"I know you don't understand. Understanding will come with time." She smiled softly. "The pit in your stomach may mean you're hungry. I know they don't feed you a lot but I supplement it when I can." She walked over to the fridge and grabbed some of the ration pouches she kept specifically for him. She took them over to him and held them out for him to take.

"Please just understand that I only have your best interests in mind."

Elise grumbled frustratedly as she tinkered with a project on her desk. She got so fed up with it that she threw it across the room, unaware anyone was near. She was so fed up with her mind and hands at the moment and didn't know what to do to fix it.

She stood up and walked over to where the littered parts were and picked them up, heading back to her desk to restart the project. "Let's try again." She sighed and started again before hearing the footsteps in her lab.

Elise stood behind the counter of her cafe playing with her phone. No one was in the shop at the moment and she had nothing to do so she booted up Pokemon Go on her phone. She was in mid battle when she heard her best brother come in and smiled at him.

"Hey Steve! You want anything?" She heard her phone ding and she squealed. She had just caught a shiny Eevee and was super excited about it. "I got it!" She jumped up and down and clapped her hands.

"Sorry, I get stupid excited over this game."

"I care because I'm your sister and I want you to be able to be free to do what you want. I've beaten guards for treating you like shit before and I'll do it again." She sighed and wrapped him in the blanket a bit better.

"If I didn't care, I wouldn't have left the note for you to find me and I wouldn't have given you the blanket."

Thank you 💙💙💙 she was the bestest. She was a foster fail and she was junior foster mom. She treated all the foster kittens like her kids and taught them how to be a cat.
