Human beings are responsible for their fucking actions. It is absurd to even entertain the idea that because of Israel, people suddenly lose any sense of responsibility and they just can't HELP but attack Jews.

The whole miss Rachel thing is literally prime example of leftist antisemitism.

Miss Rachel is a youtuber whose target auidence are toddlers/young children. She made a video platforming Motaz who is pro hamas and has ties to hamas. Motaz who shared videos of October 7th and expressed joy at it. Motaz who has been banned by Meta for violating guidelines.

People as a whole weren't mad at her for platforming a Palestinian, they were mad at her for platforming Motaz.

Yet people try to frame it that da evil joos were mad at poor miss Rachel for platforming Palestinians.

And this is a common theme. Someone will do an action which is harmful. People will get upset at the specific action - not because something is inherently pro Palestine - and then people will frame it as jews being upset at the pro Palestine motivation not the action.

A another recent example is someone who went on a post I made about a holocaust memorial being vandalized with "free gaza". Not once did i say I was upset at the message, and I even offered an alternative to defacing a holocaust memorial. And I was clear that I was only upset with the action of vandalizing a holocaust memorial. Yet the person claimed I was anti Palestine for being upset at the holocaust memorial being defaced.

When I reiterated that I was again, upset at the action not the message, they decided to claim that I was again anti Palestine because I hadn't posted enough about palestinian suffering (as an attempt to counter the fact that I have made posts centering Palestinians suffering) and that they weren't going to listen to me because of it.

The simple fact is, no matter how clear I was or how clear people were about their issue with Miss Rachel, it will always been purposefully and intentionally "misunderstood" because it's much easier to go "well you're anti Palestine" even when the person isn't, than to recognize that an action was harmful and that not all acts of activism are good.

I think it’s good and necessary to speak up about bad experiences/dissatisfaction with gynecological healthcare but at the same time I really don’t want young people to see that and avoid getting screened for cervical cancer because they think it will be like medieval torture or something. Of course most of the responsibility for this lies with medical institutions themselves (and by extension public health professionals). But just FYI, it’s entirely possible for a pap smear to be painless. And if you’re avoiding getting one because you’re afraid, you should take that information into account in addition to the warnings you’ve heard.
