the boy is mine
"the boy is divine boy is mine" synosis ☆ you were in no way a jealous woman, but when a girl crosses her limits, you decide a little reminder is needed starring ☆ satoru gojo, suguru geto, choso kamo, yuji itadori, megumi fushiguro, toge inumaki content ☆ fluff, slight posessiveness, language, crack <3
satoru gojo
you were honestly used to girls fawning over you gorgeous snow leopard of a boyfriend. in fact, you took pride in having such a loyal, ethereal boyfie. but this girl was getting on your nerves.it was supposed to be a memorable evening with your friends at a festival at the nearest shrine. apparently, this girl was an old classmate of satoru's and would not stop yapping in his ear. she's been trailing behind him the whole evening, no matter how many times he brushed her off, or made excuses to take you side. shoko and suguru have physically restrained you two times now. the only thing keeping you from throwing hands with this bitch is the fact that your poor, pretty yukata would suffer. the final straw is when she looks over at you and asks ‘is she like your cousin or something?’ before satoru can say anything, you stand up and walk over to her. even though you were both around the same height, you seemed to tower over her. ‘actually, i'm his girlfriend.’ you say sweetly, contrary to the way you were looming above her. ‘very funny, no way satoru would date someone like you’ she laughs. ‘and you think he would date you?’ you ask, voice pure venom, hidden behind a polite tone. ‘well obviously’ she says, not backing down. that's when you grab satoru by the scruff of his neck and kiss him, messy, with tongue and teeth, while the girl watches in horror.when you finally break apart, you lick your lips as though you were savoring his taste. ‘the boy is mine,’ you smirk at her terrified expression ‘so sweetie, better try to get over your high school crush, he's taken.’ you leave her baffled as you grab satoru's arm and lead him back to where the group was sitting. suguru wolf whistles, nanami and haibara are shocked and shoko ends the recording she made of the whole ordeal.you huff and sit down. the dopey smile is on satoru's face as he leans over and whispers, ‘this boy is definintely yours.’
suguru geto
god, she really has no shame does she? you watch her as she flirts with your boyfriend, while you're sat in his car. she was a mother at the girl's school, she'd been harassing suguru for the past week so you decided to tag along today. you stare at her in disgust as she tries to sweet talk him while the girls and her son are watching. you finally lose it when she tries to touch his shoulder. you get out of the car, slamming the door shut behind you. you strut over to suguru and the girls and coo sweetly, ‘honey, what's the hold up?’ you pick up the girls while the lady scoffs and has the nerve to ask, ‘is she the babysitter?’ your eyes flick over to her and you ask suguru in the most mock sweet tone ‘is this the annoying whore of a mother you were talking about?’ ‘excuse me?’ she startles. ‘hmm?’ you say turning to finally look at her. ‘what did you say?’ she asks, furious with your description of her. ‘i just stated the facts, you're flirting with my man, in front of kids, after being with around four men in the past two years, i would say exactly what i said, yes.’ so you'd done a little bit of research. it paid off. ‘the boy is mine, go find another man to throw yourself at’ you say evenly. you nudge suguru, the girls had been holding in their laughter. ‘bye sweetie,’ you say to her son, ‘make sure your mom doesn't come near nanako and mimiko's dad okay?’ you walk away and help the girls into the car. ‘the boy is mine, huh?’ suguru chuckles. ‘well he is mine isn't he?’ you ask, sitting in the front. suguru takes his seat at the steering, ‘of course he is.’ ‘mama's such a badass’ mimiko giggles. ‘yeah she is’ suguru says, ‘wait who taught you that word?!’
choso kamo
your nail tech was flirting with your boyfriend, how unprofessional. this wasn't the first time, no. this had happened multiple times before. choso, sweetheart that he is, has no idea of what's going on until you explain it to him. he's more wary this time, so when she leans over a little bit too close to ask him for the reference, he steps back. she keeps invading his personal space. but you finally react when she tries to touch his hair. ‘i thought i was at a nail salon’ you say, loud and clear. ‘you are, obviously’ she replies, still perky ‘well, this doesn't feel like it. i've been here for an hour and i've watched you flirt with my boyfriend and invade his privacy for forty minutes of it.’ you state flatly. she flares and tries to say something, when you cut her off and continue ‘the nails aren't even close to being done and i would like to speak to your manager’ ‘i am my manager’ she retorts. ‘well, please keep in mind to value your customer's time, and not flirt with taken men. it's higly unprofessional.’ you get up and grab your things, ‘come on choso, let's go baby.’ you're halfway through the door when you turn back and say, ‘i probably won't come back here, and even if i do, the boy is mine, please go find someone who'll deal with you’ that day, choso knew very well what you could do if he was uncomfortable, and he fell even more in love with you. fuck yeah, this boy was yours.
yuji itadori
the arcade attendant is clearly into him. she's been clinging to him ever since you guys came here. poor yuji, he'd planned this date for the longest time and now some leech was stuck to him. he throws you apologetic glances and you just smile, it wasn't his fault. however, when she suggests he should try ice skating with her, since he's never done it before.you snap. ‘the boy is mine, and i can ice skate, i think i should be the one taking my guy ice skating instead of some random chick at the arcade.’ this shuts her up. and she peels herself of his arm. yuji sighs a breath of relief and she shoots him a look. ‘go glare at someone else, don't pick out taken men though,’ you say and bump past her on purpose. grabbing yuji's hand, you drag him to the pac man booth, ‘let's go baby, we've had enough of people trying to get with my boy.’ yuji blushes, ‘your boy?’ ‘you are my boy aren't you?’ ‘only yours.’
megumi fushiguro
you're waiting for the lady at the bookstore to stop talking to megumi so he can pick out the book you wanted. only, she doesn't stop and megumi's getting uneasy. he's trying to be polite, he really is but he cant help it, it's showing on his face how much he wants to get out of that conversation. you decide to intervene when she tries to drag him off to a secluded place in the store. ‘i would like for you to take you hands off my man’ you state. ‘huh?’ she quips still holding onto megumi. ‘i said, the boy is mine, get your hands off him’ the pointed tone and the veiled venom in your voice is enough for her to immediately retract her hands and sulk. ‘let's go pick out that book you wanted, baby’ he says, smirk on his face, his hand sliding around your waist and guiding you away from the girl. you walk with him but turn and give her a look. she was never seen in the bookstore again, despite being a clerk, probably resigned. ‘the boy is mine?’ he asks, smiling. ‘aren't you?’ ‘forever your man, baby.’ ‘nah you're my boy.’ ‘that works too.’
toge inumaki
that barista was getting on your nerves. you were standing right next to your boyfriend, while this girl flirted with him. pretending she understood sign langauge, only to ask him unnecesary questions. the cafe was empty and she took her own sweet time asking about his favourite colour and his sexuality. when she asked him if he has a girlfriend, and toge is frustrated, you decided to cut in. ‘what my boyfriend is trying to say is that he would like a large latte to go, thank you very much.’ you say annoyance clearly visible. ‘oh so, you're his girlfriend?’ she aks, skeptic. ‘the boy is mine, so i would say yeah, i am his girlfriend, now can you stop flirting with customers and get the damn coffee?’ you snark. that coffee was the most memorable coffee he's ever had. toge inumaki gazes over at you and types in his notes app. ‘forever your boy, baby.’

you and kageyama reuniting after a breakup.
the biting november wind whipped around you, tugging at the collar of your coat as you waited at the bus stop. the city lights blurred through the rain-streaked window of the small shelter, casting a hazy glow on the damp pavement. you had just finished a good book in your local library-which was suprisingly a bittersweet moment.
then, he appeared, a figure emerging from the swirling rain, a familiar silhouette under the dim streetlights. taller, broader, the lines of his face sharper, more defined, yet undeniably him. kageyama tobio. the years had etched a maturity onto his features, softening the sharp edges of his youthful intensity. he was still undeniably him, though, the same intensity that used to be overwhelming now holding a quiet strength.
your eyes met across the bustling bus stop, a silent recognition passing between you that transcended the years. time seemed to stop. the city noise faded into a muted hum, leaving only the sound of your own breaths, the rhythmic drumming of the rain against the shelter's roof. he looked different; more mature, the sharp edges of his youth softened by time and experience. he stood a few feet away, his usual stoic expression slightly softened, a hint of surprise in his usually focused eyes.
ths wasn't supposed to happen. a chance encounter at a random bus stop? definitely not on your bingo card. but as he walked towards you-his usual intensity tempered with an unexpected gentleness-you found yourself unable to look away. the years had changed you both, and maybe, just maybe, this unexpected reunion was the start of something new. something more than just painful memories. Something...real.
the once intense, almost frightening focus in his eyes was now tempered with a quiet understanding. he approached hesitantly, his usual confident stride replaced by a hesitant gait, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. he stopped before you, his gaze unwavering, his expression unreadable. the years had softened his features, adding a maturity that was both captivating and unsettling. the years had changed you both. he wasn't the same boy who had left you heartbroken, and you certainly weren’t the same girl who had let him go.
he murmurs your name, his voice that was a low rumble-sent a shiver down your spine.
the sound of your name, whispered on his lips after all this time, felt both strange and incredibly familiar. It was a sound you thought you'd forgotten, a sound that stirred something deep within you, a forgotten melody awakening from a long slumber.
"kageyama?" you managed, your voice barely a whisoer.
four years. four years since you'd last seen kageyama tobio, four years since you'd walked away from a relationship that felt more like a one-sided dedication to volleyball than a partnership.
he was wearing a simple jacket, his hands shoved deep into his pockets, the same quiet intensity you remembered radiating from him. he paused, as if momentarily disoriented, before his eyes widened in recognition.
"what are you doing here?" you asked, your voice a little steadier now, trying to mask the turmoil inside.
he shifted his weight, a familiar nervous habit. "I... I live nearby now. Just moved back a few months ago." He paused, then added, "I didn't expect to see you."
"you look...good," he finally said, his voice a little rough.
"so do you," you replied, and it was true. the years had been kind, adding a certain ruggedness to his features.
"what...what have you been up to?" he asked, as if afraid to delve too deep, too soon.
you talked, hesitantly at first, then with a growing ease that surprised you both. He spoke of his career, of the challenges and triumphs of professional volleyball, his voice a little less harsh, a little more...vulnerable, he listened intently as you spoke about your life, your work, your friends, his gaze unwavering, his focus sharp and intense, yet somehow softer than before.
"I... I'm sorry," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "for everything. for not being...what you needed."
he apologized, not for the first time, but this time, it felt different. there was a genuine remorse in his eyes, a recognition of the mistakes he'd made, the time he'd wasted.
You looked at him, really looked at him, and saw the genuine remorse in his eyes, a recognition of the mistakes he'd made, the time he'd wasted. "It's okay, Kageyama. That was a long time ago."
"no, it's not," he countered, his voice firm. "It still matters. It matters to me."
just then, the bus arrived, breaking the spell of your unexpected reunion, he hesitated. he didn't reach for your hand, though. didn't offer a grand of reconciliation. Instead, he simply said, "l...I'd like to see you again." his voice was quiet, almost a murmur, but the sincerity in his eyes spoke volumes.
you nodded-a genuine smile that reached your eyes-a smile that held the promise of a future yet to be written. "I'd like that too," you replied.
the bus doors hissed open, the sound jarring in the quiet air. you took a step back, ready to board.
"wait," he said, his voice urgent. he took a step forward, closing the distance between you. "can I... can I get your number.. again?" he asks, you did block him very shortly after breaking up-which you thought was reasonable enough.
your heart skipped a beat. after all this time, the simple request felt like a victory. you fumbled in your bag, pulling out your phone. "of course," you said, your voice a little shaky.
he quickly typed in his number, then handed the phone back. "I'll text you," he said, his gaze locked on yours. "let me know you got it."
"I will," you promised, a warmth spreading through you.
as you turned to board the bus, you glanced back. kageyama was still standing there, watching you, a small, hopeful smile playing on his lips. you offered a quick wave, then stepped onto the bus, the doors closing behind you with a final hiss, sealing you away from the cold November air and into the warmth of the bus. as you found a seat, you pulled out your phone, a message already forming in your mind.
perhaps, just perhaps, this wasn't the end of your story, but a new beginning. a second chance to rewrite the past, to build something real, something lasting, something that wasn't just about volleyball, but about two people finally finding their way back to each other

१९ took a long(ish) break, due to writing block :((this is a bit long but I hope you guys like it! btw, i do have dc so if any1 wants to chat, hmu! (respectfully winkwink) [and yes, this IS my second time posting this 'cause my atupid ass accidentally deleted it]

✦ 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐯𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡

› 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐲𝐮𝐮 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
› 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲: everything is all good here, feel free to indulge as much as you’d like!
› 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: whether or not some of the haikyuu boys would soft launch or hard launch you
› 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫: I thought that this would be really cute, I think I wanna make a couple more parts of this, but we'll see! I do hope you guys enjoy <33!
ᥫ᭡ 𝐔𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐣𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 — I feel like bro doesn’t even use social media, like he has a verified profile and everything, but he doesn’t post unless it’s like volleyball-related. however, I think he’d soft-launch the hell out of you. like when he asks you to be his girlfriend and stuff, like people wouldn’t know (I feel like he’s like a really private person), but as a few years pass and he proposes to you he’d post like a singular photo of you with your hand in the camera, GIANT rock on your ring finger with a caption like “she said yes 🙂”.
when I tell you, EVERYONE is shocked and surprised. like everyone is, including his own teammates. like they would be like “I know that you’re in love with y/n and you guys have been together for like years, but i didn’t know that you were considering marrying her, let alone proposing to her.” and then ushijima would djust be like, “marrying her was always going to be the end goal”, and he would definitely have liek the softest smile on his lips, like its so cute.
he literally only smiles when he talks about you. his teammates and friends start gushing. and I feel like he would totally cry watching you walk down the aisle, too.
ᥫ᭡ 𝐎𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐮 — I feel like he would attempt to soft launch you, but he just has such a big, fat mouth that he quite literally can’t keep it under wraps. like when the two of you would start dating, he was doing pretty well at keeping it on the low, not by his choice, though. you thought it would be better to slowly make it known that the two of you are a couple, since he does have such an insane fan club of girls, but he understood your reasoning and respected it.
I think that oikawa is an aesthetic king on the low. so if you guys were to go out on a date at like this super really nice restaurant, he would post a picture [in low exposure lighting, of course] highlighting the two glasses and two plates. he’d probably also caption it ‘on a date, kind of nervous’; and you would just barely be in the frame. on top of that, let’s say that you guys went on a date to like a carnival too, and you guys took two different sets of pictures, he would post the set where your hair is covering your face the most, or where you can’t actually see you that much in general. that way, he can obviously still respect your boundaries of not being ready to let everyone know, but still allowing people to know that the two of you are dating.
one day, you guys were on a date, and he made this little collage of the two of you just to save to his phone, but he accidentally posted it and didn’t realize till a few hours later when people were blowing up your phone and his congratulating the two of you. everyone was literally super sweet, and saying that the two of you are freaking adorable. you felt a little silly about it all, but oikawa peppered you with kisses and supplied you with D1-level reassurance. mwah.
ᥫ᭡ 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐢 — what’s a hard launch? the hell is a soft launch? tsukishima, more than likely, has heard of these terms before, but he just simply doesn’t care about them; he actually probably thinks that they’re kind of stupid. if you want to show off your partner, then go ahead; if not, that’s fine too. there’s no need to go through a “hard” or” soft” launch. he thinks that the term and label as a whole is really, really stupid.
I don’t think that he’s necessarily the type of person to like try and “hide” or “not” show you off. like I feel like he’s the type of person to have like mad followers on instagram, and he’ll have like a few instagram highlights; like a highlight of just himself, some stuff from volleyball and like a music highlight. and then he’ll randomly post to his stories like pictures of the two of you, and some candid shots of you! eventually he’ll also make a highlight of just you and the name would probably be something simple like ‘🤍’
everyone responds to his story, but literally, he doesn’t pay anybody any mind. to be honest, I literally don’t think he responds to any of his instagram dm’s like at all. it’s really bad. he has stuff sitting in there from his classmates from like years, ago. a little side track, but I feel like this man is also super bad at texting people back. like he would acknowledge the message, but he’ll leave people on ‘read’, or delivered.
ᥫ᭡ 𝐁𝐨𝐤𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮 — hard launch. like absolutely, no doubt in my mind he is a hard launcher. mind you — he’d probably hard-launched both of you before the two of you even started dating. I feel like he is such a picture hoarder, like he is at least over 25k pictures in his phone (calling myself out with this one). and a vast majority of those pictures are of you, him, and the team, and random pictures he keeps forgetting to delete.
when you first joined the fukordani boys volleyball club as one of their managers, you and bokuto hit it off well. you seemed like a really sweet person, you’re super smart, and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, and he wanted to be your friend really bad! him and akaashi started to invite you to grab something to eat after late-night practices, and even things as simple as sitting outside during the lunch period together. eventually, you’ve naturally grown onto the team, and started to hang out with everyone as a whole as well.
as time went on, you and bokuto began to spend more one-on-one time with one another — whether it be him walking you home, or you guys hanging out at a cute little cafe that is somewhere in the area. no matter what you guys are doing, bokuto will always take a snapshot or some sort of photo of the two of you together and post it. like yeah, he posts a lot on a regular basis, but it’s not that hard to notice when you, specifically, are being posted a lot more often compared to everyone else.
when bokuto actually posted a cute candid photo of you holding the most gorgeous bouquet of roses, and somewhere on the screen it’ll say ‘guess whose officially the boyfriend to the most gorgeous girl’, and everyone is literally like “WHATTTTTTTT??” “I thought you guys were ALREADY dating.”

there is a kind of love in being known.
having a boyfriend like sugawara, meant having a boyfriend who knew you sooooo well.
on a random monday afternoon during practice, sugawara lingered by the sidelines, watching you sit by the bleachers, volleyballs bouncing on court. his gaze was gentle, warm—more than just noticing your presence, he saw the small signs that most might miss. the way your shoulders tensed when you were deep in thought, the faint furrow of your brow when something was bothering you, the way your fingers grasped your water bottle a little too tightly when you were trying to hide how tired you felt.
he stepped closer, voice soft but earnest. “hey, are you okay?”
you hesitated, unsure if you wanted to reveal what was really going on. but somehow, sugawara had a way of making you feel safe, like he understood even when words failed. you looked up—meeting his eyes—and for a moment, you considered pretending, putting on a brave face like you always did. but instead, you simply nodded, a small, tired smile on your lips.
he reached out, gently brushing your hand with his. “you don’t have to hide from me,” he said. “I see all the parts of you—your quiet moments, your messy thoughts, the things you try to keep hidden. that’s why I’m here, aren’t i?”
you felt a warmth bloom in your chest. no one had ever seen you like that—really seen you—and stayed. not just the surface, but the depths. the good, the messy, the loud, and the quiet. sugawara’s understanding made everything feel lighter, as if a weight you didn’t even realize you carried had been lifted.
“you know,” you whispered, voice trembling slightly, “it’s rare. to be truly known like that.”
he nodded softly, eyes full of kindness. “when someone knows you like that—you don’t have to pretend. you don’t have to explain every little thing because they already understand. you can be quiet, you can be messy, and you’re still loved. That kind of love—being truly known—it changes everything.”
you looked away for a moment, then back at him, feeling a newfound sense of comfort. with sugawara, you didn’t have to hide the parts of yourself you thought were unworthy or too much. here, you were seen—really seen—and loved for who you were in every state.
the world felt a little softer, a little less lonely. because in that moment, you realized there was love in being truly known. And sugawara’s presence made everything feel just a little more real, more beautiful, more safe.
and in that quiet understanding, you knew you had found something rare—something worth holding onto forever.

୨୧ unfortunately i couldn't make my text gradient 'cause i'm on my phone 😞 but anyways, i hope you guys like it!! i actually just thought about this and sugawara suddenly crossed my mind after soo.. ykyk he's gentle and shtuff 😍 I PROMISE THE TOJI FIC WILL COME SOON

gamer kenma and top student reader trope but with a twist <33
it was lunch time, and the classroom was quiet, except for the constant sound of your pen scribbling on paper. you looked at your notebook, consisting of notes with a handwriting like print. you were the brightest in your class, always at the top, your medals and trophies a testament to your dedication and intelligence. yet, despite your achievements, you couldn’t help but feel like there was something lacking. something more than just academics.
your gaze turned to the boy who was at the back of the class, clutching onto his nintendo like he always did—uninterested In anything and anyone. and you admit, you’ve developed a small liking for him. just a little.
you felt curious—how that small gadget could be of so much meaning to him. how those games resonate with him. so of course you had to buy one for yourself, out of curiosity anyway. you started staying up late, started watching tutorials for certain games—even going as far as to contact that friend of his—kuroo, to ask him about other games that kenma had played.
you were the definition of a lovestruck highschool student. it wasn’t that pathetic, actually. while you played those games, you felt more connected to him—as if sharing his world brought you a step closer to understanding him. and it felt nice.
meanwhile, unbeknownst to you, kenma had been eyeing you as well—for a while now, if i may add. a few things though, he was not the star student, nor the class favorite. he was the quiet boy at the back, often lost in his gadgets during breaks, his focus on the games he plays rather than grades. though—he wasn’t exactly dumb per se, just not that academically focused.
and then you. you were the untouchable genius, and—he admired you from afar. he studied you and your passions, he observed you. he cut back on his gaming, he listened more, stayed behind after classes, silently hoping that you would notice. it wasn’t normal for him to do things like this, but for you—for you it was just.. different.
you both did things for one another—but you would never admit it to each others face. It was like a sacred secret that only each of you would know, and maybe that was why it was so precious.
then, over the next few weeks, he began to notice subtle changes in you. you no longer talked about your medals nor your grades, no longer wrote notes during breaks; now, you were nose deep invested in games, holding your phone, nintendo, whatever gadget you had games on. the two of you even had a short conversation about the legend of zelda—your favorite game so far. It was also your first conversation. and.. it felt nice. he felt seen, in a way. It was as if you had started to step into his world, all because of the quiet influence he unknowingly had on you.
you looked up and caught his gaze, a shy smile forming. It was in that moment he realized you had taken the first steps into understanding what he loved, not just out of admiration for him but because you genuinely wanted to connect with him on his terms.
he felt a mixture of surprise and warmth. you were learning, not just to impress him, but because you cared—about him, about what he loved, and perhaps about finding a way to meet him halfway. the realization made him smile quietly to himself, knowing that sometimes, the smallest gestures could become the strongest bridges.
then finally, the moment arrived. the time when the school held an award ceremony. as your name was called as the top student, you looked to your left—because he was there too. he’d finally earned a place beside you, his medal gleaming on his chest, a symbol of his hard work.
but as the applause echoed around them, she realized something. despite her top medals and his, they were worlds apart in recognition. her medals never made him notice her, and his quiet efforts still couldn't bridge the silence. yet, in that moment, a new connection formed—not through medals or games, but through understanding that sometimes, the greatest victories are the ones we share silently, in the spaces between words. you both achieved something because of each other—and that was the highest honor of all.

୨୧ kind of a short one. inspired by a prompt :p

THIS IS SOOOO CUTEEEE, kinda wanna bake bcs of ths ngl
𖥔꒰ baking w/ hq boys
characters: hinata shoyo, osamu miya, bokuto kotaro, akaashi keiji, kenma kozume
cw: none (?) maybe pranking lol
hinata shoyo -
you both decided on making a chocolate cake. simple enough, right? the only problem – you both didn't know how to bake. even worse, you two always managed to turn every date / hangout / celebration into a competition. with pure intentions, of course! but just because your cute little baking competition was purely meant for having fun doesn't mean you two could avoid making a mess of the place. in fact, the friendly competition only seemed to amplify the mess of flour, eggs, and icing that was about to take place. you at least ended up winning with a somewhat cohesive undercooked cake against hinata's, as he calls it, "brazil sun-burnt crispy cake." you both took one bite of your winning cake before deciding on throwing it away.
"ooh, it's very moist! too moist, in fact!!"
osamu miya -
being the cooking connoisseur that he is, of course he was willing to try the slightly harder challenge that is baking. but working with professionals always had their pros and cons. originally, both of you were supposed to be making your traditional blueberry cheesecake. however, that slowly turned into just osamu making your traditional blueberry cheesecake. but at least you helped with making the crust, right? but no, that wasn't enough for you. after all, where's the fulfillment in that? so, after insisting for minutes that you could help him, he finally agreed and let you take on the role of... washing the dishes! unfortunately, he agreed too late and left you with nothing to help with. feeling a bit guilty, he decided to give you two extra slices of the cake.
"hey, you did well on the crust at least."
bokuto kotaro -
after weeks of practices and matches, bokuto finally managed to save some time to spend with you. usually, your dates consisted of activities such as road trips, amusement parks, and other outdoorsy ventures. however, you felt like both you and bokuto deserved a break from the outside world. so, what better activity to do than baking? not only do you get to spend quality time together, but you also get to fill your stomachs with a tasty treat! after some deliberation, you decided on making chocolate chip cookies; simple and your boyfriend's favorite. you left bokuto in charge of preparing the baking pan and preheating the oven while you started on the dough. he wasn't the brightest guy, but you're sure he wouldn't mess anything up! following the recipe perfectly, (excluding the extra chocolate chips added by bokuto) you placed the pan of dough-balls into the oven. after minutes of waiting for the cookies to bake, your alarm rings. bokuto excitedly took them out of the oven only to notice that... the cookies seemed darker than they're supposed to be.
"did you preheat it to 350...?" you asked.
"oh... i thought you said 'in a jiffy'... so i put it to 450!"
akaashi keiji -
akaashi was the best at following recipes. all the effort and precision put into all of his culinary endeavors have surely not gone unnoticed, resulting in perfect delicacies – not too sweet, not too salty, and with just the right amount of fluffiness and firmness. of course, being his partner meant you were the main recipient of these exquisitely crafted treats, and they never disappoint. and although you were grateful for his baking prowess, you couldn't help but want to mess with him. after all, perfection can get... bland. so, with an evil plan in mind, you offer to help your boyfriend bake his signature vanilla cupcakes. now, you stood behind the counter, watching as akaashi measured the different ingredients with precision. after a short while, he leaves to prepare the cupcake liners. with akaashi gone, it was finally time to execute your plan. you switch out the vanilla extract for soy sauce and mix it into the batter. when akaashi returns, you tell him that you thought you'd take care of the mixing for him. unbeknownst to your plan, he pours the batter into each one of the liners and places it in the oven until fully baked. after taking them out, the odd smell of sugar and soy sauce filled the air. once the cupcakes have rested, you take one and offer it to him. he bites into the cupcake, face contorting into expressions of surprise and confusion.
"it tastes like soy sauce... not too bad, though."
kenma kozume -
although shy and somewhat socially inept, kenma was a good friend and a great boss. he always made sure to prioritize his employees' wellbeing and opinions before proceeding with certain projects and always made sure to repay them with just as much as they put into their assignments. and when a project they've been working on for many months turns out successful, who was he to deny them of the reward they deserved? so, he came to you, his loveliest partner, and asked if you could bake his employees' a gift – his favorite (and personally, the best baked good you knew how to bake) apple pie! with his help, you and kenma embarked on your journey of baking 11 apple pies (the extra one being for you two, of course.) while he was a successful streamer and business owner with many other endeavors, he wasn't as confident in his baking prowess. sure, he knew how to cook, but baking was way more technical and especially hard for someone whose baking "experience" comes from video games. even so, he took his task of making the home-made pie crust very seriously. after a few mishaps such as too much pie filling and too little crust, you finally finished making your 11 beautifully golden apple pies! the next day at work, he served his many employees a slice of your lovingly crafted pie, leaving each one of them impressed.
"all i did was make the crust. it was my partner who did most of the work."
🍎 a/n: added kenma last minute since im a kenma fanpage after all 🙂↕️

ok so.. you and kuroo slowly picking up on each other’s mannerisms day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year.
It had been a year since you and kuroo had officially become a couple, your relationship a comfortable blend of playful banter and quiet understanding. you two were polar opposites in many ways—you were meticulously organized and precise. he was charmingly chaotic and effortlessly cool. yet, this contrast only seemed to enhance your bond.
one evening, while studying at the library, you found yourself absentmindedly tapping a pen against your notebook, a habit you’d picked up from kuroo. he often tapped his fingers on surfaces when deep in thought, a rhythm that had become almost hypnotic to you. you hadn’t even realized that you yourself was doing it, and a small smile playing on your lips when you did.
later that week, kuroo was watching a volleyball match, his usual relaxed posture shifting slightly as he leaned forward, intently focused on the game. he unconsciously straightened his back, mirroring your posture at the times when you were concentrating on a particularly challenging assignment. he didn't notice the subtle change, but you did, and your heart warmed at the sight.
"You know," you teased, nudging him playfully, "you're starting to look like a proper student." kuroo chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, "and you're starting to look like you could take on the entire volleyball team with that intense stare." he playfully ruffled your hair, a gesture you often did to him when he was stressed.
your shared mannerisms were subtle, almost imperceptible to the casual observer. you found yourself unconsciously smirking with the same playful arrogance kuroo often displayed, while he found his hands instinctively reaching out to smooth your hair, a gesture you often did to herself when nervous.
one day, while walking hand-in-hand through the city, the both of you paused at a bustling street corner. you instinctively reached out a hand to hold kuroo’s, a protective gesture you’d seen him use towards you numerous times. he squeezed your hand, a silent acknowledgment of your unspoken understanding, your mirrored habits a testament to your deep connection.
the subtle mirroring continued, a silent language spoken only between the two of you. It was a quiet affirmation of your love, a gentle reminder that you were not just two individuals, but two halves of a whole.

୨୧ teehee i rlly liked this one for sum reason

on behalf of pride month, I present you, satosugu <3 slightly suggestive. I've been listening to too much sombr.
The humid Tokyo air hung heavy, a thick blanket clinging to Satoru's skin as he leaned against the railing of their favorite rooftop spot. Skyscrapers pierced the twilight sky, their lights blinking like distant stars in a concrete galaxy. He could practically taste the electricity in the air, a premonition of another cursed spirit encounter, another night spent battling shadows. But tonight—the usual thrill was absent—replaced by a dull ache in his chest.
Suguru sat a few feet away, the soft glow of the city painted him in golds and oranges, highlighting the sharp angles of his face and the solemnity in his dark eyes. Satoru found himself drawn to him, as always, a moth to a flickering flame. But tonight, the flame felt different. It burned with a dangerous, unfamiliar heat.
Their friendship had always been a singular thing, a bond forged in the crucible of jujutsu training. They were two halves of a whole, Gojo’s Six Eyes perfectly complementing Geto’s mastery of cursed spirit manipulation. They understood each other without words, anticipated each other's moves in battle, and shared a cynical humor about the absurdities of their world. They were inseparable, Gojo and Geto, the strongest.
Until they weren't.
It had started slowly, subtly, with glances that lingered a fraction too long, a touch that lingered a fraction too warmly. Then, the unspoken understanding had morphed into something else entirely, a silent question hanging in the air between them. It culminated one sweltering summer night, fueled by sake and shared exhaustion, in a small, cramped room above a ramen shop in Kyoto.
They hadn’t planned it. There were no grand declarations of love, no carefully orchestrated seduction. It was a messy, impulsive, desperate act born of loneliness and a yearning for connection in a world that demanded so much of them. They had sought solace in each other, a momentary escape from the crushing weight of their responsibilities.
And for a fleeting, intoxicating moment, they had found it.
The memory of that night was etched into Satoru’s mind with painful clarity. The frantic urgency of their first kiss, the desperate tangle of limbs, the whispered confessions in the darkness. He remembered the way Suguru’s hand had trembled as he reached for him, the raw vulnerability in his eyes, and the gasp that had escaped his lips when Satoru finally touched him.
It had been a revelation, a forbidden taste of something exquisite and dangerous. It had also been a mistake.
The next morning dawned with a heavy silence. Suguru had risen before Satoru, his face an unreadable mask. He hadn’t met Satoru’s gaze, had only mumbled a perfunctory apology before retreating into himself. They hadn’t spoken of it since, pushing the memory down, burying it beneath layers of duty and denial.
But Satoru couldn't forget. The feeling of Suguru’s skin against his, the sound of his ragged breathing, the weight of his body pressed against his own—it haunted him, a constant reminder of what they had shared and what they had lost.
Now, months later, the tension between them was a tangible thing, a suffocating wall that grew higher with each passing day. They still fought side-by-side, still protected each other's backs, but their interactions were strained, their laughter forced. Suguru seemed to be actively avoiding him, keeping his distance, his eyes carefully averted.
Satoru knew why. He knew that Suguru was trying to erase that night, to pretend it never happened. He wanted to go back to the way things were, back to being just friends, just partners, just Gojo and Geto, the strongest.
But god it was impossible.
“Suguru,” Satoru finally said, his voice raspy with unspoken words. Suguru didn't look up, stubbornly so. “We need to talk.” Suguru sighed, a sound heavy with resignation. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
"Yes, there is,” Satoru insisted, pushing himself off the railing. He walked towards Suguru, closing the distance between them. The air crackled with unspoken desires and buried regrets. “What happened… that night…”
Suguru’s hands stilled, his knuckles white. He finally looked up, his eyes filled with a weariness that cut Satoru to the core. “It was a mistake, Satoru. Let’s just forget it ever happened.”
The words were like a punch to the gut. Satoru recoiled, his chest tightening with pain. “Forget it? How can I forget it, Suguru? It changed everything.”
Suguru’s voice was low, pleading. “It shouldn’t have. We can go back. We can be like we were before.” Satoru shook his head, his voice laced with bitter irony. “How can we go back to being friends… after that?"
He watched as Suguru’s face crumpled, his carefully constructed facade crumbling. “Don’t say that, Satoru.”
“Hell, you can’t even look at me properly in the eye.” Satoru pressed, his voice rising. He needed Suguru to understand, to acknowledge the depth of what had happened between them. “You can’t just erase it, Suguru. It’s a part of us now.” Suguru stood up, his body tense. “It was a weakness, Satoru. A moment of weakness. We can’t let it control us.”
“Weakness?” Satoru scoffed. “It was the most real thing we’ve ever shared. Don’t you feel it, Suguru? The connection, the… the everything?”
Suguru turned away, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon. “I have a duty, Satoru. We both do. We can’t let personal feelings get in the way.”
Satoru’s heart shattered. He finally understood. Suguru wasn't denying the connection, he was afraid of it. He was afraid of the vulnerability, the possibility of getting hurt, the risk of losing everything they had built. He was choosing duty over desire, responsibility over love.
“So that’s it?” Satoru asked, his voice barely a whisper. “You’re just going to pretend it didn’t happen?” Suguru remained silent, his back to Satoru. He didn’t need to answer. Satoru already knew.
A wave of despair washed over him, leaving him feeling cold and empty. He was losing Suguru, slowly but surely, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
He turned and walked away, the city lights blurring through his tears. The humid air suddenly felt suffocating, the weight of his unrequited love pressing down on him.
He didn't know where he was going, didn't know what he was going to do. All he knew was that he couldn't stay there, couldn't bear to watch Suguru slowly disappear from his life.
As he disappeared into the crowded streets, he heard Suguru’s voice, barely audible above the city’s din. “Satoru…”
He didn’t stop, didn’t turn around. He knew that if he did, he would crumble, would beg Suguru to stay, to choose him. And he couldn’t bear the thought of being rejected again.
So he kept walking, his heart aching with a grief so profound it felt like a physical wound. He knew that they would continue to fight together, continue to protect each other, but something fundamental had been broken between them.
The night they shared had changed everything, leaving them both stranded on opposite sides of an unbridgeable divide. They could never go back to being friends, not after sharing a bed, not after baring their souls to each other in the darkness.
And as Satoru walked further into the night, he knew that Suguru would never truly look at him again, not as someone he had known, not as someone he had loved, not as someone he had shared a piece of his soul with. He would only see a ghost, a reminder of a night they both desperately wanted to forget.
And that, Satoru realized, was the greatest tragedy of all. They were destined to remain, forever, strangers with shared memories, bound together by duty and separated by a love that could never be. The strongest, yes, but also the most broken.
💭;; i hope you guys like it! It's different from my usual posts but i just wanted to write something for pride month. and what better way to do that than for a doomed ship??

HEAR ME OUTTT, imagine being a new addition to the other two managers at karasuno’s vb club, and as time passes, nishinoya swears he likes you more than kiyoko.
“she’s the new manager?” yachi squeels, taking a peek at kiyoko’s phone. it was a picture of you, most probably of your student id. “yeah.” kiyoko replies, nodding.
the others overhear their conversation, and immediately come running—except for tsukishima and kageyama—who were busy minding their own business. “new manager?! she?!” tanaka and nishinoya’s eyes sparkle at the thought of their new manager being a woman. typical.
daichi smacks nishinoya’s head, while sugawara smacks tanaka’s. “you all should be respectful to her in her first day,” their captain eyes the both of them. “especially you two.” sugawara chuckles. “that’s right, she’s a late addition but that’s not reason not to treat her like family.”
so there you were, on your first day, nervous, giddy and excited. kiyoko and yachi were the ones who introduced you to everyone—though you were still a bit skeptical of the bald guy and the libero, they’ve been eyeing you ever since you got here.
it took a few minutes for you to warm up to them—but it wasn’t really that hard considering how much of a ball of sunshine that hinata guy was.
a few days pass, and you’ve been great. you did your duties well, got along with everyone—and you even got along with that tsukishima guy ! you had your own snarky remarks up your sleeve every time he would tease you.
though, unbeknownst (not) to you, someone has been pining on you ever since the day you stepped foot into the gym.
nishinoya was a whirlwind of motion, always ready with a joke—which were sometimes flirty, unfortunately. Initially you see him as a fun, albeit slightly chaotic, person. he’s constantly asking for advice on team strategies, and he always makes sure to thank you properly—sometimes with a treat to a nearby 7/11 store, or with a simple thanks.
beyond the games, you start noticing the small things. nishinoya's quiet moments of concentration while studying game footage, his concern for his teammates' well-being. sometimes he even shares his favorite snacks with you, his eyes sparkling with mischief, and you find yourself laughing more than you ever have before.
during a particularly tough match, karasuno faced a devastating loss. nishinoya, who was usually brimming with confidence, was visibly downcast. you approached him, offering your words of comfort. In that moment, you see a vulnerability in him, a side he rarely reveals—and nishinoya knew he was inlove with you. you. you pointed out all his good plays, how hard he tried, how hard he improved. you saw him. not just the energetic, sometimes perverted libero, but nishinoya yu, him.
then, time came when tanaka, nishinoya, hinata and kageyama had to pass their exams in order to go tokyo—which of course was challenging—especially for hinata who, quote-on-quote, never got double digits on his tests. though, much to nishinoya’s luck, you offered to study with him after every practice to ensure that he would go to tokyo along with his other teammates. yes, he was terrible at studying but you, you were patient, explaining subjects in a way that he could understand.
you two’d laugh, share stories and talk about everything and nothing inbetween lessons. he felt ease with you, like he could be himself completely. nishinoya grew comfortable with you, and his feelings did too.
although, that of course meant that it harder for him to tell you how he was really feeling..! it was frustrating—but, maybe he could confess another time. it doesn’t have to be now, or tomorrow—he doesn’t have to rush. he likes you too much that he’s afraid of scaring you away with his sudden confession. it takes time, and he knows that.
yu nishinoya likes you. even more than kiyoko. no, scratch that. he never liked kiyoko. it was just you, from the beginning to the end.
💭;; hmm.. thoughts thoughts.. gonna be changing my theme so i made a post to entertain some of you while i'm being busy teehee. oh and i don't think i'm gonna be labelling my posts as 'drabbles' cause some are like.. long long
