wow, remember when i was going to do weekly camp nano updates? me neither!
anyway, i crushed past my goal of 30,000 words on july 22nd, immediately decided i hated my work in progress and moved on.
a writing group i joined this month hosted an 48-hour writeathon event, which ended... uh, an hour ago. i wrote 26.8k in 48 hours. that's the fastest pace i've ever written at. my wrists hurt and my left thumb is cramping, and now i'm going to take a nap.

well i said i'd do a daily update for camp nano, and that... didn't happen. oops! i've decided to do weekly updates instead!!
week one: July 1st - July 4th
word count: 10,015 out of 25,000
i've already progressed so much with my project, reaching 40% in four days! that's crazy, and this is the first camp project that i actually felt confident about reaching my goal for. so much so, in fact, i might raise my goal as the month progresses!
