SHANKAR IS THE SNAKE THAT RAJA SAAB SHOULD'VE KILLED BEFORE IT GREW UP
Poor Raja Saab didn't see that snakelet grow its humongous fangs.
Once upon a time existed a village-enslaving, massive-eyed Raja Saab, worn out by his old age but not his testosterone.
He was born a king, hence, he had no other name. He was the formidable Raja Saab that no one dared cross...

... at least not until one of his snake slaves, Shankar, grew up to bite his ass.
During his childhood, Shankar witnesses both his parents' cold-blooded murder by Raja Saab's aides, which is what he is unaware of.
Then, to hide this gruesome deed from the world, Raja Saab is not only forced to mute Shankar down for the rest of his life by shoving burning coal into the kid's mouth but also to adopt the eye-witness that could land him in prison.
Raja Saab raises Shankar in his own palace on his own black money, albeit as a slave. Well, at least the kid gets a good roof above his head, right?

But the sad part is that that guy, even after being raised by the vilest man in the village, grows up to be a righteous prick.
Amidst all this, Raja Saab is frustrated on being unable to convert his libido into actions in his bedroom.
I mean, the poor old guy has just one woman to hold captive and use: his secretary, Bindiya. He is bound to get bored.
Raja Saab is a progressive man who believes age is just a number, though. On being advised to get a younger girl to get his juices flowing, Raja Saab begins his search.
His gaze falls upon the typical loud and chirpy village belle, Gauri. The man, who is full of conviction, falls for the first decked up girl he sees. Ain't that sweet?

He decides to marry Gauri. However, he correctly gauges the shallowness of the girl's mind and realises she would never agree to marry an old man like him.
So, Raja Saab outsmarts the girl who refuses to marry anyone without looking at their picture. Please note that she wants to know her would-be significant other merely through a photograph.
Raja Saab sends over Shankar's photo, which, unsurprisingly, the shallow girl falls in love with.

Thereafter, he entraps her in a wedlock with himself.
To think of it, it wasn't solely Raja Saab's vileness that brought Gauri where she went. Her shallowness of going after looks is to blame too. She surely deserved the brutal lesson that Raja Saab deftly taught her.
However, unfortunately, Raja Saab's dark attempts are rendered futile after Gauri's resistance. Well, he does give her her space and decides to win her over instead of testifying his toxic masculinity right away.
But Shankar misuses Raja Saab's generosity and opens his mute mouth to tell Gauri that he wasn't involved in this plan, thereby reinstating love for him in her heart.

Like Shankar, whom Raja Saab looked after and made a faithful slave of, ruthlessly backstabs his owner-parent.
He gives Gauri the courage and support to flee Raja Saab's fortress.
If that wasn't enough, he leads her on and starts an affair with the woman who is practically Raja Saab's wife, even if she was wed to him while being unconscious.
Enter a random girl and Shankar forgets all his years of growing up licking Raja Saab's boots.

Of course, he has a death wish. Raja Saab, as he rightfully should, won't settle down without avenging this grave betrayal of his trust.
Think about the heartbreak he would have endured on seeing his slave pick arms against him.

The enraged old man, with his other slaves and never-exhausting testosterone, kills Shankar, abducts Gauri and puts her in the same brothel as the first rebellious woman, Bindiya.
So, Raja Saab is not only vile and twisted but also consistent.
Sadly for Raja Saab, that Shankar returns not only with a refilled life but also with a voice that spells doom for him.

By this time, besides stealing Raja Saab's enforced love interest, Shankar also steals his chances of continuing to live, rule, kill and lech.
Obviously, the silver-haired oldie receives a massive blow from this reality.
Even as Raja Saab pleads with Shankar to spare his life by reminding him, "Shankar, ham tumko paala hoon re," that snake bites the life out of him, thereby putting an end to an age-old legacy of slavery, lust, and vileness.

All of Raja Saab's hardwork gets destroyed with Shankar's one move. And that is not fair.
