On the one hand, yes, it feels like it would make sense for Ferengi society to be intensely homophobic, given how closely associated misogyny and homophobia are within our own society. However, given that one of the Rules of Acquisition is "Always sleep with the boss," it's also rational to assume gay sex is pretty common on Fereginar. So I think it's less likely that they would have the "being gay makes you less masculine" thing that our society has. Yes, doing things that are often associated with women likely earns you social denigration, but I don't think "having sex with men" is included in that category.
