I'll be honest. I haven't been having as much fun here as on my new multi. I moved it to a main blog, as you can tell by the above text. I actually have seven muses on there now! Two of them from Legend of Zelda!
my Multimuse, now a main blog, is right
HERE
IMPORTANT NOTE:
to those who follow thesealingarrow, she has been moved. I will no longer be posting on @thesealingarrow
Botw/AoC Zelda is now on my multi, and it was a good move, because I have so much muse for her now! Thank you all who wrote with her.
The only thing my multi is missing is a pinned post for mobile links and as a promo, but a very close friend told me they'd make me one sometime today. I don't mind waiting, this is mostly for friends anyway.
But if you're interested, please follow me there!
Side note: I think I'm taking a mini hiatus from this blog. Just a super short one! Not a MAJOR hiatus. Maybe 2-4 days, while I enjoy my multimuse. I understand if you want to unfollow/softblock/hardblock for this reason, and there will be no hard feelings if you do.
Thank you everyone, and stay safe in this heat!

@hyruleanhero wanted a starter <3
"I'm fairly certain by now, I much prefer days when there are clouds in the sky over those that are purely sunny."
A gust of wind blew by, her long, golden hair moving along with it. Her arms were at her sides, the Sheikah Slate she used resting in her right hand. Today was one of those days, as shadows were cast by the clouds, and the grass blew in the wind. In times of old, she never thought much of just how beautiful the wilds were.
After watching over Hyrule for one hundred years, one hundred long years, she held such a deep appreciation for the world around her compared to those older days.
Curious, she turns to her... well, technically still appointed knight. But more than that. He was her friend. Gone were the days where she behaved in such a cruel fashion, gone were the days of frustration, maybe that was part of becoming older, and wiser.
"Might I ask, what your favorite weather is? I don't believe we've had such casual discussion in quite some time."

The time has come to dust off this blog and make a post Age of Calamity verse to round out my collection
It's my favorite game of the trio this incarnation of Zelda is in, honestly.
Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with me during the seriously spotty activity!

Good to know.
It still stood, that she was raised as a princess. She was supposed to be proper. Though as time went on, she was... becoming much more casual. She knew when to speak with authority, but she also knew how to be her own person. Not solely the princess who governed Hyrule, ruined as it still was. Maybe it was her time spent as an omnipotent presence, that helped her attain such an understanding point of view.
Seeing people go about their daily lives, even throughout the calamity. Seeing the joy, the sorrow. The fear, but also, the excitement. Zelda took all of it in. She spent one hundred years as nothing short of a Goddess, watching over the kingdom.
Really changes a person, even though she was mortal now.
"I trust your words, though I still hope she'll be careful. Even the strongest of warriors, can make one slip up, and everything goes downhill from there."
Was he really in his thirties? Goodness, he really didn't look a day over twenty. In fact, if she were to truly guess, she'd have assumed he was her own age before the calamity was released. Seventeen.
"I wouldn't mind at all."
Too bad there wasn't a ruined example around to show him. She'd just have to try to explain.
"Ancient Sheikah Technology, they are called 'Guardians'. Calamity Ganon, the evil entity that tried to destroy Hyrule, used malice to bring them to his side. They truly are quite advanced, they shoot powerful beams from their eye."
She was certain they would eventually run into one, destroyed, of course. There were no working Guardians she knew of anymore. When the calamity was sealed, they all stopped working.
"They may be gone now, but the memories of them still haunt me to this day. The only reason I have not aged, is because I served those one hundred years as a Goddess. An omnipotent presence, that kept Calamity Ganon held back in a destroyed Hyrule Castle. It was my kn--"
There she was, almost referring to him solely by his title again.
"...My friend, Link, who was able to tear away at the malice that stopped me from sealing Calamity Ganon away. With the malice gone, I used the power of the Triforce, to make sure Calamity Ganon could never come back within my lifetime."
A short sigh through her nose.
"I don't know how long that will be. I don't know what effects occurred to my physical form, since becoming a Goddess. It's just something only time will tell. I am one hundred seventeen years old at current moment. Calamity Ganon returned on my seventeenth birthday."
“Trust me. It takes a lot t’ offend my daughter or I.” That was something Volt could confirm with conviction. Unless Zelda was going to refer to him as an ‘it’, a mutt, or some other derogatory word, there wasn’t a lot that would upset him. She could have even pointed out how they were shorter than her and he would have waved it off.
But now that Harmony had taken off to explore on her own and get some of that adrenaline out of her system, Volt smiled and shrugged a shoulder. “Bit o’ fur, but o’ quills.”
A hand reached back to move the red quills from off his shoulder. As they approached the ruins, violet eyes took in the destruction. Some had strange markings.. scorch marks, maybe? Part of them reminded him of laser rifle fire, but the enemies they had helped Zelda with seemed far too primitive to use such weaponry.
The more she explained, the more he was piecing together. The gears could be seen turning in his head as the puzzle pieces were placed together. An evil entity… hmmm. Something to talk about later.
“Trust me. We’re more likely t’ see the Moblin in the air than we’ll need t’ come t’ her aid.” And that was if the teen didn’t decide to just suplex it right into the dirt. Volt knew his daughter could hold her own, and it wasn’t like she was going to be gone long. 20-30 minutes at the max.
“You don’t look a day over 20, but I guess I can’t really talk. I’m in my 30s but most tell me I don’t look older than 20 myself. Harmony just turned 14.” Looking around, he couldn’t help but look at the ruined buildings one more time. “Would you mind tellin’ me what caused those? Those weren’t caused by the Moblins, were they?”

"Your price is fair. Consider it done."
She didn't quite pick up on his feelings. To her Revali had been a good friend. She admired him, yes, but not to the extent that Teba did. She knew that behind his tough talk, he was good, and boy, was he a tough teacher. But his experience was what made her incredibly gifted in bowmanship.
Upon her power being awakened, she became able to manifest a bow of her own. The Bow of Light, which she entrusted to Link during the final confrontation with Calamity Ganon. It was back in her possession now, and she still practiced regularly. But nothing could compare to what Revali would have been able to teach her, if he were still physically present.
Zelda could feel his spirit. She felt the spirit of all the champions, even her father. But they were physically gone, and there was nothing that could be done about that.
"From Hyrule Castle, traveling an estimated twelve hours a day, it took me four days to reach Rito Village. However, I do believe that you, as one who can soar through the sky, could reach the castle in much faster a time frame, so I am afraid I cannot give you a definitive answer."
A pause, though a frown, her expression was gentle.
"Perhaps, we may test it out tomorrow. You can decide from there, whether to accept my offer."
🔲 So, Teba guessed right. Link and her must have had much to discuss after the Calamity's defeat. He gave a slight bow of his head in response to her thanks. It would been Teba alone to help the knight in reaching Medoh as he refused to allow another rito to suffer an injury. Harth had since recovered. From his understanding, Zelda sought his aid in teaching the skill of archery to someone else. It would make sense the princess would seek out the best in Hyrule for the task. Admittedly, his eyes widen at the mentioning of her personal interaction with Master Revali. They had known each other? Enough for Revali to stand beside her and display his skill first hand. What a sight that must have been.
Teba resisted the urge to ask more about his idol, remembering she was here for her own goal in mind. "Thank you, Princess Zelda." He looked over to the near by stable then to his fellow ritos. "I feel minerals for arrows and rubies to ward off the cold would be fair." All other materials were fairly easy to acquire. These would help his people. He had one pressing question. "What is the estimate time I would be away from my village? I have a wife and child here. They can take care of themselves but I can't help but worry if I'm away for too long."

@mightiestbanana
I'll definitely try my best, even if just for you. I know we haven't interacted much, but I follow you on my main blog so I can always see what you're posting and jump over here on Zelda's blog if need be.
I really want to say I love your headcanons, I love what you've done with the character, and I love your concepts for how AoC goes post game. I also think you as a person are just very pleasant to talk to, on the occasions we've talked.
tl;dr: You're amazing, never forget that. Both IC and OOC (your art is amazing too, just sayin')

I'm just curious, but would anyone be interested if I tried to bring this blog back from the dead?
I went through major, major mental struggle since July of last year. But in late March, less than two week ago, thanks to new diagnosis stuff and medications, bla bla bla long story I'll tell you if you DM me.
Part of me wants to write here again, but I also know it has been many, many months, and I'm rustier than the Tin Man when Dorothy and Scarecrow meet him at first.
I will try to get to the two things I know I owe. Keyword being try. I make no guarantees, but I do miss this muse.

"I felt that impression, but I did not want to assume, and potentially cause any harm towards your feelings. There are so many unique beings in this world, to assume someone came from a different world altogether could be cruel."
The concept of different dimensions was rather new to her. Though she possessed the power of the Triforce, she'd never used it to visit a different dimension. Even if she wanted to, Zelda wasn't quite sure how to access that power. Kind of strange, one would think, given that she spent one hundred years as an omnipotent entity.
She watched over all of Hyrule, while simultaneously repelling Calamity Ganon from escaping the castle.
"I see. I would be happy to make your impression of Hyrule a joyous one. It really wasn't that long ago, an evil presence was on the brink of causing massive destruction."
Eyes widen slightly, at the sight of Harmony running off, but soon, there's lighthearted laughter.
"She's not the only one who loves running. I really enjoy it, myself. There's just nothing like feeling the wind through your hair. Or, fur, I suppose would be for you. Correct me if I'm wrong."
Stepping along, ruins could soon be seen. Destroyed buildings, just more work for her to oversee. Often, even help with. When darkness fell, she could use her power of light to keep things nice and bright, when the moon wasn't out.
"I'd worry, but I'm sure if she runs into any Moblins, she'll know how to take care of them. Every day, Hyrule becomes safer and safer. It took a century, believe it or not. I may not look it, but by technicality, I am over one hundred years old. I'd be happy if more dimensional travelers came to Hyrule."
Her smile widened.
"So much to learn! I'd be happy just to hear more about your dimension, and the same offer extends to you. If you'd like to know anything, I will gladly answer."
More than happy to fall into step on either side of her, the pair walked along as Zelda led the way. The land looked so beautiful and reminded Harmony of some of the places they had explored when she was younger. That urge to just run off and take in the sights was hard to ignore, but she also wanted to be part of the conversation.
Especially since they were getting to a topic that both hybrids were sure to be a slight shock to their new friend.
“That’s the funny part…” Volt started with a smile that matched his daughter’s.

“We’re not even from this world.” Harmony finished with a wag of her tail and skip in her step. “My dad and I are from a completely different Zone.”
“Some call it a dimension, but it’s not much different from yours. Just our race, Mobians, are more common than humans.” More than happy to answer any questions Zelda might have, Volt waved a hand to say as such. On top of elaborating on one thing. “Not sure how much you know ‘bout the multiverse, but we’re willin’ t’ fill in the blanks…”
Although he paused and looked at his daughter. It took her an extra minute to realize that he was and when she did, pink covered her muzzle. A silent conversation ended with him chuckling softly. “Go ahead pumpkin. We’ll be fine and I’ll whistle if somethin’ happens.”
She looked between her father and Zelda, hopping from foot to foot before giving in. Down to all fours she went and racing off in a streak of indigo along the tall grass. Thank Chaos she opted not to howl as Volt turned back to Zelda with a grin.
“She’s gotta run all that energy from beatin’ those enemies off or she’ll be bouncin’ off the walls all night.” Now his smile softened. “But that just means we can have a conversation on anything ya want and ya don’t have t’ worry.”

"Link told me all about those who aided him in defeating the malice that remained in the Divine Beasts. I... was able to keep watch over him, over all of Hyrule, but... I'm afraid my power has dwindled over all that time. Faces are not as familiar to me as they once were."
Judging by his words, she was speaking to none other than Teba himself. How embarrassing, that she'd lost sight of his face. Of his form. That happened with a lot of those she watched over, during the one hundred years she was keeping the Calamity sealed within the castle.
Memories grew foggy.
"Am I to assume then, that you are Teba? First and foremost, I must thank you. Without your help, I am most certain that saving Vah Medoh would have been impossible."
The princess allowed herself a smile.
"Revali taught me everything I know about bowmanship. He taught me how to defend myself with such a weapon, though I could never come close to his skill, no matter how hard I practiced."
Most of her time was devoted to unlocking her power. Now she was incredible when it came to magic, and she used those skills Revali taught her to wield the Bow of Light.
"You need only name your price. I don't have the free time for teaching, and even if I did, I truly believe that you are far more skilled than I am."
🔲 Zelda?
At this, the Rito gave the young woman his full attention. According to Link, the princess had been sealing the calamity ever since the fall of the champions. With the threat and malice gone and defeated, it stood to reason she would return. Her duty completed. He was still unsure what help he could provide their princess. With the Divine Beasts saved and guardians freed, what could he do for her? "Who could have told you that, I wonder?" The only ones who has seen his skills in actions were his fellow villagers and Link himself Must have been the knight, as silent as he was. The mention of compensation gave him pause. Rito village could always use more supplies for crafting their wares. "You heard right though." Teba faced away from the take off point, indicating he wouldn't leave then crossed his arms. "Out of all of the Rito, no one has been on par with Master Revali's skill at the Range like myself." At least, if the records from a century ago were accurate.

Well, he was a bit standoffish, wasn't he? Not that she could truly blame him, after all. Once upon a time, she hadn't been much different. That was a century ago now, Zelda knew she had to pave the way towards a brighter future. That meant doing her best to stay positive.
No matter how damaged Hyrule was. She would work, and the kingdom would become prosperous again.
"My name is Zelda."
Though he'd not always been the kindest, Revali had still been a great friend to her. She'd never forget lessons he'd taught, especially when it came to archery. She'd been learning to possibly defend herself with the bow, and arrow, just before the calamity struck. She took much more quickly to it than she ever had any sword.
In his memory, Zelda had devoted herself to the craft, and though she had become quite skilled, the royal guards were... lacking, in that skill. She was too busy with other matters to devote her time to teaching them. Not to mention, in spite of her skill, she would never match Revali's prowess. Or Teba's, for that matter.
She didn't even realize it was Teba she was speaking to.
"I am Hyrule's princess, and I really must speak with him. I've heard he is the most skilled bowman in all the kingdom. Are these rumors correct, if I may ask? Of course, I'd compensate him for any help he may provide."
🔲 Word traveled fast small villages. Visiting Hylians weren't uncommon to Teba nor a priority. It was unheard of for him to pay them any mind, so long as they didn’t cause any harm. Talk of another Hylian ascending the village, akin to on a mission, was no different to him as he filled his quiver with arrows. He all but forgot about their new guest once at Revali's Landing, ready for another day of practice. The Rito wanted to believe he had made some progress in mastering that near impossible technique but no one who had witnessed it themselves was even alive to assure him. "Hm?" All manner of thought broke as he looked behind to find, well, the Hylian.
Normally, he'd leave such pleasantries for Saki to handle but she was back at home. Teba eyed the stranger, wondering what would a girl, whom he never seen before, want with him? Especially since she already knew his name. "That entirely depends on the nature of your business." She must have not known much if she was questioning about him. "What's your name?"

"The pleasure is mine, truly."
Before her role watching over Hyrule, and protecting it from Calamity Ganon, she had been too afraid to come out of her shell, so to speak. Her only friends were the Champions, and... well. Now she understood how important Link was to her. So much had to be lost, so many painful memories. It had really forced her to grow up. Though she was technically over one hundred years old, she was still physically only seventeen.
Becoming an omnipotent being seemed to have kept her from aging. Fascinating.
"Certainly. Let's be off."
Though there wasn't a ton of emotion in her tone, her face spoke volumes of how nice it was, to have others to talk to during some time in the wilds. Should they be willing, maybe she'd invite them to make camp with her, and Link. Walking, perhaps there is... a renewed sense of happiness.
"I have noticed, I would love to hear more about where you're from. Hyrule is quite vast, I've never been outside its borders before."
It didn't take much to bring her curiosity abound, though, now older, she knew better than to bombard someone with questions.
"What's it like?"
Well that was a relief. Not only was the woman unharmed, but the person she had been traveling with was also able to handle themselves. No need to rush off to help another. They could take some time to explore and make friends.
Something Harmony had ever intention to do when the woman offered an introduction.
Hearing the name, there was a smile from the older hybrid. They had a friend with the same name. Maybe this Zelda was an alternate in a way. It didn’t stop their own introductions, but Volt had hesitated for a moment when it came time to extend his hand. Just because it looked normal, didn’t mean that it felt like such. The cybernetic limb when touched was a dead giveaway that it wasn’t covered in fur like it looked.
“Nice t’ meet you, Princess Zelda. I’m Voltage, but most just call me Volt.” One quick handshake later Harmony grinned as her bangs were ruffled by her father.
“And I’m Harmony. ‘S nice t’ meetcha.” Now that there was no threat of danger, the pair could safely look around at their surroundings. The air felt clean despite the beasts they had just taken care of. I looked almost peaceful. Perfect place to explore for a few hours and take a few pictures to add to their scrapbook later.
“You’ll have t’ lead the way.” Volt smiled. “I’m pretty sure ‘s a bit obvious Harmony and I aren’t from here.”
