@lamare-sims Supplies Mod Stuff Repo'd to BB's Niche & Jonesi's Blanket

I love the cleaning supplies mod, it's genius! I cloned a few of the objects and repo'd them so it's easier to fit them into the decor of different homes. They all have new guids and wont conflict with the originals. They've been thoroughly play tested to make sure they work properly, have empty states, and can be refilled (my test Sims are super clean now)

The Storage Cube is repo'd to the Jonesi blanket, the texture is upside down but that doesn't matter for most Jonesi recolors. Everything else is repo'd to BB's niche. The cleaning supplies on each object are a custom subset that can be recolored, all the original recolors are bundled with the meshes

Lifetime Want Chooser

Hi all!

To start off this simblr, here's something I've just finished.

This is an object for the Sims 2 that lets you manually choose a lifetime want for your sim, instead of cycling one by one!

I made it while working on 50 new lifetime wants and realizing what a huge pain it is to go through them in testing. If only we could just choose an LTW, I thought. Well, :)

Now, here's a little something.

I know people have been missing these and have been downloading them from my old LJ account, and I don't think this version of Downtown even exists there. So here's some (re)uploads for you.

Clean Downtown WITH downtownies (but no NPCs) and still-dead Tricous and Rainelle with some memories and cleaned up genetics. Downtownies with broken face templates have been fixed. Tricou teens are properly set as related to Jon Smith Tricou:

High fashion can come from low places. In a style I like to think of as Nouveau Derelicte, I'm reimagining trash as couture. Those boots at the bottom of the pond, they were made for walking...the runway. I've paired them with @deedee-sims' conversion of EP09DungareesDenim for a look that's eye-catching and eco-friendly.

This is just the first slightly squishy step in a massive rebranding of kaluxsims to focus on reclaimed junk as designer gear.

For the sporty types, I added the reclaimed boots to @mdpthatsme's conversion of the TS4BG fishing outfit. Catch and release? Try catch and WEAR!

Both the pants and outfit are AM only, with fat and preg morphs. Set as Everyday.

Today I have converted every counter from The Sims 4!

Islands will come at a later date - there are some counters that have islands though!

Sims 2 sinks and custom sink should work with these.

Counter Top meshes / textures take after their Sims 4 counterpart, so there is some variation now!

Some sets have a backsplash and non-backsplash version. The non-backsplash versions lines up nicely when backed up against each other.

If you have older copies from previous sets, I would update with these ones as I have added fixes and what not. Life and death / Home Chef Hustle / Horse Ranch

Doors swing correctly on the straight meshes, the Outer Corner pieces they do not.

Upper cabinets are located in Surfaces > misc

The Outer Corners, sims can use them BUT I would suggest either putting a slot blocker on them, or a light or phone, as it can look a bit wonky with the slot placement of the food prep.

All Counters have a slaved subset - details; this is the pots and pans and cutlery inside the counters! They are slaved to the "Harbringer" counter set. So make sure that one is always in!

"i really love the sims" is a 64-page love letter to the sims franchise, spanning all 4 mainline titles as well as a collection of my favorite sims spin-off games.

the digital version of this zine is free/pwyw! part of what makes the sims series so special is the massive amount of work made available for free by passionate modders and custom content creators. from new hairstyles and clothing to entire gameplay expansions and custom software, their generosity has been foundational in fostering the creative community that surrounds these games and it's what has inspired me to release the full zine online for free. i spent dozens of hours writing, editing, and designing this zine, but it's nothing compared to the thousands of hours i've spent downloading custom content for the sims.

physical copies of the zine are also available for purchase! they've been gorgeously printed in black-and-white by a local printer and make a lovely, tangible token of affection for the series. the physical version of the zine is $10 and ships to anywhere in the united states (because i don't know how to ship/price for outside the US and i'm scared)

THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

Kerfur Servo

I made this months ago after watching a let's play of a game which featured a robot similar to this.

The body was made editing some of deedee-sims's 3t2 plumbots.

The head is a new mesh. It's far from perfect because it's like the third mesh I ever made from scratch. The head is an accessory, you can change it with the Gussy Up mod. The face/screen is animated, the eyes blink every three seconds. I also made two more animated recolors, one displays a blue screen of death-type error, and another a low battery screen (preview video below, slight flashing lights warning).

I recommend using invisible genetics to create sims with these parts. Like these ones by Bink13y.

I included a tutorial for changing a servo's appearance, and four sims for that purpose. This requires the invisible genetics linked above, SimPE and Alternate Sim Surgery.

Edited mesh included. This will work with the original colors, however, I have replaced the default white from Ginger's original car with the Fiat Red one you see in the first pic. These recolors will semi-work with the original mesh, there will be a slightly misplaced shadow under the front Fiat logo if you're using Ginger's mesh. Mesh changes: Moved & resized the license plates to closer resemble the position that license plates are usually located on these type of cars. Moved the Fiat logo to where it would actually go. Slightly reshaped the front. Yanked the front bumper back into the car so it's not floating. Fixed direction on interior faces under the backseat. Texture changes: Added slight shading & better seats. Changed the interior of the door to wood paneling. Added the trunk latch & the 3 extra vent slots that the 74 has. The license plate is in Simlish. Why is this a 1974?: It's actually pretty hard to tell what year the 126p is in this low-poly of a model, since there are very few changes from year-to-year cosmetically (it looked about the same for its entire run), but what really sold me on 1974 was the whitewall tires. Color Theory: Look, Fiat has some good colors. Just behold them. I needed all of them.

You Get: 35 car colors. The interior is its own recolor channel but shares textures with the body of the car, mix&match however you want.
