An Introduction . . .
We are a film group currently studying Digital Film and Screen Arts at UCA Farnham (University of Creative Arts - Farnham).
The Quillverines is the name of our current project which is a documentary mini-series about different British authors and the locations which inspired their most famous works.
The group consists of Jordan Simmons, Sarah Taylor and Lauren Whiteside.
Our first episode is titled 'A. A Milne - Winnie-the-Pooh,' and as the title suggests it is about A. A Milne and his inspiration behind Winnie-the-Pooh.
In the first episode we ventured to Ashdown Forest which is the real-life setting of the Hundred Acre Wood, only in reality it is named the Five Hundred Acre Wood.
Although at first we were in the completely wrong part of the forest we soon travelled to the correct place and got to see famous Winnie-the-Pooh locations such as Pooh Bridge and Winnie-the-Pooh's very own house!

A.A Milne - Winnie-the-Pooh
Our first documentary took us to Ashdown Forest in Sussex, which was the inspiration behind the ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ series written by A.A. Milne. The miles and miles of beautiful landscape is the perfect setting for these famous stories about a boy and his woodland friends. There were many places such as Pooh Sticks Bridge, Eeyore’s house and Pooh Bear Corner which led to the creation of one of the most well loved bears in history, and a childhood favourite for many people all around the world.
Images and Video will be up soon.
