It’s so hard to talk to other warrior cats fans irl because I’ll state something obvious about the series and they’ll hit me with “how are the clans xenophobic???” And it’s like Oh Buddy

Its so funny how karma bit oakstar in the ass. His son became a kittypet, his great grandson is a disgraced traitor to thunderclan and mated a kittypet, a kittypet is considered one of the greatest leaders of thunderclan in history and his daughter is in a toxic marriage with oakstar’s great grandson. I know he’s been seething in starclan for the past 7 generations

I feel like I have a moral obligation to tell you all about my father’s warrior cats oc, Eagleratbreath, named Eagleratkit at birth (which my grandmother would absolutely name her first born btw)

warrior cats where instead of swiftpaw and brightpaw, it's tawnypaw and bramblepaw. they want to prove they're not traitors by finding what's stealing thunderclan prey. bramblepaw survives (brightpaw/heart), because he looks like tigerclaw, so tigerclaw has to see what his actions did like they happened to him

This actually sounds very interesting.... Tigerclaw seemed to have a specific soft spot for Bramble so I wonder if it would have been enough to move him... seeing what he'd done to his own son. Who knows.

But mostly how it will affect Bramblepaw in the long run... I wonder if Bluestar would treat him more harshly because he's Tigerclaw's son.

And maybe going through the "learning to love yourself and ignoring how others choose to make assumptions based on your appearance" personal arc might have changed him in this context. At the very least, he never would have started training with Tigerclaw in the dark forest after what he did to him and Tawnypaw.

When I was 11 I was really into the (rudimentary) genetics I’d been taught up to that point so I decided to cover it in my science fair project. but when I did research, a decent chunk of examples were with ginger and tortoiseshell cats?? So I made that specific focus and built a bunch of clay cats for it and everything. Anyways everyone else in my class really liked it but I had to sit there knowing I willingly made spottedfire hypokits.
