Hundreds of Jewish anti-war demonstrators have been arrested during a Passover seder that doubled as a protest in New York, as they shut down a major thoroughfare to pray for a ceasefire and urge the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, to end US military aid to Israel.

The 300 or so arrests took place on Tuesday night at Grand Army Plaza, on the doorstep of Schumer’s Brooklyn residence, where thousands of mostly Jewish New Yorkers gathered for the seder, a ritual that marked the second night of the holiday celebrated as a festival of freedom by Jews worldwide.

I almost wanna romance Elliot just because I have so many duck feathers I feel like getting him to 10 hearts would be easy

My sister was so mad btw because I had absorbed a lot of I guess big plot twists before she even started watching it and I thought it was just common knowledge stuff about the plot and I walked in and I was like “you wanna know what would be fucked up? [fucked up theory based on a huge plot twist]” and my sister was like “what are you talking about??”

And then I froze and it became really obvious to the both of us that I accidentally spoiled something huge 😭

I only sorta watched the show because my little sister watched it when she visited but I couldn’t handle stressful heavy themes at the moment, and first person survival games are way too stressful, so I’m absorbing the fallout games secondhand because I do love the concept

And I saw that at some point in the game after waking up from cryogenic sleep, you meet the guy who told you that your family had been accepted into a vault and he’s been turned into a ghoul because they wouldn’t let him into a vault and he’s been alive all these years

And idk, I’m just obsessed with the idea of walking around with someone you used to know pre-apocalypse, even if you didn’t know them that well, just pointing out where buildings used to be, reminiscing over things that you can’t even begin to describe to people who didn’t live through it

And joking about how thankful you are that it wasn’t the geese who became irradiated and huge and chasing people around

I’ve been skimming over the names in this fic and I just realized that I’ve been reading this one name as belonging to a canon character who’s usually in this role in fics and this whole time it’s been the author’s oc who has a different name, just starting with the same letter???

Who wants to know what Star Trek thoughts are making me sad this week? That was rhetorical I’m continuing anyways

Just thinking about Spock interacting with full blooded Vulcan children as an adult and seeing them not be as “Vulcan” as they’re supposed to be (like they’re still kids, they’re not gonna have a full handle on how to contain their emotions and stuff) and no one bats an eye at that, because they’re full-blooded, so their status as a Vulcan is never called into question

Anyways just thinking about Spock seeing a Vulcan child get excited and going to their mom to be picked up and how he felt he always had to reject getting picked up by Amanda to conform to a society that was always going to hold him to a higher standard than his peers

There has to be something Vlad isn’t telling us cause it doesn’t make any sense for Phantom to just separate Plasmius and Vlad and then merge with Plasmius, every time I see the scene it just confuses and enrages me
