Control Variable

These are the the variables left unchanged. These are the variables that you talk about when talking about a fair test along with repeating experiments.

For Example: Having the same people do the experiment, using the same amount acid for Experiment x or same loctaion.

Independent Variable

This is the variable you change in an experiment x.

For example: The types of chemicals used in experiment x, the different masses of base used in experiment y, the different distances object z has to fall or different time intervals you freeze something.

Dependant Variable

A variable which is measured in an experiment.

For example: Time taken for Experiment x to finish reacting.

Makeup

So, there are a lot of posts on tumblr that say not to wear makeup to please men and to wear it to make yourself feel beautiful. And yes, if that’s what makes you feel beautiful, wear it. But you shouldn’t think makeup is the only way you CAN feel beautiful. As a teenage girl, I feel pressured to wear makeup. Most people I know do, everyone in the media does, but I don’t. The most I wear is thin eyeliner, and usually not even that. And often I feel like I’m being judged for not wearing it. But you know what, I’m not. No one has ever said anything to me about my lack of makeup. So if makeup makes you feel beautiful, wear it. But if it makes you feel uncomfortable, or you prefer to go natural, do. You’re beautiful either way.
