I like audiobooks, but honestly, I usually listen to them when I’m getting ready to go to bed. I almost always doze off and miss part of it, then have no idea where I left off. *sight*

9.8.20✨
📚Do you ever listen to audiobooks? If so, how often, and are they effective?
Tbh I’ve never truly tried an audiobook... I listened to a sample once and it was okay until the female narrator changed her voice to a really weird deep masculine voice for the guy character...I just couldn’t do it😂 BUT I hope to try again someday. I’ve been listening to a podcast while I work, and it’s been going well, but I’m concerned if I try an audiobook I won’t concentrate on it enough (while I’m working) and I’ll miss some important plot info..😅

Book Review: Prophet Reborn by Diane M. Johnson
Book Review: Prophet Reborn by Diane M. Johnson
CW: Profanity, death, suicide, violence, religion, religious cult When I read Perfect Prophet last year, I kept hoping there would be a sequel. The book had left off perfectly for a sequel and while I had a feeling there would be one, I wasn’t positive. I was glad I was right. Prophet Reborn picks up a bit after Perfect Prophetleaves off and this time, the book focuses more on…

Like, I suddenly want to read this?
I did not realize this was even a thing. I have no clue how to feel.
How does this even work?
“We deduce it was YOU~! that committed and planned the crime, Mr Trump!”
“Eh, it is what it is. I wasn’t ever around that murderer guy. Sure, I took a photo with him but I have photos taken with so many people. And they were tremendous people. Witch hunt. Such tremendous people. My plans. I am a victim of the fake news…”
“Bro, we’re on page 400. You’re supposed to confess now and quickly wrap the story up.”

#BlackLivesMatter
I haven’t posted any reviews for a few days and I’ve taken a break from social media. (I don’t consider blogging to be social media if it’s your blog is your entire website.) Part of the reason for this is the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Social media sites are beginning to suppress the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag – I know that in the past day or two before I took a break, I saw a significant drop…

Book Review: Truth or Beard by Penny Reid
Book Review: Truth or Beard by Penny Reid
CW: Sexual content, profanity, mild violence
If you know me, you know I’m not the biggest fan of romance. I will read it, but I don’t love it, and I definitely don’t continue with a series of it. This one is an exception.
I’ve fallen in love with Green Valley, Tennessee and most of the people who live there. While I’m not in love with the Iron Wraiths biker gang, I am intrigued by the…
