boston classic, have been around since 2002. i think i remember seeing that they where gonna open for on the might of princes god i wish i was there for that :’)
this shit is awesome (found from xhellscynthex’s yt, super cool account) but i uploaded the mp3 to soulseek if ya want. i’d cut up the audio to separate each song but i actually dngaf :)
a gem. i remember hearing as cool as an attempted su*cide for the first time and being like “wow. so that’s what emo sounds like” fucking gorgeous mathcory screamo i have loved i do love and will love forever <3
Every project Damián Antón Ojeda has ever made is perfect (been listening to demo 5 on repeat this whole bus ride). I would pay so much money to get to see them perform anything live but like with 30 people tops. I want room to enjoy it ya know? Maybe I should move to Texas. Or better yet Illinois and then Texas so that I can maybe better understand their genius. Also who tf creates their own language that’s so cool wow
Was talking to a friend about how much this band fucks after seeing the cheapest copy of “the killer was in the government blankets” on Discogs ever the other day. Turns out Council Records did a repress last year that I missed, now I’ve got to wait for my next check. Onto the genius disguised as a band; they basically set a screamo record staying together for 9 years and making, as far as I know, 3 full length albums, 4 ep’s and two splits (Suicide Nation, This Machine Kills and envy!!!) I don’t know how to play guitar so if ur on time I figure ur basically eric clapton, but these guys definitely had sum special. Someone who plays guitar please back me up idrk what I’m listening to I just know it’s good. Worst part about this band is that I read somewhere that they moved to San Francisco. Fuck San Francisco. Also read that they picked their name because guitarist/ vocalist Mag Delana (fuck ya) was fascinated w him. I’ve never watched a movie Yaphet Kotto was in but anyone who’s name is Mag Delana is always right when it comes to names. Same goes for Christian Hell. Also,
“Dispensing Of False Halos were a five-piece screamo band from Des Moines, Iowa that were active from 2001 to 2003. This project was formed by members of In Loving Memory and Eclipse Of Eden. They released one full-length, alongside a demo, EP and split with Calling Gina Clark. Most of their output not included on their sole album was compiled a year after they broke up and released as Growing Up, Giving In (which is what's included here). The band's dynamic fold incorporats heavy, dissonant, metallic riffs, shrill screams and noodling clean arpeggios. Though not necessarily comparable, if you're into Textbook Traitors, Forcefedglasss, or The Apoplexy Twist Orchestra, this might be up your alley. Enjoy.”
