Just eating clean and training mean! I'm 30 years old, recently married and living a healthy lifestyle through working out and eating clean. I've been working out my entire life and have always been in shape but as I get older its harder to get the motivation to do it which is why I love Tumblr. I've recently realized I've used Tumblr alot as an outlet...or even as a journal at times. I find that when people do that on Facebook its rather annoying. Id rather do it towards a bunch of strangers than people I know. Is that weird? Anyway, I do post pics of myself and when I do they'll say "me" so you know its me. If you are my age, please follow me. I'm tired of all the teenage drama on my dash!!!
Today, while suffering through a horrendous WOD, my trainer said some pretty motivating stuff (as usual). I thought I’d share, just in case it could help anyone else.
- Comfort is not progress. Doing your WODs at a weight that is not challenging is not making you any better. If the voice in your head that tells you to quit is not screaming at you during your workout, you are not pushing hard enough. If you’re not constantly challenging yourself, you’re not getting anywhere.
- “One More Rep”. Becoming better doesn’t mean all of a sudden doing all of your reps without stopping. It means, if yesterday you would have quit after 6 burpees, today you do 7. When the voice in your head tells you to stop, tell yourself to do one more rep.
Three months in. I have the steel wire on top now cause my teeth are straight and where they need to be. Bottoms however, arent there yet. I have two triangles on the bottom on each side and now a band on the back left bottom molar going to the top left canine. So..im hurting today. Its looking good I thing. Loving my new smile
