I just finished an adorable little game called Calico by Peachy Keen Games! Do you like cats? Magical girls? Magical girls who are also cats? If you said yes, this is the game for you!
In Calico, you run a cat cafe on a magical island full of all sorts of cuddly animals and fabulous friends. It's a very small game that definitely requires a controller to play, and the visuals can be a bit janky, but in a way I find very charming.
I also recommend you give the soundtrack a listen even if you don't play the game; it's very soothing.
Here's what I was hoping to post last week! The only way I could get it true to color here was a screenshot, but the original, high quality version can be seen on my Redbubble!
I wanted to explore that intangible, internal feeling of gender. Gender has been segmented into very rigid categories and icons; pink or blue? But so many people have this internal attachment to a more nebulous feeling of what their gender is or isn't.
I wanted to express reaching for that inner feeling of gender.
The colours are inspired by my own experience as a nonbinary AFAB person.
Guys, I have another piece I really wanted to post today, but technical difficulties are grinding me to dust. Hopefully I can post it next week, but for now have an adorable chameleon.
This lovely pattern is by @skeinspider and is available for free on YouTube. They've also got an adorable axylotl pattern that is calling my name.
Yesterday was a rough health day, so I'm posting today instead 💜
Had a passport renewal appointment yesterday, so this seems like an appropriate piece to post. Shoutout to everyone for whom "home" is somewhere they aren't or who doesn't know where home is at all. Take care of yourselves.
I just love this page so much. The fact the bubble panels in the middle all read seamlessly is amazing. I'm always in awe of Senna's art skills, but man, the paneling on this one I just can't stop looking at.
Dark Science #143 - Diablo Training
Do you like stories about gay cyborgs and reality-warping mysteries in an art deco cyberpunk dystopia based on a never-ending World's Fair? Consider reading my comic, Dark Science!
I have been playing so much Cult of the Lamb. Last I played was like, when it came out, and man, is it different now. Everything they've added is so good I'm tempted to go full completionist.
So I of course had to make some fanart! This design is available as a rad sticker as well as many other things on my Redbubble!
There's also a sale going on! 30% off apparel now! 25% off everything starting Feb 19th!
I'm back! We drove across most of the US, got to our destination, and then I immediately got sick! It's been a hectic time, but I'm alive and more or less well.
Here's a little piece I did using every colour in a marker pack I have. I don't love how all the colours go together, but I do like the swirlyness and almost cityscape vibe it has.
