"I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.”

Gondor! Gondor, between the Mountains and the Sea! West Wind blew there; the light upon the Silver Tree Fell like bright rain in gardens of the Kings of old. O proud walls! White towers! O wingéd crown and throne of gold! O Gondor, Gondor! Shall Men behold the Silver Tree, Or West Wind blow again between the Mountains and the Sea?

Kíli smiled as he watched the two interact once again, seeing that the two of them were truly in love now. He nodded as she answered his question, of course it would be different to the usual for her, but Kíli was absolutely sure that she would enjoy it thoroughly. He hoped he would be able to do the same one day, for his love, though when that would happen, Kíli was not sure.
The archer was surprised to hear that she wanted him to go with her, he honestly did not feel that he was any good for finding decent materials. Perhaps she wanted to talk to him about something, but he was not sure. He raced to bed eagerly after bidding the rest of them goodnight, both because he was tired from all the eating and because he was intrigued as to why Lillian wanted him to accompany her.
However, he did wake slightly later than he had wanted to. He got dressed quickly and went to have some very quick breakfast. Lillian was already there, which he felt bad about, he said good morning and carried on eating. Quickly, but not messily.
Once he was done, the two of them left together, talking lightly about the wedding and everything that was needed. It was mostly Lillian talking, Kíli had very little knowledge on the subject. They approached the market quite early, already busy and full of trade and Kíli asked;
"Was there anything in particular you wanted? I have a bit of understanding of what the bride should wear, but I think it's down to you mostly." He looked at her, but she wasn't answering that question, she had begun to talk about elvish weddings. Kíli perked up somewhat, desperate to hear about it all.

Lillian smiled. ” I’m actually very excited to have a dwarven marriage. ” She looked back at Thorin before answering Kili’s question. ” I don’t mind. I’m just a bit shy to see so many people coming to our wedding. I don’t know them so it’s a bit difficult for me to actually see so many people. But I guess that I’ll be well surrounded. ” She looked at her beloved at that moment.
Thorin smiled and caressed her hair before looking at his nephew. ” Kili seems to be pretty curious towards the wedding.” he smirked. Lillian smiled. “ Well at least he’s interested in many things. You should be proud of your nephews, Thorin. They both help a lot and they’re curious and eager to learn more. “
At that moment, the princess turned her head and winked at Kili. Dis smiled and looked at Thorin. “ Yes. I confirm it: she’s going to be a very good mother.” The princess blushed. The dwarf king looked at her for a long time before whispering in a very in love tone: “ Yes… She will.. “ He caressed her long hair and pulled her in his arms. He smiled at Dis and then looked at Lillian in the eyes. “ I love you. “ He whispered softly.
Lillian smiled at him and looked back at Dis and her sons. “ We should go to sleep. Tomorrow will be another busy day, don’t you think ? “Thorin nodded. “ I have to announce the wedding. I’d like it to happen in a few moons. So it’s not so long after our first step together. “ Lillian nodded at him and then stood up. “ Alright, we will see you all tomorrow. Kili, I’d like you to help me tomorrow, we will go find tissues. “ She said that with a very serious tone. She wanted to be alone with him, in order to speak truly about elven traditions. She could feel that he was interested in her culture.
As she left with Thorin, the princess headed in their bedroom. There, both laid under the covers, more comfortable than ever. Since they finally went further than just sleeping, both were closer than ever. More in love. Lillian fell asleep into her beloved’s arms. When she woke up, the princess kissed Thorin’s lips deeply before leaving the bed. She dressed herself and walked to Dis’ house. There, she sat and waited for Kili to come. “ Are you sure you don’t want my help for the tissues ? “ the mother asked. Lillian shook her head. “ No, Kili is excellent. “ She smiled and waited patiently.
