Why the heck am I going to college?
Man, why the heck am I going to college, well in my case that’s a hard question to answer. I guess the main, and pretty boring reason is to get a degree so I can try and find a job I don’t hate. Okay, okay I know that that’s a very pessimistic look at why I’m getting my degree, and honestly I’m more focused on learning than getting my degree, and that’s probably why it’s taking me a bit longer to graduate; but hey, all in time right? Alright, back to trying to answer this seemingly innocent question. Jumping around in my mind is all the angles I could take when writing this, but usually with me the best thing to do is to just write what comes to mind off the bat. So the second, and more personal reason I’m going to college is because both my parents didn’t finish a four year, and it has always been a goal of mine to be the first in the family to do so; I also run my own business, and there’s so much to learn from the business professors and other professors I have that it would be idiotic of me to try and learn it all on my own without direction. Finally, the last reason I have is that learning and being a student is fun; I hope that even when I’ve completed college that I will keep my curiosity and wanting to learn.
