just watched a video of a wildlife rehabber tube-feeding the teeny tiniest orphaned baby opossum and the comments are fucking KILLING me

I hate being itchy and not being able to fix it. My nails aren't enough, so I use my teeth. Teeth don't work, so I get crafty. I use Velcro. Velcro doesn't work, so I say "fuck it" and begin to scratch myself against trees n whatnot like I'm trying to mark my territory or some shit. But guess what? That doesn't work either, so I guess I'm gonna be scouring my kitchen for a cheese grater for the next hour. I feel like a cow in a field that is riddled with flies who insist on being the biggest assholes known to man, and my farmer has not supplied me with the proper utilities to fix this problem.

Denn (bottom) and Hyde (top) back when they were still just babies 🥹 I miss when they were little like this. Denn is now a part of the colony as one of few adult males, and Hyde was gifted to a friend as a pet. Accidentally mis-sexed Hyde before she matured thinking she was a male lol
