A lot of the game is just inside jokes with friends so I didn't do much promotion... they actually found your playthrough and I completely freaked out in call when they told me lmao As a creator I've grown used to my stuff not getting much traction so it was pretty surprising! Even moreso when I realised you were streaming it too lol

(excuse the late response I barely use tumblr lmao) RRA originated around 2021 in a Minecraft world where somehow (I don't remember how) the topic of "Pepsiman in Touhou" came to be. I talk about this more in the RRA postmortem if you haven't seen it

tl;dr, main inspiration for the tone of the VN was Dayshift at Freddy's (the FNAF fangame series) in terms of silly ridiculousness. Never meant to be genuine Pepsi propaganda, I barely even drink soda, I just thought it was funny
