Marvel had the most interesting characters and FUCKED IT for timing reasons. Oh my god.
Give me the deleted Steve scenes in canon or give me death.

Reputedly a scene was filmed where during the final battle Captain America saves an old man trying to protect his grandchildren. He tells him to ‘Get them to cover’ but as he walks away the old man asks him “Cap, is that really you?’. He turns and noting the man’s World War 2 veteran lapel pin trades salutes with him. As Captain America sprints away the children ask their grandfather ‘Do you know him?’ and he replies ‘We all know him’.

This may seem a little stupid and is super not what I normally post on this blog, but I just want to talk, I guess.
I'm a therian, I know I am, and I've known for a while. I have four big theriotypes, in order of personal importance they are; Highland cattle, raccoon domestic cat, and domestic dog. I am all of these things in my heart of hearts. My very soul is split between these lovely facets of myself, however, I feel a little disconnected from the Therein/alterhuman community. No matter how many times I try to get into it, I always feel so distant because my main kintype (Highland cattle) isn't one often shared by anyone. Sure I'm a dog, probably a mutt, and a cat, probably a mainecoon, but the biggest parts of me are a raccoon, and a bull, so I feel isolated within a community that is already so niche.
I'm also a little older than most other therians I've met. Tiktok is a whole other thing that I am a little scared of, but here on Tumblr & when I was on the Amino, I was older by a few years. While that isn't a problem, that just kinda makes me feel even more alone, really. I'm an adult, technically, and I've met maybe one other adult therian personally
Maybe I'll start my side blog again and just do my thing. This doesn't actually mean anything, just me rambling on about nothing.

"gnc straight man being called a faggot doesn't experience homophobia" what the fuck are you talking about. there's absolutely no logic in anything like that. we have kids who literally killed themselves because of homophobic abuse in schools and you would dare to tell them it isn't homophobia that killed them because they weren't actually gay? insane. and so fucking cruel

For everyone who is getting upset that people are angry about Thunderbolts* and who keep telling us that 'context' is going to fix everything, I need you to understand that 'context' is not going to fix what has already happened, what is happening right now, and what is going to continue to happen for the next (checks calendar) 360 days until Doomsday releases.
Yes, maybe context will allow us to rehabilitate Bucky's character, because they will show that this was all some long game or Bucky and Sam were working together all along, or Bucky is actually a Skrull, or something. My little sambucky-loving heart really, really wants to believe they can (and will) do this, but honestly, it is going to be a stretch.
Context retroactively is not going to fix the fact that Marvel knowingly threw Sam Wilson under the bus in that pcs, knowingly set the scene up to imply that he's being unreasonable, knowingly allowed Alexei to call him a 'dumb, litigious man', while Bucky, his supposed best friend, said nothing.
And context sure as hell isn't going to fix the fact that Marvel was all over the internet yesterday replacing Thunderbolts* posters with The New Avengers posters and getting their cast to do it for the likes (Sebastian, I am especially looking at you, because you are meant to be Anthony's friend and seriously, wtf are you doing). And maybe this is just a big publicity stunt because they are freaking out about their soft opening weekend numbers, but it doesn't matter. By doing this, they have undercut their own film, which devoted the entire credits sequence to showing how in universe the 'New Avengers' are a joke and not seen as legitimate. As soon as they started slapping those posters up in the real world, they destroyed their own satire and told the audience that this 'team' is legitimate, that they're not a joke, and, by extension, that everything people have been saying about Sam Wilson, all the hate that's being hurled at him (and at Anthony Mackie), is also legitimate.
You cannot tell me that the people who would have been in the room when these decisions were made do not know exactly what they've done, what they've enabled, what they've tacitly approved.
This isn't an Age of Ultron situation, where some people liked the movie better once everything else came out and all the dots were connected.
Context can't fix this.
And if you don't get that, if you can't see that, just go ahead and block me.

Steve Rogers is a babe. Like khaleesi Game of Thrones level of babe. He is just FINE.
No matter the version - live action, animated, cartoon, comic, fan art - he is a vision.
The Disney/marvel version of him is somehow cute, pretty, sexy, and hot at the same time. While also being badass when he needs to be.
It’s a very hard feat to achieve as a male character but Steve can do that.
Also, his body/figure is very unique. He has broad shoulders and broad/ample chest pec area but he has a very narrow waist and he also obviously has America’s ass. I’ve always thought it was the male version of an hour glass figure - which is the most desirable shape for women (at least it used to be).
I definitely think Steve is a male version of blonde bombshell but I don’t think it was intentionally meant to be that way. It just happened and I think that’s what makes it even more great. He developed and evolved into this as a character and then in the movies they elevated it likely also unintentionally but it worked.
THIS.
You're so real for this because I've noticed it since CATFA. To begin with, pre-serum Steve just goes against every physique a typical hero is supposed to have. Then he gets the serum and gets big and is supposed to wow all the ladies when in actuality his physique is less God of Thunder and more, Disney Princess.
He's clean shaven everywhere- except for Infinity War which I hated (it was not his best look & I hated the beard don't @ me)- doesn't have the facial hair like MOST of the male mcu heroes and has bimbo blonde hair. Not to mention his eyes that are just gorgeous.
And most of it is Chris Evans' natural features, but in Avengers 1, when his hair was buzzed for Snowpiercer, they did a lace for him and like, THE HAIR WAS FLOPPY AND SOFT AND SHINY AND GORGEOUS. like I think we can all agree Avengers 1 (baby Cap) was the most gorgeous he's looked followed closely by Winter Soldier Steve. He is totally a blonde bombshell.
Not to mention the narrative surrounding his character, especially in the MCU. The guys all make fun of him for being a virgin- like, sure let's make the guy's sex life a focal point of his character arc- like they do with female characters. They have Nat trying to find him a date, sort of like girls do in those early 2000s movies with their besties. Steve himself is a very tactical fighter and has more moves in common with Black Widow than Bucky who is an absolute unit. Steve's a ballerina in combat, light on his toes, pretty and lean. Not bulky like some of the comics make him out to be.
And let's just talk about his LIPS!
Like, he's got the plumpest, most plushy soft pillow-looking lips I've ever seen on a guy. So, in addition to the body, he's also got the pretty face. Long wispy lashes, full, red lips, big blue eyes and a clean shaven face. He's every typical "guy's" fantasy- just in guy form. Pair his physical features with his sweet, shy disposition and maybe that's why everyone flirts with him so much.
He's absolutely endearing and totally flips the usual "Alpha-esque" idea of what a male superhero is supposed to look and act like.

Also i dont think people realise erasure is oppression
Not letting trans men be represented in media and seen living as trans men stops younger trans boys from knowing people like them exists and that its ok and normal and there's a community of people out there for them. It stops young trans boys from being able to realise binding and tape exists and that one day they can medically transition. It stops them from knowing theres language and words to discuss who they are and what they experience. It stops trans man from living out loud and pushes us out of sight so it's mush easier to attack us and oppress us.

I saw there was a bonus episode and I thought it'd be Conclave related, whomp whomp.
Maybe if the pope wanted us to do more papal content he should have retweeted us when he had the chance
