For a Christian, the election is not about politics, political party, personal preferences, or personality, but Biblical policies. Policy derives from a worldview. Christians are looking for people with a worldview that will have policies/platforms/practices that agree with Scripture. We as Christians are to be involved in our government and the process of choosing our elected leaders. Adrian Rogers, the late longtime Pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis Tennessee once said, “It is inconceivable that God would ordain human government, then tell his people to stay out of it. It is a Christians faithful duty to take part in the political process.” As a Christian we are “to encourage godly principles and warn of ungodly behavior in every aspect of life, including politics.” Don't sit out, instead get involved and vote based on Biblical principles. Vote for policies and platforms that agree with Scripture. Some examples of Biblical principles include: the value of all life, support of Israel, border protection, working for what you get i.e. capitalism, limited government that protects its’ citizens and punishes those who break the law, males and females, marriage between a man and a woman, surrounding oneself with Christian spiritual counsel, promoting and standing for law and order, school choice, legal immigration, basing decisions on our foundational document, people who keep their word, bearing arms, capital punishment, freedom to worship, having a nation whose God is the Lord, ... As Billy Graham once said, “Christians have a sacred duty to vote, and when we vote, to vote our convictions, our beliefs and our values.” —my pastor, Chris Hicks https://www.instagram.com/p/CGjEFHSDUv6/?igshid=jn2r2pvmgn97

My face when researching during/after debates. ‼️Whatever political party you feel solid for, I HIGHLY encourage you to do your own research! I love watching these debates to see what each candidate has to say for themselves, obviously. However, you have to fact check, research, and align your core beliefs with what the party policies are. Just because you hear trigger phrases, shiny headlines, etc...doesn’t mean it is fact. During debates, candidates (on both sides) tend to talk in circles...not answering the questions asked. So, research the policies yourself! Research how the candidates have voted on similar issues in the past! Research the comments candidates have made specifically regarding policies your care about. -packing the Supreme Court -2nd Amendment -pro-life/pro-choice -Criminal Justice Reform & Police funding -taxes -immigration Etc... Your #vote matters.♥️ https://www.instagram.com/p/CGGbOmLD473/?igshid=kkurxeg0hqai
