean.

Cleaver's ear twitched as he listened to the noise of his newest customer. He was busy with handling some meat, unfortunately, so he had to talk to them with his back towards them.

Not that it wasn't part of the appeal, some found it mysterious—who was he to deny them that?

"Welcome to Hayday, dearest customer. You may take a look at the menu while I'm finishing a meal... I'm quite busy today."

Spider Slasher is a Melee Phighter from Blackrock. A quiet, intense demon with an unsettling aura, he carries himself with grim purpose and brutal precision. Once a dutiful older brother, he now walks alone, sharpening his gear like a ritual and speaking of bloodshed as a necessary toll. While his sister toys with fear, Slasher embraces it—leaving behind mangled calling cards and scenes of violence to provoke terror and attract clients. Though colder now, a part of him still watches over his sister… hoping to pull her from the illusion of their twisted “perfect” family.

🎙️ Personality:

Spider Slasher carries himself with a blunt, intense demeanor, far removed from his sister's subtlety. Once burdened by his family’s expectations, he broke away to forge his own violent path as a freelance mercenary in Blackrock. His brand of horror is direct and visceral, often leaving behind gruesome calling cards to taunt enemies and advertise his services. Though seemingly detached, a part of him still worries over his sister—hoping to free her from the delusion of their family's perfect legacy.

📖 Backstory:

Spider Slasher is the eldest of the Stake siblings, once groomed to inherit the family's legacy of trade and tradition. Disillusioned by their madness and control, he fled, leaving only a letter behind and vanishing from their lives. While Spider Horde remained in the spotlight, Slasher built his name in Blackrock as a brutal mercenary—one who embraces violence with theatrical flair. Unlike his sister’s subtle horror, Slasher's methods are loud, bloody, and deliberate. His kills are warnings, his calling cards infamous. Though he claims to have abandoned his family, he keeps a distant eye on Spider Horde, believing she's still shackled by the illusion of their former home. Whether he’ll save her or sever the last tie is a question only his blade can answer.

Spider Horde is a Support Phighter from Blackrock. A quiet, formal demon with an eerie presence, she presents herself as a soft-spoken hotel maid, always polite and composed. She tends to her gear like a child, and speaks of the misfortunes in her halls as if they simply happen, never caused. But beneath her gentle facade lies a calculated mind obsessed with fear. Through poison-laced gear and hallucinogenic tricks, she seeks to unravel her opponents from the inside out, studying what makes them break. Her motives are uncertain—curiosity, family legacy, or something far worse.

🎙️ Personality:

Spider Horde presents herself as a soft-spoken, motherly figure with the poise of a dutiful maid, often tending to guests with eerie grace. Beneath her calm demeanor, however, lies a sadistic curiosity—one obsessed with fear, madness, and the slow unraveling of others' sanity. She feigns ignorance of the horrors within her hotel, using psychological warfare and her poisonous gear to study and exploit the deepest terrors of her victims. Though polite and composed, her chilling presence lingers long after she’s gone.

📖 Backstory:

Spider Horde, the youngest and only remaining member of the once-prominent Stake family, was expected to uphold the family’s legacy after her brother's mysterious departure. During a business ball hosted by Lord Pwnatious III, she violently attacked an up-and-coming scientist named Subspace, exposing the madness festering beneath her calm demeanor. The night spiraled into chaos when her father set the building ablaze in a fit of madness, effectively ending their family’s reputation. With her lineage vanished and her name steeped in infamy, Spider Horde turned the ruins of their estate into the Divine Intervention Hotel—a quiet yet haunting place rumored to drive guests mad overnight. Despite its eerie past, the hotel remains open… and breakfast is free.

Pom-Pom is a Support Phighter from Playground. A high-energy cheerleader with an infectious smile, she thrives in the chaos of the Phights, always rooting for the side she thinks will win. While usually bubbly and upbeat, she’s not above a little trash talk—especially when the competition heats up. During Phestivals, however, her cheerleading turns intense. If her team loses, even her sunny attitude can’t stop the storm of sass and salt that follows.

🎙 Personality:

Pom-Pom is cheerful, loud, and bursting with energy. She’s the kind of Phighter who’ll shout encouragement across the field and keep spirits high, no matter how chaotic things get. Confident and stubborn, she always believes her side can win—and makes it very clear who she’s rooting for. But when things don’t go her way? That bright attitude takes a sharp turn. Pom-Pom becomes salty, dramatic, and fiercely competitive, especially during Phestivals. A sore loser to the core, she’ll never admit defeat without throwing some shade.

📖 Background:

When Pom-Pom first discovered the Phights, she was instantly hooked. The sight of support gears in action inspired her to jump into the sport herself, eager to cheer on a team of her own. With her gear in hand and endless energy, she quickly made a name for herself on the battlefield. Outside the Phights, Pom-Pom is a social media regular—sharing wins, shouting out her team, and going viral whenever she loses (usually in spectacular fashion). But to her, it’s all part of the game. Win or lose, she knows how to keep the spotlight.

Pirate J. is a Support class Phighter from Lost Temple. A spirited adventurer of the sea, he’s a pirate-turned-wanderer who follows the call of adventure wherever it may lead. Despite losing an eye and a leg, his heart remains unshaken—and his tales, just as wild.

🎙 Personality:

Pirate J. is a bold and adventurous soul, driven by ideals as vast as the seas he once sailed. Weathered by years of seafaring, he's seen it all—but that hasn’t dulled his reckless spirit or his flair for drama. He’s arrogant to a fault, often bragging about his narrow escape from Scythe like it was just another day on deck. His carefree swagger is amplified by his gear, which leaves him acting like he’s tipsy most of the time—not that he minds. Pirate J. enjoys facing danger with open arms and stories you’re never sure are true.

📖 Background:

Pirate J. is a headstrong wanderer whose gear fuels his impulsiveness and stubborn streak. His most infamous tale begins with a disastrous encounter with Scythe, one of the feared leaders of the Church of The True Eye. Nearly his entire crew was wiped out in the clash—only he and his first mate escaped, and not without cost: he lost a leg and an eye. Instead of mourning the loss, Pirate J. declared it his proudest moment. With a bloodied grin, he told Scythe to "remember him," calling the fight—and his survival—equal to claiming a kraken's territory. To this day, he proudly tells the tale as if it were a grand victory; unaware that he's being chased by Scythe and many others, who wants the bounty on his horns.

Snowball is a Ranged Phighter from Playground, formerly of Blackrock. A cunning and prideful inventor, she was once hailed as a genius in her homeland—until public distrust forced her into exile. Now in Playground, she wields her tech with calculated precision, driven by ego, ambition, and a need to prove she’s still the best.

🎙 Personality:

Cold, cunning, and endlessly bitter, Snowball is a burnt-out genius with a superiority complex. She keeps to herself, looks down on Playgrounders, and uses her intellect like a weapon—often bullying others to feel in control. Despite her icy demeanor, her brilliance as an inventor is undeniable, at least, in her mind.

📖 Background:

Once a brilliant inventor in Blackrock, Snowball was forced to flee after being targeted for challenging the norm. She now lives in Playground. Though quiet and withdrawn, Snowball hasn’t lost her edge. She looks down on Playgrounders, seeing them as jealous of her genius. Unlike Subspace, she doesn’t need robots to protect her—she uses them as her army. She’s even willing to harness the power of the Inphernals to outshine everyone, especially Subspace.

🐲 Dragon Lantern

🐉 General Description:

Dragon Lantern, also known as Lantern, is a Ranged Phighter from the Thieves’ Den faction. He’s a Shrine Guardian who’s usually seen napping or sweeping outside. Occasionally, he performs Dragon Dances for the locals.

🎙 Personality:

Lantern is calm and laid-back, rarely losing his cool—unless he gets flustered, then he panics and turns red. He’s resourceful and likes doing things his own way, but his stubbornness and impulsiveness can get in the way. Though he’s sassy and a terrible liar, he deeply cares about protecting others from the pain he’s been through. He often slips into Chinese when embarrassed, hiding a kind heart behind his chill attitude.

📖 Background:

Lantern used to serve under Zuka in Blackrock’s army, always having his back in battle. He was there when Zuka lost his arm and part of his horn, but he never talks about it. After the war, Lantern settled in Thieves’ Den for a quieter life, though he still feels a strong need to protect others. He hasn’t seen Zuka since, but quietly hopes they’ll reconnect someday.
