Why is a Facial important?

Hey spa lovelies, it’s Christina here from The Skin Spa, Expert Therapist,

Have you ever heard of that meme, “Facials, because filters don’t follow you around in real life”

So true!

A facial is the quickest way of cleansing, reviving, and brightening faded skin, leaving the skin light, soft and glowing. A facial also does a thorough job of relaxing frazzled nerves so that you emerge not only looking younger but also feeling fresher and more relaxed!

Golden Turmeric Hummus 

with KIKI HEALTH Organic Turmeric PowderServes 4, 

Prep Time 10 Mins

Hummus is quick, easy and filling. The perfect mid-afternoon healthy snack as a dip with vegetable sticks, or as a nourishing topping for salads or hot meals. This hummus uses Kiki Health Organic Turmeric Powder as a boost of curcumin for health benefits and to taste.

Turmeric has been used throughout history for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties, and is used traditionally to treat skin conditions, digestive issues and various aches and pains. It is common in Indian, Moroccan, Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines to add a mildly aromatic flavour, and its rich golden-orange colour will give your food a boost of vibrancy if you’re entertaining!

Main Ingredients:

400g can of chickpeas, drained (but save some liquid)

2 to 3 tablespoons of saved liquid from chickpeas (less liquid for a thicker hummus)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Kiki Health Organic Turmeric Powder

1 large clove of garlic

1 tablespoon tahini

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend into a smooth texture. Serve your fresh Turmeric Hummus in a bowl as a dip for vegetable sticks, crackers or bread, or add a spoonful to your favourite salad or hot meal.
