one of my favourite things about president snow’s character is that he doesn’t actually take any pleasure in the games, or their existence. in fact, i fully believe the man despises them. it’s just that he sees them as a very necessary evil, and so the show must go on.

he’s probably despised the games since he was 17, ever since he firsthand witnessed their brutality and the way it turns even the most decent people into killers. however, he’s seen just how effective and efficient a method of control they are.

they’re a short but very public spectacle that are a very brutal reminder of the price the districts pay for their rebellion. adding the aspect of being attached to these kids by providing them better odds via sponsorships, med packs, and better training and nutrition makes it even more heartrending and just more horrifying a reminder.

he knows how ghastly they are, but he’s also that clinical to know their usefulness to him, and so he continues them, because he above all else desires control.

public libraries are so sick. there are five books I want to read and they're all relatively new so they're only available in hardback which is so expensive but it just cost me $0 to place holds on them. five books for zero dollars. it requires nothing but clicking a button and then going to the library to pick them up when they're ready. zero dollars. that's crazy

i hope the live album will help louis get the recognition he deserves. and i hope more people give him a chance. because the truth is, louis really writes his songs for live performances. and even tho i love fitf with my whole heart, listening to it live makes it even more magnetic. and just hearing the audience, you can literally feel the connection he has with us. truly a masterpiece.

the live album is just so beautiful. and if you listen to it in order... so overwhelming. it's like you are in the audience, screaming the lyrics to louis. it reminds me of my concert and how much i enjoyed being there, in the moment. and his voice is just so soothing and angelic... my heart is literally fluttering while listening to it.

louis loves us so much. and louies love louis as much. together we really are the greatest! ahhh
