Me explaining my craft:

So you see, my money incense is actually taking coins and putting them with hot water and certain herbs. The steam extracts the spirits of the coins, the herbs and let's them out into the area and I also get a funky little potion to anoint money bags with.

Yes, this can apply to anything. Nothings preventing me from putting a nail into hot water with salt and black pepper to make a binding water incense and ablution...

Witchcraft Exercises - Witchy Inspo Journal

Not sure what to do with all those notebooks you’ve collected for future use in your craft? (Don’t lie, we all have a stack somewhere.) Turn them into inspo journals!

Create and maintain a journal where each page is a quote or song lyric or picture that inspires you in your craft or defines some element of your practice. Use scrapbooking materials, washi tape, stickers, stamps, and any art supplies you wish. If you’re skilled at drawing or painting, you can do that too. 

The journal can be a simple notebook or a three-ring binder or a nice scrapbook from the craft store, whatever works for you. Try to do a page a week if you can, and collect ideas for future pages when you can’t. Update as often as you feel inspired to do so and enjoy some witchy art therapy.

This can also be turned into a devotional activity, with your inspo journal dedicated to your chosen deity(ies) or pantheon. A devotional inspo journal can also make a great private altar if you don’t have the space for one in your home or if you’re a stealth witch who can’t practice or venerate openly.

use overdrive, libby, hoopla, cloudlibrary, and kanopy instead of amazon and audible.

use firefox instead of chrome or opera (both are made with chromium, which blocks functionality for ad-blockers. firefox isn't based on chromium).

use mega or proton drive instead of google drive.

get rid of bloatware

use libreoffice instead of microsoft office suite

use vetted sites on r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH for free movies, books, games, etc.

use trakt or letterboxd instead of imdb.

use storygraph instead of goodreads.

use darkpatterns to find mobile game with no ads or microtransactions

use ground news to read unbiased news and find blind spots in news stories.

use mediahuman or cobalt to download music, or support your favorite artists directly through bandcamp

make youtube bearable by using mtube, newpipe, or the unhook extension on chrome, firefox, or microsoft edge

use search for a cause or ecosia to support the environment instead of google

use thriftbooks to buy new or used books (they also have manga, textbooks, home goods, CDs, DVDs, and blurays)

use flashpoint to play archived online flash games

find books, movies, games, etc. on the internet archive! for starters, here's a bunch of David Attenborough documentaries and all of the Animorphs books

burn your music onto cds

use pdf24 (available online or as a desktop app) instead of adobe

use unroll.me to clean your email inboxes

use thunderbird, mailfence, countermail, edison mail, tuta, or proton mail instead of gmail

remove bloatware on windows PC, macOS, and iOS X

remove bloatware on samsung X

use pixelfed instead of instagram or meta

use NCH suite for free software like a file converter, image editor, video editors, pdf editor, etc.

AYO ITS THE FELLAS

a batch of new OCs?? made them ehhh late last year, early this year abouts? only getting to drawing them now cos i have proper medication hehhehHEH i'm winning now fellas

In order left to right, Odilia, Izyn, Citrine, n Rainer

Izyn was the character I created first. It came from a piece of artwork I never finished....

I had seen a video of a ram getting its horns cut, cos they were threatening to grow into its eyes. I thought that'd make an interesting character design, but I wondered what would cause something like that to happen to a humanoid ram who could theoretically cut their horns themself?

I came to the idea of a god who was captured and chained by its own people, its words and very existence ignored and bastardized by those who claimed to follow and love it, all for their own selfish benefit. A message of Love corrupted into one of Consumption. Hm. I wonder what that concept could have been inspired by. Don't look outside.

Anyway it *was* going to stay a single illustration but oopsies I never finished it and oopsies part 2 i made more guys and a setting and a story and Strange Quills helped mwah mwah

i won't ramble about Quill's characters here, but I WILL rant about mine cos uhhhhhhh we all die someday ig yeehaw

Here are some alternate versions of the illustrations above! Izyn's gets to show something of its OG concept, much more simplified than my abandoned illust. Odilia and Citrine get to show off their rad chest tattoos. Because Odilia was a guard and Citrine was an attendant for the leaders/Izyn. I will not explain further.

Rainer doesn't get a special illustration cos they don't have a cool tattoo or horrible injury, only a dubious life status. Here is a cute little doodle of them and a seal. Also a cute sketch of Izyn cos Izyn is a cutie
