Had an idea for an au where Peter does get shot in NPMD and Steph makes a deal with the lords in black to erase her memories of him because they’re too painful. To pay Steph’s end of the bargain she must be in their eternal service forever. When the deal is done she has no idea why or how she made the deal due to getting rid of her memories of Pete all she knows is that she’s now a slave to eldritch forces.
