(via Are faeries primarily astral beings in charge of growing things? And are we elfaerie descended from nature spirits, the dead or minor gods of antiquity?)  “The mist upon the morning, the dew upon the grass, are set there to remind us that Faerie did just pass.” — by The Silver Elves   . . . . .    “Many of us elfaerie came from space, in a sense, and we are learning and strengthening ours’elves upon the Earth. The Earth is weightlifting for us. We are building our muscles, growing stronger and will eventually master this realm, by mastering ours’elves, so the powers we had in space/the etheric realms, we will have here. By incarnating upon the Earth, we descended into gravity. We didn’t lose our powers, it is just that they are not, as yet, as powerful and effective here. But we’re learning.”

(via Star Elves: Their Customs and Their Magic) We Silver Elves are happy to announce our newest publication available on Amazon internationally. STAR ELVES: THEIR CUSTOMS AND THEIR MAGICS is all about star elves and by the term Star Elves, we mean elves who have a sense or feeling of having come from the stars. This relationship we feel to the stars may indicate a memory of our ethereal lives before we came to the Earth to manifest in material bodies rather than necessarily having had material bodies out among the stars. In our star lives, we were closer to the ‘star stuff’ we are all composed of and which has now ‘solidified’ into a relatively set form due to gravity. We Silver Elves say that we are the Elves of Starlight, Moonlight and the Radiance of the Forest, and therefore in a way we are Star Elves, Moon Elves and Wood Elves. We are like many elven and elfae folk who also relate to a number of different energies, spirits and kintypes. While the most common of the constellations that star elves feel connected to is by far Sirius and the Pleiades (and especially the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades), there are surely those elves who relate to other constellations and stars. And so in this book, which we have written for the star elves and all interested to learn about them, we will among other things define the various major constellations currently known and their individual mystical and spiritual energies and properties from our elvish point of view as they relate to or inform us of different Star Elves

(via By the Powers of Faerie, Now and Forevermore: A Daily Magic of Invoking Faerie and Elfin Over a Year's Time)
We Silver Elves are happy to announce our 75th published book on The Elven Way and magic! Here is where you can read more about it: https://silverelves.wordpress.com/2024/07/29/by-the-powers-of-faerie-now-and-forevermore-a-daily-magic-of-invoking-faerie-and-elfin-over-a-years-time/ By the Powers of Faerie, Now and Forevermore: A Daily Magic of Invoking Faerie and Elfin Over a Year’s Time is a book of daily affirmations designed to help all elfae kindred to attune to Elfin and Faerie and our path on the Elven Way on a daily basis. Staying on the elven path is often difficult with the mundane world constantly distracting us away from our elven nature and spiritual purposes. These daily affirmations aid us in staying centered within our elfin soulful spirit and upon our magical intentions to manifest Elfin-Faerie in our lives. Some of our kindred have requested that we write this book and so we have. These affirmations are meant to be used one a day, each day for a year’s time, 365 days, and for a leap year, a year and a day. There is a tradition in modern witchcraft that one must study for a year and a day before being initiated as a witch. However, if you happen to miss a day or two, or even a week or two doing your affirmations, don’t worry about it. Just continue where you left off, when you start again. We Silver Elves have used each of these affirmations ours’elves over a year’s time and found them quite helpful. We have previously said in our books that “The world is a chaotic storm and Elfin is its calm center.” These affirmations will help you on a daily basis to stay in this calm center to manifest Elfin in your life.

(via How do We Find Faerie? And How do we Deal with Being an Elf or Otherkin while Living in the Mundane World?) “. . . Faerie is all around us, living in potential everywhere and in nearly everyone, although as the sorcerers say: it takes an incredible feat of perception to see it.. . . every time you manifest as an elf or elfae other, you step closer to Faerie and Elfin, step into another dimension that is more Elfin in nature, on a path that leads step-by-step to the Land of our Dreams and Bright Imaginings. . . And as we elven know, this world we live in and that the mundane folk live in is Faerie. That’s important to understand! This is Faerie, it is just that most people don’t want to see that fact even when it is right before their noses. . . . We are, the all of us, sentient awareness creating forms out of stardust and starlight, energy given form by consciousness.”

In a certain way, the world of the normal folk and of men is also a part of Faerie. It is just what we Silver Elves call 'Faerie Unseen'. Faerie is there but those in Faerie Unseen just don't see it, don't recognize it, don't even acknowledge its existence and thus, for the most part, are not privy to its wonders and benefits, while still seeming to enjoy and actively participate in its darker aspects and regions. We each choose the part of Faerie we abide in for we create it with our own actions and behaviors. Faerie is what we make of it. It arises from our own vibrations and yet exists as pure potentiality all on its own.
Some may think that they are escaping Faerie, but one cannot escape from oneself. Although, many people lie to themselves about themselves, so perhaps that's more or less the same thing. They deny Faerie and are cursed by their own actions to live in the normal world or Faerie Unseen. Faerie, however, doesn't require our belief. It exists whether someone believes in it or not and it doesn't punish those who don't believe, although they often punish themselves without actually realizing they are doing so.
Faerie is like a large treasure chest filled with enchanted items. However, if you don't know or don't believe that treasure chest exists, you are unlikely to find it or open it. Those of us who have opened it are blest by its wonders.

(via Do the Elves Say that Trees Have Souls?) “. . . . And of our kindred the trees, we elfae have no doubt that they sense us, and in turn we certainly have affectionate and appreciative feelings for them. Surely, they feel our love as well.”Many religious sorts, but not all, are of the opinion that only human beings have souls. So, from that point of view, trees would not have souls, neither would cats, dogs or any other creature other than human beings, although apparently, usually according to these same people, humans can sell their souls to obtain great wealth and so forth. So from just such a perspective, while humans are born with souls, they don’t always keep them.     We should say that we Silver Elves usually define soul differently than most other folks do. What most folks would refer to as their immortal soul, we’d call the immortal spirit. To us, soul has to do with our link to, association with, and ability to communicate with, principally through feeling and energetic vibration, everything and everyone else in the Universe. Therefore, the question here, if you asked in from our point of view, would be: Do trees have spirits?

(via What Do Elves Mean by the Term Otherworldly? And Is Elfin a Place or State of Mind?) "When we Silver Elves define otherworldly, we are not talking entirely about imaginary worlds so much as visionary worlds, worlds that could be if we were, or most of us were, more spiritually developed, intelligent, loving and cooperative. When we speak of otherworldly, we mean a world that exists for some of us because we make it real in our own lives. It is otherworldly because it is so different in essence, culture and behavior from the normal cultures (in their various forms) that the mass of humanity embraces and believe to be the only real worlds because they believe in them. . . . We could call our realms alternate worlds, although we very much like the term otherworldly with its combination of spiritual, imaginal, mystical, magical and supernatural connotations. Which is part of why we elves are otherworldly beings in the first place. We embrace what others reject and we do so completely with all our hearts, minds and souls. . . . wherever we elfae folk go or abide there goes our spirits as well and there manifests Elfin/Faerie expressed outwardly by the radiance of our inner elvish being."

(via Does time flow differently in Faerie?) “. . . . while time doesn’t materially flow differently in Elfin, although that is surely possible in some instances, we do experience time in a different way. We have, for the most part, slowed ours’elves down and thus experience time as moving like a gentle creek flowing calmly toward the river. It is subjective time, certainly, and it takes a shift of perspective to perceive, but then that’s quite a bit of what Elfin, Faerie and magic are all about anyway, experience the world and life in a whole Other way”

(via Do faeries die? And do we elves grow trees that never die?) The question of “do faeries die?”  was posed in one of our Silver Elves Facebook groups and the answer, as Tolkien pointed out so astutely concerning we elven in general, is both yes and no. All things material die, which is to say change form. Death is merely a recognition that our material form has transformed. Faeries, in as much as they have material bodies, of necessity will die or change form. The material world is an illusion in the sense that it is formed from energy that takes different shapes. The shapes change but the energy that composes it remains, for energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it just changes shape. So, in so far as we are energy, we do not die, we just alter our appearance. Therefore, the energy that composes faeries, and everything else for that matter, does not die. Although, it does shape shift, which is something we elfae are noted for doing. And what is shape shifting but changing form? And we’ve already noted that death is changing form, although, usually a complete or radical change of form. We change form like we change clothes. For we are spirits who inhabit bodies, not spirits who are bodies.

(via Finding Faerie: Answers to Questions About Being an Elf and Following the Elven Path, Volume 8)
Finding Faerie by The Silver Elves (available on Amazon and may be ordered from your local bookstore) explores questions often asked about the magical realms of Faerie and Elfin; the types and characteristics of elves, elfae (a word we Silver Elves coined some decades ago to include elves and all other fae of the Faerie Realm) lifestyle, values and culture; Faerie realm magic and magical studies; The Faeries and Otherkin; and some miscellaneous topics from an elven perspective. Some of the specific questions answered in Finding Faerie are (there are over 100 altogether in the book): Does time flow differently in Faerie? Is there evil in Elfin and Faerie? Does the moon have its own Faerie Realm? Are we elfae descended from nature spirits, the dead or minor gods of antiquity? Do some elfae live in the sky realms? Is it a law of Faerie that if a normal human offers we elfae a bargain, we have to accept it no matter how poor or unjust the trade may be? Is there a Wheel of Fortune in Faerie that only kindness turns? Are the words of power in Faerie the words of love? Is there one king over all kings in Faerie? If a human eats human food after eating faerie food and stops eating faerie food, can they escape from Faerie? Are there as some say five branches to the elven race, being aquatic, gray, high, dark and wood? Do sea elves live beneath the sea? Do we elves have high born and low born? Do we elves have a keen sense of hearing? Are we elves able to communicate with each other telepathically? Are we elves animal whisperers? Do elves sleep? Do we elves become adults after a hundred years? Do we elves have infravision? Do we elfae have the power to make ours’elves invisible? Are we elfae compulsive dancers? Do we elves smoke? Are elven vortexes (covens) hierarchical? What do we think of those elfae who wish to ‘war’ on humanity? Do we elves like to travel around in flocks? Do crosses banish us Elven? Do we elfae tend to live in bands instead of as couples? Are all elves proficient at swordplay and archery? Are we elfae notably conservative and opposed to innovation? Can you break curses with an elven star? How do we Silver Elves cast magical spells? Is one of the secrets of Faerie magic to wish well? How do you know when a sign or omen is genuine? How do you keep your magic from having negative effects on others? What is the difference between Willing and Wishing? Are we elves magic by nature or do we need to do magic? How do you recognize when a stranger is also otherkin? Do faeries die? Does a four-leaf clover allow one to see elfae? If a tree sprite leaves its tree and walks among humans will it become human, unable ever to return? Are the Therians and other animal folk magical beings? Is Sylvan the language of dryads and pixies? Are elfae older than the oldest gods of mythological record? Did we elves teach the trees to speak? Are we elfae the caretakers and guardians of the dead? Are those who manifested as elfae and then leave the Elven Path and never return really elfae?

Hope you enjoy reading our blog article on the magic of Therians and other animal folk. “To link ones’elf to a particular animal, to feel that one is that animal in essence, is to feel an association to that animal’s being, which is its nature, its energy and its power, which is to say, its Magic. . . . It is not just we Silver Elves who associate animals of various kinds with magic. All aboriginal peoples of which we know looked upon animals as being magic. And many if not most of them had individual totems and clan totems. They associated thems’elves with bears, foxes, wolves, panthers and various other creatures because they believed that this association increased their own powers, thus magic, because those animals were powerful and were symbolic of their own power and spiritual instinctual knowledge.”

(via MOON ELVES: Their Customs and Their Magic)    MOON ELVES: Their Customs and Their Magic is all about moon elves and by the term Moon Elves, we mean elves for whom a relationship with the Moon is an important, but not necessarily exclusive, part of their lifestyle and magic. We Silver Elves, for instance, say we are the elves of moonlight, starlight and the radiance of the forest. Therefore, we could easily call ours’elves Moon Elves, but we could also say we are Star Elves or Starlight Elves, or Forest or Wood Elves, and all that would be true. In Part One of Moon Elves you will find a description of some of the various methods Moon Elves use in their magic. Some of the topics in this book on moon elven culture and magic include: Elven Moon Bathing, Moon Water, Moon Gazing, the Elfin Moon Garden and Moon Garden Herbs, Elven Moon Weddings, Elfin Moon Dancing, Moon Elven Totems and Familiars, Moon Gods and Goddesses, the Day Moon, Light Side and Dark Side of the Moon, Elven Moon Crystals, The Moon in the Tarot, and more (scroll down to see the table of contents). Also, we will cover in Part Two of Moon Elves the various energies of the different cycles as they progress through the Moon Months and the energies best utilized or evoked at that time. In that way, this book is a sort of Farmer’s Almanac, although really a Moon Elf Magic Almanac. Covered in this book are the names and meanings that moon elves have for the Elven Moon Zodiac, and these are globally significant rather than seasonally specific to a particular hemisphere. Part Three of Moon Elves contains some examples of moon elf tribes and a narrative description of each to give you an idea of the varieties of moon tribes that are among us in modern times — including their lifestyle, healing abilities, ancient ways, art and magic, and relationship to nature and to mankind.

(via The Elfin Star Runes: Following the Elf Star to Faerie) We Silver Elves are so very happy to announce the publication of our 70th book THE ELFIN STAR RUNES: Following the Elf Star to Faerie. Our 70 books are on elfin life and magic, elven oracles, our elven language Arvyndase, and living The Elven Way, and we know you will find The Elfin Star Runes both wondrous and delightful to help you on your path to manifest Faerie in your life.
The Elfin Star Runes: Following the Elf Star to Faerie contains an original elven rune set of 49 runes. It is set up into 7 chapters with 7 runes described and illustrated in each chapter that relate to the elfin magicks that guide us in the spiritual evolution of the elfae peoples — The Magic, Healing, Thaumaturgy, Enchantment, Sorcery, Wizardry, and Witchcraft. These 7 groups of runes relate to an important energy on each of the points of the seven-pointed elven star: with Magic relating to the first point of the star or Will; Healing relating to the second point or Love; Thaumaturgy to the third point or Art; Enchantment to the fourth point or Innovation; Sorcery to the fifth point or Truth; Wizardry to the sixth point or Reflection; and Witchcraft to the seventh point or Celebration.
The Elfin Star Runes may be used to assist you in what you need to develop as you progress upon the Elven Way for s’elf development and further awakening to your elven nature. They also may be used as an oracle system to know what the wisdom of the ancient elven has to say to you. We Silver Elves often draw an elfin star rune for further information to accompany our daily spiritual practice of throwing the I-Ching or in a tarot reading about a specific question for which we are in need of guidance. The Elfin Star Runes may also be used for your magic to write words in both English and Arvyndase, the magical language of the Silver Elves, and also in numbers.
All 49 runes or sigils for these runes can be laid upon an elven star and will be found to conform to the various lines of the star. Thus, we call them The Elfin Star Runes.
Complete instructions are included in the book for making, drawing, and interpreting the elven star runes. It is really up to you, but we suggest that you draw two runes. The reason for this is two fold: 1.) two runes will give you quite a lot of guidance because you will have both the meanings of each rune and the meaning of the relationship between the two runes to read in this book and to consider in your oracle, and 2.) we Silver Elves have always found that elven spirits much prefer to work together and so if you are using the runes you draw as sigils in your magic, then it is best to have two if possible.

(via Are tales of elfae based upon the displaced Picts, Britons and Celtic tribes? And what is the association of we elves with whirlwinds?) “. . . .we elfae are ethereal beings in the sense that we are energetic beings or spirits but that we also have and had a material manifestation, as most ancient tales about us proclaim. We were and are real people with a genuine culture (diverse though it is) rather in our way like the ancient Celtic tribal peoples, whom we Silver Elves, at least, and surely others of our kind, embrace as our ancient elven kindred along with many other tribal peoples of ancient days. . . . “

(via Elfin, Fae and Otherkin Tribes: Varieties of Elfae Kin) ELFIN, FAE and OTHERKIN TRIBES: Varieties of Elfae Kin is the fifth book by The Silver Elves in the series of elf, faerie, fae and otherkin tribe narratives of the modern elfae community. Their first book is composed strictly of Elf tribes; the second book in the series describes Faerie, Fae and Otherkin tribes; and the third and fourth books are comprised of Elves, Faerie, Fae and Otherkin tribes. Elfin, Fae and Otherkin Tribes includes 107 tribes of elves, faerie, fae and otherkin, all of which are newly written and are not found in the first four volumes in this series. After publishing the first four books in this series, the Silver Elves continued writing and gifting tribe narratives for their kindred who filled out the kin type survey they had posted on their website and contacted them asking for a tribe narrative. So this fifth book in the series contains all of these new tribe narratives to this date and is dedicated to a variety of tribes of elven kind, faeries, fae that are faerie blends, otherkin, otherworldlies, and miscellaneous assorted fae. The tribe narratives in this volume are all newly published and are not found in the four previous books in the series. These tribe narratives will beautifully describe to you about their history, their unique powers, their unique magics and spiritual beliefs and practices, their way of governing, their spell crafting and herbal adeptship, along with their lifestyle and special creative interests and abilities.
