Our upcoming live music is this Sunday and we have a line up of talented up and coming artists to showcase.
Parade is our monthly acoustic (-ish) event hosted by our in-house protégée Marie Chabrelie. One of our aim was to gather music lovers in a like-minded atmosphere with a great soundtrack and offer a platform for young, talented,  up and coming artists.
Like Sofar Sounds we want to provide intimacy and bring guests and artists closer together. We ask for respect during performances as we want you to enjoy fully the experience. There are no headliners, all the artists performing worth checking out  We serve our evening menu and drinks during the event but try to limit phone use and loud conversations.
We think that music should be free and don’t charge for entry. Of course if you want to support an artist we won’t stop you helping them a little bit by sharing their social media platforms, music, performance or a small contribution.  We know how tough the industry is and every little help worth it!
This month’s artists are gems you won’t want to miss.
Calming River, the pseudonym of British born songwriter, Joshua Malcolm, makes alternative, melodic, intimate and beautiful. Those are just some of the words used to describe his music.  The name may conjure tranquillity but there has always been a latent, opposing flow of tension and strife to be found—a fragility that emanates within delicate confine. Music Crowns: “…perhaps one of the most impressive independent acoustic artists currently releasing music in Europe.” GEISTE  is our little protégée. She calls her music Softcore dream pop - we say it's raw emotions from start to the end. To be fair you should just get your cute bottom down here and hear for yourself.  We hope to see you there on Sunday Night. The event starts at 7.30 PM. Make sure to get down here early to grab a table or you can book one by calling us on 020 8961 9630.

Our upcoming DJ Night will be on Sunday the 25th of February so put on your dancing shoes and let’s turn Rubio into a dance floor.
Eats & Beats is our monthly DJ Night hosted by Max Reich (The Shapeshifters, CLiQ) inviting his peers and up and coming talented DJs.  One of our aims, at Rubio, is to gather with like minded people and music lovers in an unique atmosphere with an amazing soundtrack and keep our love for house music alive in our favourite venue.
We try to play the best tunes during the day but feel the need to party from time to time and love when you guys join us for that. There are no headliners, all the artists performing worth checking out  We serve our evening menu and drinks during the event.
We think that music should be free and don’t charge for entry. Of course if you want to support an artist we won’t stop you helping them a little bit by sharing their social media platforms, music, performance or a small contribution.  We know how tough the industry is and every little help worth it!
This month DJ - that will get you to boogie:
Raincloud Ollie is a producer, DJ, engineer and created his own label Greenhouse Culture. Greenhouse Culture's inaugural release, courtesy of label boss raincloud ollie, is a proud mixing pot of warehouse weapons, introspective slow burners and garage inspired grooves. Aiming to showcase the more 'organic' side of production through the label, he samples dusty breaks and encapsulates a sense of nostalgia throughout.

Anell is a DJ, Producer and radio host playing some of the top venues around the country. Her mixes are uplifting taking listeners on a colourful journey. She started her music career in her home country, Lithuania. Singing from an early age, she was spotted by a production team, and laid down her first recording, ''Searching For You'', which became an instant chart and radio hit. In 2011 she moved to London, and hasn’t looked back. House music is her passion, and she currently DJs at various high end bars and clubs in the capital.
