HIATUS ANNOUNCMENT

so im graduating on friday and heading out of town for saturday and possibly sunday, but that isn’t the main reason for this hiatus. the main reason is that i feel like i need some time to rest and feel motivated to write again, because right now i literally have none.

i just feel like the only reason im writing is for you guys and while that is a valid reason, it doesn’t feel genuine to me. i mean i don’t want to have to put up a facade around you all, because that wouldn’t be right. although, all your comments and messages seriously keep me going, i feel sad.

which brings me to my main point, i feel bad.

i have had these episodes before and there have been way worse ones. i haven’t had one in a long time, so im guessing that’s why it’s really hard.

like a week or two ago, i was learning guitar, writing stories and songs, but now i just feel empty. i feel ugly, inside and out. i mean ive always had self-esteem issues, but this one is like a mild combination of everything. it’s strange, it’s like i don’t necessarily hate myself, but i don’t like me either. my self hatred especially grows when i work hard in something and find out was waste, and for any of you who see my posts, it’s kinda a thing hahhshs.

anyways, yeah there’s my shitty excuse for anyone who cares.

im sorry if you think im being a little shit, but i don’t want to get used to this, because i used to be and it was horrible. i made some progress and i don’t want to throw it all away, because i hate myself.

so im gonna go try and convince myself im somewhat ok and i have purpose and stuff. ugh i hate fighting myself, but i can’t let her win either so ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯ wish me luck

You’re sitting on the couch of the recording studio, legs flung atop Mary’s and laughing at something she just told you while the boys work on their new songs. 

“I’m gonna go get some water,” you say quietly before hauling yourself off of the couch. “You boys want anything?” you call as you make your way to the door. 

“No thank you,” Roger says too sweetly, “Deacy?” John discreetly flips him off from behind.

“I’m good. Thanks, Y/N.” You smile at him, which makes his stomach drop, before heading out. 

When you’re out the door and out of earshot, Mary crosses her arms. 

“You guys are so obvious,” she says from the couch, lips curled up in a smile. 

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” John says. 

‘You know you should ask her out. I know for a fact she would say yes.” John stops, going comically still. 

“Actually?”

“Oooh, you’re blushing! He’s blushing!” Roger says with glee, nudging Brian. Brian simply rolls his eyes, but smiles nonetheless.

“Shhh––she’s coming back!” And then in the hurry to go back into a state of normality, John does the exact opposite: accidentally tripping over the wire connected to the amp, crashing into Roger’s cymbals, and then falling onto the ground, not without taking the drummer down with him. 

“Amazing!” Freddie says, clapping his hands together. 

“Fuck,” Roger groans from the floor. 

“Oh my god, are you guys okay?” you ask, hurrying over to help. You gently touch John’s arm, and he scrambles up, face bright red.

I feel really weird being the one defending Brian since I’m usually the one calling him out, but this is really bothering me. Brian has spent years defending Freddie from lying to everyone for years to protect Freddie’s privacy to co-founding an AIDS foundation in his memory to going on TV just a week after Freddie’s death to defend Freddie from people who were saying that Freddie’s death was his fault and that he got what he deserved to delaying the movie almost an entire decade because he was worried about how an R-rated version of the movie would portray Freddie. I’ll leave you guys with an interview Brian did a week after Freddie’s death where you can clearly see how much he adored Freddie and how much he tried to defend Freddie’s image.
