MAN I FORGOT HOW WONDERFUL IT FEELS TO MODIFY AN APK TO YOUR LIKING!! IT'S BEEN SUCH A WHILE , I FORGOT HOW GOOD IT FEELS LOL! GUESS I'VE BEEN SPOILED TO SUBSTRATUM HOWEVER I HAVE NOT FOUND ONE SUBSTRATUM THEME THAT CUSTOMIZES THE UNKNOWN CALLER IMAGE THAT I CAN THINK OF RIGHT NOW ANYWAY. THERE MAY BE A FEW DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT. Thanks again Raúl Miranda for introducing me to APK editor all those years back brother! Now this may not look like a lot, but this is the image that shows up when an unknown caller, or any number that you do not have saved in your phone, calls. Instead of that gay little gray Avatar. The best part is it's not hard at all to decompile, and recompile the APK!! I did it all on my phone! APK editor is the smartest app, I have ever purchased to date! Anyone interested in trying out my modified AOSP Dialer, that is currently on a custom AOSP rom, which is using AOSP dialer. Just give me a shout, and I will send a Dropbox link. I will also help guide you on how to install it. However, I'm sure most of you guys already know how to install something like this manually.. but anyone needing help, just let me know it's pretty simple. You basically just make sure the file name is the same as the app installed on your phone, then navigate to where the file you are trying to replace is located ,and replace it with my modified version, then SET PERMISSIONS! Don't forget that step ,then just reboot into dopeness.. that's basically it but if you can't figure it out hit me up. Side note it is never a bad idea two instead of just replacing your stock dialer with my modified version copy your stock version onto the SD card in case you have a problem or just want to change it back to stock you can reverse the process replacing my modified app with the stock version should you ever want to.
