Comics and visual narrative
Our eyes moving are multidirectional way. Comic could be read plurivectorial. The audiences read comics left to right, top to bottom. However comics include a lot of components which are line, pattern, text, gutter, panel and space, they interrupt their reading way by these components. I think this is big difference between novel and comics. The creator should think about them, and sometimes there is a big meaning and key point in the blank space.

Process and Portfolio
How to show my work and to make portfolios? Portfolio can tell a story, make shapes and paces of my work and give a presentation of my work. What elements are important for making a portfolio?
-The content: Display of image documented for optimal.
-The process: Images that demonstrate the act of creation. (How to make it?)
-The context: Images presented in their intended environment. Interaction with audience to communicate purpose, scale... (Where are they? extra information.)

Exhibition of everyday connections
I would like to express the story of a man. The story is that the man tries to tell his love to woman whom he likes and the result of her answer.
I placed the this 5 photos on the door. It meant the man opened the door and went on his journey. The door was a starting point of the story. However, it was not clear about the story and the photos were too small. The audiences must have been confused and some of them could not have found out this. I should have printed out them bigger.
At this exhibition I realised how much important the space was. I connected with all of the photos, however, I could use spaces between each photos and also using the space could tell the story clearer. Moreover I should have thought about not only the space of the gap of the photos but also the space which was surroundings of the photos (i.e. the room, the pattern of the wall, the light came from the outside...etc.).
Showing the photos is not only show the photos, the surroundings relates to the work a lot. The space is the key elements.

There are a lot of interactions of videogames. Evocative sound track, conjured empathy, a lavish visual style and atmospheric environment... these make us immerse immediately into the world and story of videogames. Moreover videogames are digital tools which we can communicate with others online and social media. Videogames are not only tools of enjoyment individually but also tools of share the enjoyment the others.  Interaction is a key element to make us connect with the story of the videogames and the others.

Solving the Puzzle
When I solve the puzzle of pictures (images), I should consider content, composition, colours, texture, tone, shadow and framing.
It could be that some stories, a character come up. New stories or specific situation which are the new world could appear in front of me.

This article said that visual story telling (illustration, animation, etc) is important to explain something which is too complicated such as medical situation and science research. The visual images can make audience understand things higher level, have relationship of trust with audience and ensure scrupulous understand of research. And also it can increase wide audiences of scientist and non-scientists.
I watched Stephen Hawking's big ideas... made simple which is in the article. The animation made me understand easily what it said even my first language is not English. Simply I enjoyed the animation. If there is no animation, I must have not understood it at all.
Visual story telling has really strong power.
