I’ve been working through some prompts to develop my drawing skills.

Pictured:

Eoigurn, my bear shape-shifter, dressed in a cartoon character’s clothing. My partner suggested I draw him wearing Winnie the Pooh’s clothing. And so I did.

Celeste, my bird shape-shifter, dressed in a Halloween costume. (I would have drawn her in a cliche ”slutty nun” costume, but in the fantasy world, there are no nuns.)

Rurika, my horse shape-shifter, doing something she would otherwise never do. She’s a sex-repulsed aroace, and kissing isn’t something she’s into.

In late March, it will be a year since I begun to draw as a 33-year-old. I’m incredibly proud of myself for a) sticking with this even when it was difficult and b) developing. Of course b) wouldn’t have happened without a).
