So it’s been awhile scone I was on here. I just want to make sure that I clear up everything in one thing. My account was hacked by someone in my life who I cut off due to personal reasons. I will not name anyone, I’ll only say that they hurt me in ways that cannot be forgiven. Along with my leg, I had to visit my family in Mexico. Those tickets were non-refundable so I couldn’t just skip. Let’s also acknowledge that the real world events here in the US are quite scary. I might have all of my rights taken away all because I was born a different skin color than the majority. I might have them taken away because of what identity fits me best. So now that I finally have my community back, I’m so excited to come back to all of you. Asks will be closed until I’m able to respond to all of them. I will still do my best to be as active as possible while still interacting with as many people as I can. Thank you,

On a serious note some people can only afford thrifting and they deserve some nice clothes. Just because you think your doing good by the long your trash at the less fortunate doesn’t make you a good person. It makes you look like a dickhead. I’m someone who doesn’t rely on thrifting but I have a lot of friends and even some family that do. They’re all pretty epic ppl and deserve functioning clothing.

if you would not buy it in the state it’s in, don’t fucking donate it!!

maybe if there’s a button missing or little holes or stains, but stop using thrift stores as your garbage. the amount of actual trash we get donated at my job is ridiculous. one man’s trash is another man’s treasure like 20% of the time. but chances are if you didn’t want to fix it yourself, neither will anyone else.

quality too. if you would not buy shein from the thrift store yourself, don’t donate your “cute summer shein hauls :33” that you don’t wear anymore because the trend ended. nobody buys shein second-hand, and it sits on our shelves until we have to throw it out.
