Blog Update

Hi everybody that still follows me!

I have decided that I don’t like posting on this blog as much as I did before. (BUT HOLD UP THIS NOT A GOODBYE!)

This blog has been heavily associated with my requests, and as much as that helped meet wonderful people, it not the kind of content or vibe I want to have here anymore.

I changed a lot as a person from since I started posting here and that’s awesome! It means I learned more about myself and about the world too! But that also means that is time for some inside changes to reflect on the outside, and for me that would include my blogs, in particular my agere blog!

Agere is not just my coping mechanism, it’s also (in a way) my trauma response. And due to being so personal, I want to have blog that feels personal and not a performance!

This blog honest hasn’t felt like it’s truly mine for a while now… it definetly is a agere blog but not like my agere blog anymore.

I do really enjoy connecting with friends/mutuals and sharing art, fanfics, hcs etc. so I decided to make a new blog but all for my own indulgence.

Due to being so self indulgent I’ve decided to not share the @ here but I will be sharing it on DM’s if you still truly wanna follow me!

This blog will probably be deleted (after I have everything set up and working), but there will be saved reblogs on my new account from stuff I did that I still really enjoy (mainly self indulgent)

Also! I’m sorry for all of those who sent me requests and I didn’t fulfill them </3!

Hello,

I don’t often do this kinds of posts (actually this might be one of the first and last times I do this) but this is an important topic for me.

Recently I have seen one post in particular who did not credit the art used. I commented who the artist was and that crediting was important.

I was not only ignored but the comments got limited and (from what I understand) I got blocked (since the “error: can’t reblog this” appears).

This is not me trying to harass or bully someone, quite the contrary, if I could solve this via DM’s or comments I wouldn’t be here, but it really frustrates me how much artwork is reposted without credits on the agere community.

Specially seeing this post has now around 400 notes.

I remember making a post about similar issues before (here) but it looks like people (still) really don’t care and it breaks my heart as a regressor and as someone that draws to see a community that preaches so much about love and compassion having NO compassion for those who work doing the media/art they consume.

I call that hypocrisy.

I’m not saying I never made similar mistakes before, I myself have made stimboards without properly crediting the gif makers, because i wasn’t aware of how important it was to credit them. Once I learned that info I didn’t hide away from my mistakes, I changed my ways, and now all my stimboards are properly sourced and credited.

Out of respect I won’t be sharing the accounts name, but I will link here the OG artist Instagram (@/brightbat), Kylie sells prints, pins, stickers, plushies and other cute things on her Etsy store if you look into supporting her.

Over all, please do not attack this person, I do not intent on this being a post to drag someone but more of a overall warning to those who post stuff without credits: If the art moves you, makes you smile, makes you feel, why don’t give the artist the minimum respect of crediting them?

In addition: If you are the person that blocked me, we are both adults, 20 yro’s, so please, if you wanna resolve this let’s have a respectful chat like the adults we are via DM’s.

I got way more comfortable with my regression and my pacifier over the last couple of month, so now Demo gets to look like a child too!

Behind-the-scenes info: I drew this after feeling very, very sick and bad, and still partially regressed. I hadn't been able to upload this for a couple of weeks, had to fully calm myself first and reassure myself that all of this is okay. I'm so proud of myself (and Demo) ! 💙

Blatantly based off this post by @thetinyblossom because making picrews is certainly in my top 10 favorite regression activities and I'd like to compile some of my favorite picrews as well :3

🖌️ My room 🖌️

About: A room maker and half body character maker with a cutesy style.

Variety rating: This picrew has two very basic dark skin tones and practically no good curly hairstyles. It's more feminine and androgynous leaning but can be used to make any kind of child, chibi-like character regardless of gender.

🌊 Let's go to the sea 🌊

About: A simple half body maker with sea/pool/swimming themes.

Variety rating: This picrew has four basic skintones, no curly hair options (there's some wavy hairstyles but not quite curly). The cutesy artstyle makes it easier for fem/neu leaning characters.

🍬 Macarons 🍬

About: A very cute and yummy food and character maker with a simple chibi artstyle.

Variety rating: the curly hair options are very underwhelming and the darker skin tones aren't even dark, but the macaron itself is very customizable as it's the focus of this picrew.

About: Two room makers for those who would like to envision their ideal regression room!

Variety rating: The first picrew is more focused on brighter/darker colors and has ton of fandom related options for plushies and posters (just look at the picture I made, lol), while the second picrew has a pastel color palette and 2 to 3 options for each furniture space, but it's still very fun and cute nonetheless!

Variety rating: I don't think you can get more variety from a cream soda picrew than with this one! It covers a wide range of colors, toppings and effects, and, most surprisingly, critters! Mammals, dinosaurs, insects, ghosts, dragons and other mythical creatures, you can find there!

Travelling as a regressor ☆´ˎ˗ ︶︶︶

Ever so often I travel (usually with my partner) and lately I've been wanting to regress during our travels. Being far from home may be a little scary to little me, however it can also be an opportunity to do new things and get out of my comfort zone!

Packing up!

🚗: Don't overpack! Truth is, you can't bring your whole home with you when you travel, that's why it's essencial to think carefully about which things you'll actually end up using. I personally abide by the rule of one for non clothing items: One pacifier, one teether, one sippy cup or bottle is enough.

🧳: Pick only one reasonably sized stuffie to be your travel companion! Again, you can't bring your whole stuffie collection with you, regardless of its size. Your travel companion should ideally fit inside a bag, while being big enough to be cuddled with.

🚗: Digital games will be your best friends! Pack up your phone with your favorite mobile games, bonus points if they don't need internet connection.

🧳: Art supplies! For those who prefer to write and color traditionally you can always bring a small notebook and some colored pencils or crayons.

🚗: Putting it all together! I personally recommend to sort out a small bag or purse for your regression gear (basically an agere bag).

Planning ahead!

✈️: Make sure the place you'll be staying in is safe and private enough for you to regress. And if possible, set out a specific window of time to regress.

🖍️: If you're travelling with a caregiver, sitter or friend who knows about your regression they can help you out with planning and watching after you when you're small.

✈️: If you're travelling without a caregiver or sitter you can still plan calls and digital playdates with your caregivers/siblings/friends.

Activities!

✉️: Write letters for your stuffies back at home! Everytime I travel I miss my stuffies so so much, that's why I started writing letters for them so they'll know I'm doing okay and I'll be back soon enough!

🎈: Visit the local parks, zoos and aquariums! Most regressors love zoos and aquariums (myself included) and those are always a fun time and regressed-coded destination!

✉️: Make a travel journal! If you like journaling you can make a travel journal, that is, every end of the day you write about the things you got to do and decorate it with mementos you found during your adventures.

🎈: Take pictures! If you have your phone with you, you have a camera to register every moment wish. You can take pictures of your stuffie, the places you visit or even have a makeshift photoshoot if you want.

✉️: Have a movie night! When you're settled in for the night, you can always watch your favorite regression movies before bed.
